Sabuurradii 18
1 Rabbiyow, xooggaygiiyow, anigu waan ku jeclahay.
For the end, [a Psalm] of David, the servant of the Lord; [the words] which he spoke to the Lord, [even] the words of this Song, in the day in which the Lord delivered him out the hand of all his enemies, and out the hand of Saul: and he said: I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 Rabbigu waa dhagax weyn oo ii gabbaad ah iyo qalcaddayda, iyo samatabbixiyahayga, Iyo Ilaahay, iyo gabbaadkayga adag, oo isagaan isku hallayn doonaa, Isagu waa gaashaankayga, iyo geeska badbaadadayda, iyo munaaraddayda dheer.
The Lord is my firm support, and my refuge, and my deliverer; my God is my helper, I will hope in him; [he is] my defender, and the horn of my salvation, and my helper.
3 Waxaan baryayaa Rabbiga istaahila in la ammaano, Oo sidaasaan cadaawayaashayda kaga badbaadi doonaa.
I will call upon the Lord with praises, and I shall be saved from mine enemies.
4 Waxaa i hareereeyey xadhkihii dhimashada, Oo waxaa i cabsiiyey daadkii cibaadala'aanta.
The pangs of death compassed me, and the torrents of ungodliness troubled me exceedingly.
The pangs of hell came round about me: the snares of death prevented me. (Sheol h7585)
6 Anigoo cidhiidhi ku jira ayaan Rabbiga baryay, Oo waxaan u qayshaday Ilaahay, Isna codkayguu macbudkiisa ka maqlay, Oo qayladayda hortiisa ka yeedhaysaana dhegihiisay gashay.
And when I was afflicted I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of this holy temple, and my cry shall enter before him, [even] into his ears.
7 Markaasaa dhulku ruxmay oo gariiray, Oo buuraha aasaaskoodiina wuu dhaqdhaqaaqay, Oo wuu ruxmay, maxaa yeelay, Ilaah waa cadhaysnaa.
Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains were disturbed, and were shaken, because God was angry with them.
8 Dulalka sankiisa waxaa ka soo baxay qiiq, Afkiisana waxaa ka soo baxay dab wax gubaya, oo dhuxulaa ka shidmay isaga.
There went up a smoke in his wrath, and fire burst into a flame at his presence: coals were kindled at it.
9 Oo weliba samooyinka wuu soo foorarshay, oo hoos buu u soo degay, Oo cagihiisana waxaa hoos yiil gudcur weyn.
And he bowed the heaven, and came down: and thick darkness was under his feet.
10 Oo wuxuu fuulay keruub, wuuna duulay, Haah, oo wuxuu si dheeraysa ugu duulay oo fuulay dabaysha baalasheeda.
And he mounted on cherubs and flew: he flew on the wings of winds.
11 Wuxuu gudcurka ka dhigtay meeshiisii dhuumashada, iyo taambuuggiisa hareerihiisa ku wareegsan, Iyo biyo gudcur ah, iyo daruuraha qarada waaweyn oo cirka.
And he made darkness his secret place: round about him was his tabernacle, [even] dark water in the clouds of the air.
12 Nuurkii hortiisa yiil aawadiis ayay daruurihii qarada waaweynaa tageen, Roobkii dhagaxyada lahaa iyo dhuxulihii dabka ahaana way carareen.
At the brightness before him the clouds passed, hail and coals of fire.
13 Rabbiguna wuxuu ka onkoday samooyinka, Sarreeyuhuna wuxuu ku hadlay codkiisii, Oo soo daayay roob dhagaxyaale iyo dhuxulo dab ah.
The Lord also thundered from heaven, and the Highest uttered his voice.
14 Markaasuu fallaadhihiisii soo ganay oo kala firdhiyey iyagii, Haah, oo wuxuu u soo diray hillaac badan, wuuna baabbi'iyey iyagii.
And he sent forth [his] weapons, and scattered them; and multiplied lightnings, and routed them.
15 Rabbiyow, canaantaadii aawadeed iyo dulalka sankaaga neefta ka soo baxaysa aawadeed Ayaa durdurradii biyuhu la muuqdeen, Oo aasaaskii duniduna wuu soo bannaan baxay.
And the springs of waters appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed, at thy rebuke, O Lord, at the blasting of the breath of thy wrath.
16 Xagga sare ayuu cid ka soo diray, oo wuu i qaaday, Oo wuxuu iga soo dhex bixiyey biyo badan.
He sent from on high and took me, he drew me to himself out of many waters.
17 Wuxuu iga samatabbixiyey cadowgaygii xoogga badnaa, Iyo kuwii i necbaaba, waayo, iyagu way iga xoog badnaayeen.
He will deliver me from my mighty enemies, and from them that hate me; for they are stronger than I.
18 Waxay igu soo kediyeen maalintii aan belaayaysnaa, Laakiinse Rabbigu wuxuu ii ahaa tiir.
They prevented me in the day of mine affliction: but the Lord was my stay against [them].
19 Oo weliba wuxuu i keenay meel ballaadhan, Wuu i soo samatabbixiyey, maxaa yeelay, wuu igu farxay.
And he brought me out into a wide place: he will deliver me, because he has pleasure in me.
20 Rabbigu wuxuu iigu abaalguday sidii ay xaqnimadaydii ahayd, Oo sidii ay nadiifsanaantii gacmahaygu ahayd ayuu iigu abaalguday.
And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands will he recompense me.
21 Waayo, anigu waan xajiyey jidadkii Rabbiga, Oo Ilaahayna si caasinimo ah ugama tegin.
For I have kept the way of the Lord and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 Waayo, xukummadiisii oo dhammu hortayday yiilleen, Oo qaynuunnadiisiina anigu iskama tuurin.
For all his judgments were before me, and his ordinances departed not from me.
23 Oo weliba xaggiisana waan ku qummanaa, Oo waan iska dhawray xumaantaydii.
And I shall be blameless with hem, and shall keep myself from mine iniquity.
24 Sidaas daraaddeed ayaa Rabbigu iigu abaalguday sidii ay xaqnimadaydii ahayd, Iyo sidii nadiifsanaanta gacmahaygu ay ku ahayd indhihiisa hortooda.
And the Lord shall recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands before his eyes.
25 Kii naxariis leh waad u naxariisanaysaa, Oo ninkii qummanna waad u qummanaanaysaa.
With the holy thou wilt be holy; and with the innocent man thou wilt be innocent.
26 Kii daahir ahna daahir baad u ahaanaysaa, Oo kii qalloocanna mid maroorsan baad u ahaanaysaa.
And with the excellent [man] thou wilt be excellent; and with the perverse thou wilt shew frowardness.
27 Waayo, waxaad badbaadinaysaa dadka dhibaataysan, Laakiinse indhaha kibirsan waad soo dejinaysaa.
For thou wilt save the lowly people, and wilt humble the eyes of the proud.
28 Waayo, waxaad daaraysaa laambaddayda, Rabbiga Ilaahayga ah ayaa gudcurkayga iftiiminaya.
For thou, O Lord, wilt light my lamp: my God, thou wilt lighten my darkness.
29 Waayo, adaan col kuugu dhex ordaa, Oo Ilaahay caawimaaddiisa ayaan derbi kaga boodaa.
For by thee shall I be delivered from a troop; and by my God I will pass over a wall.
30 Ilaah jidkiisu waa qumman yahay, Rabbiga eraygiisuna waa mid la tijaabiyey, Isagu wuxuu gaashaan u yahay kuwa isaga isku halleeya oo dhan.
[As for] my God, his way is perfect: the oracles of the Lord are tried in the fire; he is a protector of all them that hope in him.
31 Waayo, bal yaa Ilaah ah, Rabbiga mooyaane? Oo bal yaa dhagax weyn ah, Ilaahayaga mooyaane?
For who is God but the Lord? and who is a God except our God?
32 Kaasoo ah Ilaaha ii guntiya xoog, Jidkaygana qummaatiya.
[It is] God that girds me with strength, and has made my way blameless:
33 Isagu cagahayga wuxuu ka dhigaa sida cagaha deerada, Oo wuxuu igu fadhiisiyaa meelahayga sare.
who strengthens my feet as hart's feet, and sets me upon high places.
34 Gacmahaygana wuxuu baraa dagaalka, Oo sidaas daraaddeed gacmahaygu waxay xoodaan qaanso naxaas ah.
He instructs my hands for war: and thou hast made my arms [as] a brazen bow.
35 Weliba waxaad kaloo i siisay gaashaankii badbaadintaada, Oo waxaa kor ii qaadday gacantaada midig, Oo roonaantaada ayaa i weynaysay.
And thou hast made me secure in my salvation: and thy right hand has helped me, and thy correction has upheld me to the end; yea, thy correction itself shall instruct me.
36 Adigu tallaabooyinkayga waxaad ku ballaadhisay hoostayda, Oo cagahayguna ma ay simbiriirixan.
Thou has made room for my goings under me, and by footsteps did not fail.
37 Anigu waxaan eryan doonaa cadaawayaashayda, oo waan gaadhi doonaa, Oo jeeray wada baabba'aanna dib uga soo noqon maayo.
I will pursue mine enemies, and overtake them; and I will not turn back until they are consumed.
38 Waan wada layn doonaa si aanay mar dambe u awoodin inay kacaan, Oo cagahaygay ku soo hoos dhici doonaan.
I will dash them to pieces and they shall not be able to stand: they shall fall under my feet.
39 Waayo, xoog baad iigu guntisay dagaalka aawadiis, Oo kuwii igu kacayna hoostaydaad ku soo tuurtay.
For thou hast girded me with strength for war: thou hast beaten down under me all that rose up against me.
40 Oo weliba cadaawayaashaydii waxaad ka dhigtay inay dhabarka ii jeediyaan, Si aan u kala gooyo kuwa i neceb.
And thou has made mine enemies turn their backs before me; and thou hast destroyed them that hated me.
41 Iyagu way qayshadeen, laakiinse way waayeen mid iyaga badbaadiya, Oo xataa Rabbiga way baryeen, laakiinse uma uu jawaabin.
They cried, but there was no deliverer: [even] to the Lord, but he hearkened not to them.
42 Markaasaan iyagii u duqeeyey sida boodhka dabaysha hor kaca, Oo waxaan iyagii dibadda ugu tuuray sidii dhoobada jidadka taal oo kale.
I will grind them as the mud of the streets: and I will beat them small as dust before the wind.
43 Waxaad iga samatabbixisay murankii dadka, Oo waxaad iga dhigtay quruumaha madaxdoodii, Oo dad aanan aqoon ayaa ii adeegi doona.
Deliver me from the gain sayings of the people: thou shalt make me head of the Gentiles: a people whom I knew not served me,
44 Oo mar alla markii ay warkayga maqlaan way i addeeci doonaan, Oo shisheeyayaashuna way isu kay dhiibi doonaan,
at the hearing of the ear they obeyed me: the strange children lied to me.
45 Shisheeyayaashu way libdhi doonaan, Oo iyagoo gariiraya ayay qolalkooda ka soo bixi doonaan.
The strange children waxed old, and fell away from their paths through lameness.
46 Rabbigu waa nool yahay, oo mahad waxaa leh dhagaxayga weyn, Oo Ilaaha i badbaadiyeyna ha sarreeyo,
The Lord lives; and blessed [be] my God; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 Kaasoo ah Ilaaha aniga ii aarguda, Oo dadkana hoostayda ku soo tuura.
[It is] God that avenges me, and has subdued the nations under me;
48 Isagu wuxuu iga badbaadiyaa cadaawayaashayda, Haah, oo adigu waxaad iga sara marisaa kuwa igu kaca, Oo waxaad iga samatabbixisaa ninka dulmiga badan.
my deliverer from angry enemies: thou shalt set me on high above them that rise up against me: thou shalt deliver me from the unrighteous man.
49 Sidaas daraaddeed, Rabbiyow, anigu waxaan kuugu mahadnaqi doonaa quruumaha dhexdooda, Oo magacaaga ammaan baan ugu gabyi doonaa.
Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and sing to thy name.
50 Rabbigu si weyn buu boqorkiisa u samatabbixiyaa, Oo wuxuu weligiis raxmad u sameeyaa kii uu subkaday, Kaasoo ah Daa'uud, iyo farcankiisaba weligiis iyo weligiis.
[God] magnifies the deliverances of his king; and deals mercifully with David his anointed, and his seed, for ever.
