< Sabuurradii 49 >
1 Dadyowga oo dhammow, bal tan maqla, Dunida kuwiinna degganow, kulligiin dhegta u dhiga,
“To the chief musician, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the perishable world:
2 Kuwiinna hoose iyo kuwiinna sare, Taajirrada iyo masaakiintoy, dhammaantiin wada maqla.
Both the sons of the low and the sons of the high, rich and needy, altogether.
3 Afkaygu wuxuu ku hadli doonaa xigmad, Qalbigayguna wuxuu ka fikiri doonaa waxgarasho.
My mouth shall speak wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
4 Dhegtayda waxaan u dhigi doonaa masaal, Xujadaydana waxaan ku muujin doonaa kataaradda.
I will incline my ear to a parable: I will open with the harp my riddle.
5 Haddaba bal maxaan u cabsanayaa wakhtiga shar jiro, Markii xumaanu cedhbahayga ku wareegsanto?
Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my oppressors encompasseth me?—
6 Kuwa maalkooda isku halleeya, Oo ku faana hodantinimadooda faraha badan,
Of those that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves of the multitude of their riches?
7 Midkoodna walaalkiis ma furan karo, Daraaddiisna Ilaah madaxfurasho uma siin karo,
No one can in any wise redeem his brother, nor can he give to God redemption money for himself;
8 (Waayo, furashada naftoodu waa qaali aad iyo aad, Kumana filna weligeedba, )
For the ransom of their soul is too costly, and it is omitted for ever.
9 Inuu isagu weligiis sii noolaado, Oo aanu halligaad arkin weligiis.
And should he still live for ever? not see the pit?
10 Waayo, isagu wuxuu arkaa inay dadka xigmadda lahu wada dhintaan, Iyo in nacasyada iyo doqonnaduba ay wada baabba'aan, Oo ay maalkooda kuwa kale uga tagaan.
For he must see that wise men die, that together the fool and the brutish person perish and leave to others their wealth.
11 Waxay ismoodsiiyaan inay guryahoodu weligoodba sii jirayaan, Iyo in meelaha rugtooda ahu ay sii raagayaan tan iyo qarniyada oo dhan, Oo dhulalkoodana way isku magacaabaan.
Their inward thought is, that their houses are to be for ever, their dwelling-places, from generation to generation; they call them by their own names in [various] countries.
12 Laakiinse binu-aadmigu sharaf kuma waaro, Wuxuu la mid yahay sida xayawaanka iska baabba'a.
Nevertheless man in [his] splendor endureth not: he is like the beasts [that] perish.
13 Jidkoodanu waa kalsoonidooda nacasnimada ah, Laakiinse dadka iyaga ka dambeeya ayaa hadalkoodii u boga. (Selaah)
This is their way, their folly: yet their posterity will take pleasure in their sayings. (Selah)
14 Iyagu waxaa weeye adhi She'ool loo wado, Oo waxaa sida adhijir u ahaan doona dhimasho, Oo kuwa qumman ayaa iyaga subaxda u talin doona, Oo quruxdoodana waxaa baabbi'in doona She'ool, inaanay iyagu rug yeelan innaba. (Sheol )
Like flocks are they thrust into the nether world; death will feed them; but the upright shall have dominion over them in that morning, and their form wasteth away in the nether world, [taken away] from their own dwelling. (Sheol )
15 Laakiinse Ilaah naftayda wuu ka soo furan doonaa xoogga She'ool, Waayo, wuu i aqbali doonaa. (Selaah) (Sheol )
But God will redeem my soul from the power of the nether world; for he will take me away. (Selah) (Sheol )
16 Ha baqin markii mid taajiroobo, Oo ammaanta reerkiisu aad u korodho,
Be not thou afraid when a man becometh rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
17 Waayo, isagu markuu dhinto waxba sii qaadan maayo, Oo ammaantiisuna ka daba geli mayso.
For when he dieth he can take nothing away; his glory will not descend after him.
18 In kastoo uu naftiisa u duceeyey markuu noolaa, Oo dad adiga ku ammaana, kolkaad wax wanaagsan isu samaysid,
For though he bless his soul during his life, and men praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself:
19 Isagu wuxuu u tegi doonaa qarniyadii awowayaashiis, Oo iyana weligood iftiinka ma ay arki doonaan.
She shall go to the generation of his fathers, unto eternity will these never see light.
20 Ninkii sharaf leh oo aan garaad lahaynu Wuxuu la mid yahay sida xayawaanka iska baabba'a.
Man, though in splendor, who understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish. °
