1 Rabbiyow, boqorku wuxuu ku farxi doonaa xooggaaga, Oo badbaadintaadana aad buu ugu rayrayn doonaa.

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of David.” The king rejoiceth in thy strength, O LORD! Yea, he doth greatly exult in thy protection.

2 Waxaad isaga siisay wixii qalbigiisu doonayay, Oo wixii bushimihiisu ku weyddiisteenna uma aad diidin. (Selaah)

Thou hast given him his heart's desire, And hast not denied him the request of his lips. (Pause)

3 Waayo, waxaad isaga hor dhigtaa barakooyinka wanaagga, Oo madaxiisana waxaad saartaa taaj dahab saafi ah.

Yea, thou hast met him with rich blessings, Thou hast placed a crown of pure gold upon his head.

4 Wuxuu kaa baryay nolol, oo adna waad siisay isaga, Oo waxaad siisay cimri dheer oo waaraya weligiis iyo weligiisba.

He asked life of thee; thou gavest it him; Even long life, enduring for ever.

5 Ammaantiisu waxay ku weyn tahay xagga badbaadintaada, Oo waxaad isaga saartaa murwad iyo haybad.

Great is his glory through thine aid; Honor and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

6 Waayo, waxaad isaga ka dhigtaa mid weligiisba aad u barakaysan, Oo waxaad ka dhigtaa inuu hortaada farxad kula reyreeyo.

Thou hast made him blessed for evermore; Thou hast made him glad with the joy of thy countenance.

7 Waayo, boqorku wuxuu isku halleeyaa Rabbiga, Oo Ilaaha ugu sarreeya raxmaddiisa aawadeed isaga innaba lama dhaqaajin doono.

For the king trusteth in the LORD; And through the goodness of the Most High he shall never fall.

8 Gacantaadu waxay heli doontaa cadaawayaashaada oo dhan, Oo midigtaaduna waxay heli doontaa kuwa ku neceb.

Thy hand shall overtake all thine enemies; Thy right hand shall overtake them that hate thee.

9 Oo markii aad cadhootid waxaad iyaga ka dhigi doontaa sida foorno dab ah. Oo Rabbigu wuxuu iyaga ku liqi doonaa cadhadiisa, Oo dab baa gubi doona.

Thou wilt make them like a burning oven in the time of thine anger; Jehovah shall swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.

10 Midhahooda dhulkaad ka baabbi'inaysaa, Farcankoodana binu-aadmiga dhexdiisa.

Their offspring shalt thou destroy from the earth, And their posterity from the sons of men.

11 Waayo, iyagu waxay ku talo jireen inay xumaan kugu sameeyaan, Oo waxay hindiseen xeel ayan iyagu dhammayn karin.

For they spread a net of mischief against thee; They devised plots against thee, but they did not prevail.

12 Waayo, waxaad iyaga ka dhigi doontaa inay dib u jeestaan, Oo xadhigga qaansadaadana waxaad ku diyaarin doontaa wejigooda hortiisa.

Therefore thou wilt cause them to turn their backs; Thou wilt make ready thine arrows upon the strings against them.

13 Rabbiyow, adigu xooggaaga ku sarree, Markaasaannu gabyi doonnaa, oo waxaannu ammaani doonnaa itaalkaaga.

Exalt thyself, O LORD! by thy strength! So will we sing, and praise thy mighty deeds.
