1 Hubaal xaqnimada aamusnaan ma ku sheegtaan? Binu-aadmigow, si qumman wax ma u xukuntaan?
“For the leader of the music. To the tune of “Do not destroy.” A psalm of David.” Do ye, indeed, administer justice faithfully, ye mighty ones? Do ye judge with uprightness, ye sons of men?
2 Hubaal qalbiga waxaad ka samaysaan xumaato, Oo waxaad ka fikirtaan dulmiga gacmihiinna oo aad dhulka ku samaysaan.
Nay, in your hearts ye contrive iniquity; Your hands weigh out violence in the land!
3 Kuwa sharka lahu waxay qalaad ku noqdaan uurkii hooyadood, Oo mar alla markii ay dhashaan ayay habaabaan iyagoo been sheegaya.
The wicked are estranged, from their very birth; The liars go astray as soon as they are born.
4 Suntoodu waa sida abeesada waabaydeeda oo kale, Iyagu waa sida jilbis dhega la' oo dhegihiisa fureeya,
They have poison, like the poison of a serpent; Like the deaf adder's, which stoppeth her ear;
5 Kaasoo aan maqlin codka saaxiriinta, Iyagoo si caqli ah u sixraya.
Which listeneth not to the voice of the charmer, And of the sorcerer, skilful in incantations.
6 Ilaahow, ilkahooda afkooda ku dhex burburi, Rabbiyow, libaaxyada aaranka ah miciyahooda jejebi.
Break their teeth, O God! in their mouths! Break out the great teeth of the lions, O LORD!
7 Ha u dhalaaleen sida biyo aad u durduraya. Markuu fallaadhihiisa wax ku liishaamo, ha noqdeen sida wax kala jabay.
May they melt like waters, which flow away; May their arrows, when they aim them, be as if cut in pieces!
8 Ha noqdeen sida alalaxayda dhalaasha oo iska baabba'da, Iyo sida dhicis naageed oo aan qorraxda arkin.
May they be like the snail, which melteth away as it goeth; Like the abortion of a woman, that seeth not the sun!
9 Intaan dheryihiinnu qodxaha taaban, Ayuu kuwa qoyan iyo kuwa ololayaba ku kala firdhin doonaa dabayl cirwareen ah.
Before your pots feel the heat of the thorns, Whether fresh, or burning, may they be blown away!
10 Kan xaqa ahu wuu rayrayn doonaa markuu arko aargudashada, Oo wuxuu ku cago maydhan doonaa kan sharka leh dhiiggiisa.
The righteous shall rejoice, when he seeth such vengeance; He shall bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 Sidaas daraaddeed dadku wuxuu odhan doonaa, Hubaal kii xaq ahu abaalgud buu leeyahay, Hubaal waxaa jira Ilaah dhulka xukuma.
Then shall men say, “Truly there is a reward for the righteous! Truly there is a God who is judge upon the earth!”
