1 Rabbiyow, bal xusuuso Daa'uud Dhibaatooyinkiisii oo dhan,
A song of degrees. Lord, remember Dauid with all his affliction.
2 Iyo siduu Rabbiga ugu dhaartay, Oo nidar ugu galay Ilaaha Xoogga leh oo Yacquub, isagoo leh,
Who sware vnto the Lord, and vowed vnto the mightie God of Iaakob, saying,
3 Hubaal anigu geli maayo teendhada gurigayga, Sariirtaydana fuuli maayo,
I will not enter into the tabernacle of mine house, nor come vpon my pallet or bed,
4 Indhahayga seexasho isugu qaban maayo, Il iyo baalna isu keeni maayo,
Nor suffer mine eyes to sleepe, nor mine eye lids to slumber,
5 Ilaa aan meel u helo Rabbiga, Oo aan taambuug u helo Kan Xoogga leh oo Yacquub.
Vntill I finde out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mightie God of Iaakob.
6 Bal eeg, annagu waxaan ku maqalnay Efraataah, Oo waxaan ka helnay berrinkii duurka.
Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah, and found it in the fieldes of the forest.
7 Waxaan geli doonnaa taambuugyadiisa, Oo waxaan ku sujuudi doonnaa meeshuu cagaha saarto.
We will enter into his Tabernacles, and worship before his footestoole.
8 Rabbiyow, sara joogso, oo meeshaada nasashada gal, Adiga iyo sanduuqa xooggaaguba.
Arise, O Lord, to come into thy rest, thou, and the Arke of thy strength.
9 Wadaaddadaadu xaqnimo ha huwadeen, Quduusiintaaduna farxad ha la qayliyeen.
Let thy Priests be clothed with righteousnesse, and let thy Saints reioyce.
10 Addoonkaagii Daa'uud daraaddiis Ha sii jeedin kaaga subkan wejigiisa.
For thy seruant Dauids sake refuse not the face of thine Anointed.
11 Rabbigu run buu Daa'uud ugu dhaartay, Oo dhaartiisiina ka soo noqon maayo, Midhaha jidhkaaga midkood ayaan carshigaaga ku fadhiisin doonaa.
The Lord hath sworne in trueth vnto Dauid, and he wil not shrinke from it, saying, Of the fruite of thy body will I set vpon thy throne.
12 Carruurtaadu hadday xajiyaan axdigayga Iyo markhaatifurkayga aan iyaga bari doono, De markaas carruurtooduna weligood bay ku fadhiisan doonaan carshigaaga.
If thy sonnes keepe my couenant, and my testimonies, that I shall teach them, their sonnes also shall sit vpon thy throne for euer.
13 Waayo, Rabbigu wuu doortay Siyoon, Oo wuxuu u jeclaystay inuu rugtiisii ka dhigto.
For the Lord hath chosen Zion, and loued to dwell in it, saying,
14 Halkanu waa meeshaydii nasashada weligeedba, Halkanaan degganaan doonaa, waayo, waan jeclaystay.
This is my rest for euer: here will I dwell, for I haue a delite therein.
15 Waxaan iyada aad iyo aad ugu barakayn doonaa quud, Oo masaakiinteeda waxaan ka dhergin doonaa cunto.
I will surely blesse her vitailes, and will satisfie her poore with bread,
16 Wadaaddadeedana waxaan huwin doonaa badbaado, Quduusiinteeduna aad bay ula qaylin doonaan farxad.
And will clothe her Priests with saluation, and her Saints shall shoute for ioye.
17 Halkaas waxaan ka dhigi doonaa in gees Daa'uud u soo baxo, Waxaan laambad u diyaariyey kii aan subkaday.
There will I make the horne of Dauid to bud: for I haue ordeined a light for mine Anoynted.
18 Cadaawayaashiisa waxaan huwin doonaa ceeb, Laakiinse taajkiisu madaxiisuu ku waari doonaa.
His enemies will I clothe with shame, but on him his crowne shall florish.
