1 Rabbiga waan jeclahay, maxaa yeelay, wuxuu maqlay Codkaygii iyo baryootankaygii.

It is lovely to me that the Lord heareth my voice, my supplications.

2 Dhegtuu ii dhigay, Sidaas daraaddeed isagaan baryi doonaa intaan noolahay oo dhan.

For he hath inclined his ear unto me: therefore throughout all my days will I call on him.

3 Xadhkihii dhimashada ayaa i hareereeyey, Xanuunkii She'oolna waa i qabsaday. Oo waxaan la kulmay dhib iyo murug. (Sheol h7585)

The bands of death had compassed me, and the pangs of the nether world had overtaken me; I had met with distress and sorrow: (Sheol h7585)

4 Markaasaan ku baryootamay magaca Rabbiga, Anigoo leh, Rabbiyow, naftayda samatabbixi.

I then called on the name of the Lord, I beseech thee, O Lord, release my soul.

5 Rabbigu waa nimco miidhan, waana xaq, Haah, oo Ilaaheennu waa naxariis badan yahay.

Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; and our God is merciful.

6 Rabbigu kuwa garaadka daran wuu dhawraa, Hoos baa la ii soo dejiyey, kolkaasuu i badbaadshay.

The Lord preserveth the simple: I was in misery, and he helped me.

7 Naftaydoy, nasashadaadii ku noqo, Waayo, Rabbigu wax badan oo wanaagsan buu kuu sameeyey.

Return, O my soul, unto thy rest; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8 Waayo, naftayda waxaad ka samatabbixisay dhimasho, Indhahaygana ilmo, Cagahaygana kufid.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.

9 Waxaan ku socon doonaa Rabbiga hortiisa Anigoo dhex jooga dalka kuwa nool.

I will walk before the Lord in the land of life.

10 Waan rumaysnaa, oo markaan hadlay Aad baa la ii dhibay,

I believe, therefore will I speak: I was greatly afflicted;

11 Anigoo degdegsan baan waxaan idhi, Dadka oo dhammu waa beenaalayaal.

I indeed said in my despondency, Every man is a liar.

12 Bal maxaan Rabbiga uga celiyaa Waxyaalihii uu ii taray oo dhan?

What shall I give in return unto the Lord for all his bounties toward me?

13 Waxaan qaadan doonaa koobka badbaadada, Oo magaca Rabbiga ayaan ku baryootami doonaa.

The cup of salvation will I lift up, and on the name of the Lord will I call.

14 Rabbiga ayaan u oofin doonaa nidarradaydii, Oo weliba waxaan ku bixin doonaa dadkiisa oo dhan hortooda.

My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people.

15 Rabbiga hortiisa dhimashada quduusiintiisa Ayaa qiimo weyn ku leh.

Grievous in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his pious ones.

16 Rabbiyow, sida runta ah waxaan ahay addoonkaaga, Waxaan ahay addoonkaaga, oo ah wiilka addoontaada, Silsiladahaygii waad iga furtay.

O Lord, truly am I thy servant, I am thy servant, —the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosened my fetters.

17 Waxaan kuu soo bixin doonaa allabarigii mahadnaqidda, Oo magaca Rabbiga ayaan ku baryootami doonaa.

Unto thee will I offer the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and on the name of the Lord will I call.

18 Rabbiga ayaan u oofin doonaa nidarradaydii, Oo weliba waxaan ku bixin doonaa dadkiisa oo dhan hortooda,

My vows will I pay unto the Lord, yea, in the presence of all his people,

19 Iyo guriga Rabbiga barxadihiisa, Iyo dhexdaada, Yeruusaalemay. Rabbiga ammaana.

In the courts of the house of the Lord, in thy midst, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah.
