1 Buurahaan indhahayga ku taagi doonaa, Caawimaaddaydu xaggee bay ka iman doontaa?

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” I lift up mine eyes to the hills: Whence cometh my help?

2 Caawimaaddaydu waxay ka timaadaa Rabbiga sameeyey samada iyo dhulka.

My help cometh from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

3 Isagu uma oggolaan doono in cagtaada la dhaqaajiyo, Kan ku dhawraa ma gam'i doono.

He will not suffer thy foot to stumble; Thy guardian doth not slumber.

4 Bal eeg, kan reer binu Israa'iil dhawraa Ma gam'i doono, mana seexan doono.

Behold, the guardian of Israel Doth neither slumber nor sleep.

5 Kan ku dhawraa waa Rabbiga, Rabbigu waa hooskaaga midigtaada taagan.

The LORD is thy guardian; The LORD is thy shade at thy right hand.

6 Qorraxdu maalinta waxba kuma yeeli doonto. Habeenkana dayaxu waxba kuma yeeli doono.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.

7 Rabbiga ayaa kaa dhawri doona shar kasta, Isagu wuxuu dhawri doonaa naftaada.

The LORD will preserve thee from all evil; He will preserve thy life.

8 Hadda intii ka bilaabata iyo tan iyo weligeedba Rabbigu wuxuu dhawri doonaa bixiddaada iyo soo geliddaadaba.

The LORD will preserve thee, when thou goest out and when thou comest in, From this time forth for ever.
