1 Kuwiinna carruurta Ilaah ahow, Rabbiga ammaana, Rabbiga ka sheega ammaan iyo xoog.
A Psalm of David. Give unto Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty ones, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;
2 Rabbiga ku ammaana ammaanta magiciisu mudan yahay, Rabbiga ku caabuda quruxda quduuska ah.
Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; worship Jehovah in holy splendour.
3 Rabbiga codkiisu wuxuu dul joogaa biyaha, Ilaaha ammaantu wuu onkodaa, Oo xataa Rabbigu wuxuu ka kor onkodaa biyo badan.
The voice of Jehovah is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, — Jehovah upon great waters.
4 Rabbiga codkiisu waa xoog badan yahay, Rabbiga codkiisu waa haybad badan yahay.
The voice of Jehovah is powerful; the voice of Jehovah is full of majesty.
5 Rabbiga codkiisu wuxuu jebiyaa geedaha kedarka ah, Haah, oo Rabbigu wuxuu kala jebjebiyaa geedaha kedarka ah oo Lubnaan.
The voice of Jehovah breaketh cedars; yea, Jehovah breaketh the cedars of Lebanon:
6 Oo weliba wuxuu iyaga ka dhigaa inay u boodboodaan sida weyl oo kale, Lubnaan iyo Siryonba wuxuu ka dhigaa sida gisi yar.
And he maketh them to skip like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion like a young buffalo.
7 Rabbiga codkiisu wuxuu googooyaa ololka dabka.
The voice of Jehovah cleaveth out flames of fire.
8 Rabbiga codkiisu wuxuu ruxruxaa cidlada, Rabbigu wuxuu ruxruxaa cidlada Qaadeesh.
The voice of Jehovah shaketh the wilderness; Jehovah shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 Rabbiga codkiisu wuxuu dhaliyaa deerooyinka, Oo kayntana caleemaha wuu ka daadiyaa, Oo wax kasta oo macbudkiisa ku jiraana waxay yidhaahdaan, Ammaan.
The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!
10 Rabbigu wuxuu dul fadhiyaa daadka, Haah, oo Rabbigu wuxuu weligiisba u fadhiyaa sida boqor oo kale.
Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.
11 Rabbigu dadkiisuu xoogayn doonaa, Oo Rabbigu nabad buu dadkiisa ku barakayn doonaa.
Jehovah will give strength unto his people; Jehovah will bless his people with peace.
