1 Nacasku wuxuu qalbigiisa iska yidhaahdaa, Ilaah ma jiro. Iyagu way kharriban yihiin, oo waxay sameeyeen shuqullo karaahiyo ah, Ma jiro mid wanaag sameeya.
To the Chief Musician. David’s. The impious hath said in his heart—There is no God! They have acted corruptly, they have done an abominable deed, there is none that doeth good.
2 Rabbigu samaduu ka soo fiiriyey binu-aadmiga, Inuu arko haddii ay jiraan kuwo wax garanaya, Oo Ilaah doondoona.
Yahweh, out of the heavens, looked down over the sons of men, —to see whether there was one that showed wisdom, enquiring after God: —
3 Dhammaantood gees bay u wada leexdeen, oo way wada nijaasoobeen, Mid wanaag falaa ma jiro, midnaba.
The whole, have turned aside, Together have they become tainted, —There is none that doeth good, not so much as, one!
4 Xumaanfalayaasha oo dhammu miyaanay aqoon lahayn? Iyagoo dadkayga cuna, siday kibista u cunaan, Mana ay baryaan Rabbiga.
Are all the workers of iniquity, without knowledge? devouring my people [as] they devour food! Upon Yahweh, have they not called.
5 Halkaasay aad ugu cabsadeen, Maxaa yeelay, Ilaah wuxuu la jiraa qarniga xaqa ah.
There have they been in great dread, because, God, is in the circle of the righteous man.
6 Idinku waxaad ceebaysaan talada miskiinka, Laakiin Rabbigu waa magangalkiisa.
The purpose of the poor, ye would put to shame, because, Yahweh, is his refuge.
7 Badbaadada reer binu Israa'iil bal may Siyoon ka timaado! Marka Rabbigu dadkiisa maxaabiisnimada ka soo celiyo, Ayaa reer Yacquub rayrayn doonaa, oo reer binu Israa'iilna farxi doonaa.
Oh that, out of Zion, were granted the salvation of Israel! When Yahweh bringeth back the captives of his people, Jacob, shall exult, Israel, be glad.
