< Sabuurradii 16 >

1 Ilaahow, i dhawr, waayo, adigaan isku kaa halleeyaa.
A michtam of David. Keep me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2 Waxaan Rabbiga ku idhi, Sayidkayga baad tahay, Oo innaba wanaag ma haysto la'aantaa.
I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, my happiness rests in you alone.
3 Quduusiinta dhulka joogtaa Waxaa weeye kuwa sharafta leh oo aan aad iyo aad ula faraxsanahay.
Those who are holy in the land, they, they alone, are the noble ones; all my delight is in them.”
4 Kuwa ilaaha kale u dheereeya murugtoodu waa badnaan doontaa, Laakiinse anigu bixin maayo qurbaankooda cabniinka oo dhiigga ah, Oo magacyadoodana bushimahayga ku soo qaadi maayo.
Those who choose other gods find endless sorrow. In their offerings of blood I will have no part nor take their name on my lips.
5 Rabbigu waxaa weeye qaybtii dhaxalkayga iyo koobkayga, Adigu qaybtayda waad xannaanaysaa.
The Lord is my share and my portion, my fate is in your strong hands.
6 Dhulqaybsigii meelo wacan baan ku helay, Haah, oo waxaan leeyahay dhaxal wanaagsan.
The boundary lines of my life mark out delightful country, my heritage pleases me well.
7 Anigu waxaan ammaanayaa Rabbiga i waaniyey, Habeenkiina uurkaygu wax buu i baraa.
I praise the Lord for his counsel, which so stirs my heart in the night.
8 Had iyo jeerba Rabbigaan hortayda ku xusuustaa, Oo anigu innaba dhaqdhaqaaqi maayo, Maxaa yeelay, isagu wuxuu joogaa midigtayda.
I keep the Lord always in mind: with him at my hand, I can never be moved.
9 Taas aawadeed qalbigaygu waa faraxsan yahay oo naftayduna way rayraysaa, Oo weliba jidhkayguna ammaan buu ku jiri doonaa.
So my heart is glad, there is joy inside me; and in safety of body I live.
10 Maxaa yeelay, naftayda She'ool kuma dayn doontid, Kaaga quduuska ahna uma dayn doontid inuu qudhun arko. (Sheol h7585)
For you will not give me up to Sheol nor let any who love you see the pit. (Sheol h7585)
11 Waxaad i tusi doontaa jidka nolosha, Hortaada farxad baa ka buuxda, Gacantaada midigna nimco baa ku jirta weligeed.
You will show me the path that leads to life, to that fulness of joy which is in your presence, and the pleasures dispensed by your hand evermore.
