1 Rabbiga ammaana. Waayo, way wanaagsan tahay in Ilaaheenna ammaan loogu gabyo, Waayo, taasu way wacan tahay, oo ammaantuna way habboon tahay.
Praise ye the Lord, for it is good to sing vnto our God: for it is a pleasant thing, and praise is comely.
2 Rabbigu Yeruusaalem buu dhisaa, Oo wuxuu isu soo wada ururiyaa kuwa la naco oo reer binu Israa'iil ah.
The Lord doth builde vp Ierusalem, and gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 Isagaa bogsiiya kuwa qalbi jabay, Oo nabrahoodana wuu duubaa.
He healeth those that are broken in heart, and bindeth vp their sores.
4 Wuxuu sheegaa xiddigaha tiradooda, Oo kulligoodna magacyo buu u bixiyaa.
He counteth the nomber of the starres, and calleth them all by their names.
5 Sayidkeennu waa weyn yahay, wuuna xoog badan yahay, Waxgarashadiisuna waa mid aan la koobi karayn.
Great is our Lord, and great is his power: his wisdome is infinite.
6 Rabbigu wuu tiiriyaa kuwa camalka qabow, Oo kuwa sharka lehna dhulkuu ku soo tuuraa.
The Lord relieueth the meeke, and abaseth the wicked to the ground.
7 Rabbiga mahadnaqid ugu gabya, Oo kataaradda ammaan ugu gabya Ilaaheenna,
Sing vnto the Lord with prayse: sing vpon the harpe vnto our God,
8 Kaasoo samada daruuro ku qariya, Oo dhulka roob u diyaarsha, Buurahana doog ka soo bixiya.
Which couereth the heauen with cloudes, and prepareth raine for the earth, and maketh the grasse to growe vpon the mountaines:
9 Wuxuu quud siiyaa xayawaanka, Iyo tukayaasha yaryar markay qayliyaanba.
Which giueth to beasts their foode, and to the yong rauens that crie.
10 Isagu kuma farxo xoogga faraska, Oo kuma reyreeyo lugaha dadka.
He hath not pleasure in the strength of an horse, neither delighteth he in the legs of man.
11 Rabbigu wuxuu ku reyreeyaa kuwa isaga ka cabsada, Iyo kuwa naxariistiisa rajada ka qaba.
But the Lord deliteth in them that feare him, and attende vpon his mercie.
12 Yeruusaalemay, Rabbiga ammaan, Siyoonay, Ilaahaaga ammaan.
Prayse the Lord, O Ierusalem: prayse thy God, O Zion.
13 Waayo, wuxuu xoogeeyey qataarrada irdahaaga, Carruurtaadana wuu kugu dhex barakeeyey.
For he hath made the barres of thy gates strong, and hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 Soohdimahaaga nabad buu ka dhigaa, Oo wuxuu kaa dhergiyaa sarreenka ugu wanaagsan.
He setteth peace in thy borders, and satisfieth thee with the floure of wheate.
15 Amarkiisa wuxuu u soo diraa dhulka, Eraygiisuna aad buu u dheereeyaa.
He sendeth foorth his commandement vpon earth, and his worde runneth very swiftly.
16 Baraf cad wuxuu u soo daadshaa sida dhogor oo kale, Sayax barafoobayna wuxuu u kala firdhiyaa sida dambas oo kale.
He giueth snowe like wooll, and scattereth the hoare frost like ashes.
17 Barafkiisa wuxuu u soo ridaa sida jajab oo kale, Bal yaa qabowgiisa hor istaagi kara?
He casteth foorth his yce like morsels: who can abide the colde thereof?
18 Wuxuu soo diraa eraygiisa, oo wuu dhalaaliyaa iyaga, Dabayshiisana wuxuu ka dhigaa inay dhacdo, biyuhuna way qulqulaan.
He sendeth his worde and melteth them: he causeth his winde to blowe, and the waters flowe.
19 Eraygiisa wuxuu tusaa reer Yacquub, Qaynuunnadiisa iyo xukummadiisana reer binu Israa'iil.
He sheweth his word vnto Iaakob, his statutes and his iudgements vnto Israel.
20 Quruunna sidaas oo kale uma uu samayn. Xukummadiisiina ma ay garanaynin, Rabbiga ammaana.
He hath not dealt so with euery nation, neither haue they knowen his iudgements. Prayse ye the Lord.
