1 Rabbigaa iska leh dhulka iyo waxa ka buuxa oo dhan, Iyo dunida iyo kuwa degganba.

For the First Sabbath. A Psalm of David. The earth and all its fullness belong to the Lord: the whole world and all that dwells in it.

2 Waayo, isagaa badaha dushooda ka aasaasay, Oo wuxuu ka dul dhisay webiyaasha.

For he has founded it upon the seas, and he has prepared it upon the rivers.

3 Bal yaa fuuli doona Rabbiga buurtiisa? Oo bal yaa dhex istaagi doona meeshiisa quduuska ah?

Who will ascend to the mountain of the Lord? And who will stand in his holy place?

4 Waa kii gacmihiisu nadiifsan yihiin, oo qalbigiisu daahir yahay, Oo aan naftiisa hawo been ah kor ugu qaadin, Oo aan si khiyaano leh u dhaaran.

The innocent of hands and the clean of heart, who has not received his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor.

5 Kaasu wuxuu Rabbiga ka heli doonaa barako, Ilaaha badbaadadiisana xaqnimo.

He will receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God, his Savior.

6 Kanu waxaa weeye qarnigii kuwa isaga doondoona, Oo waa kuwa wejigaaga doondoona, Ilaaha Yacquubow. (Selaah)

This is the generation that seeks him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.

7 Irdahow, madaxiinna kor u qaada, Oo albaabbada daa'imiska ahow, kor ha laydiin qaado, Oo waxaa soo geli doona Boqorka ammaanta.

Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.

8 Bal waa ayo Boqorka ammaantu? Waa Rabbiga xoog iyo itaal badan, Waa Rabbiga dagaalka ku xoog badan.

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord who is strong and powerful; the Lord powerful in battle.

9 Irdahow, madaxiinna kor u qaada, Oo albaabbada daa'imiska ahow, madaxiinna kor u qaada, Oo waxaa soo geli doona Boqorka ammaanta.

Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.

10 Bal waa ayo Boqorkan ammaantu? Waa Rabbiga ciidammada, Isaga weeye Boqorka ammaantu. (Selaah)

Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of virtue. He himself is the King of Glory.
