1 Kuwa Rabbiga isku halleeyaa Waa sida Buur Siyoon oo aan la dhaqaajin karin, laakiinse weligeedba sii jirta.

Those/We who trust in Yahweh are [as secure/steadfast] [SIM] as Zion Hill, which cannot be shaken and can never be moved.

2 Sida buuruhu Yeruusaalem ugu wareegsan yihiin Ayuu Rabbigu dadkiisa ugu wareegsan yahay, Hadda intii ka bilaabata iyo tan iyo weligeedba.

Like the hills that surround Jerusalem [protect the city], Yahweh protects [us], his people, and he will protect us forever.

3 Waayo, usha xumaantu ku dhici mayso qaybta kuwa xaqa ah, Si aan kuwa xaqa ahu gacmahooda xumaan ugu soo fidin.

Wicked people [MTY] should not [be allowed to] rule over the land where righteous [people] live. If they did that, those righteous [people] might [(be encouraged to imitate them and]) do things that are wrong.

4 Rabbiyow, kuwa wanaagsan wanaag u samee, Iyo weliba kuwa qalbigoodu qumman yahay.

Yahweh, do good things to those who do good things to others and to those who sincerely obey your commands [IDM].

5 Laakiinse kuwa geesta ugu leexda jidadkooda qalloocan Rabbigu wuxuu iyaga la kaxayn doonaa xumaanfalayaasha. Reer binu Israa'iil korkooda nabadu ha ahaato.

But when you punish the wicked people [who are not Israelis], also punish those [Israelis] who turn away from walking on the good roads [MET] that you have shown them! I wish that things will go well for [people in] Israel!
