1 Kuwa sharka lahu waxay cararaan iyadoo aan ciduna eryanayn, Laakiinse kuwa xaqa ahu waxay u dhiirran yihiin sida libaax oo kale.
The impious flees, though no one pursues. But the just, like a confident lion, shall be without dread.
2 Waddan xadgudubkiisa aawadiis amiirradu way badan yihiin, Laakiinse ninkii waxgarasho iyo aqoon leh dowladdiisu way sii raagtaa.
Because of the sins of the land, it has many princes. And because of the wisdom of a man, and the knowledge of those things that are said, the life of the leader shall be prolonged.
3 Miskiin masaakiinta dulmaa Waa sida roob dhulka xaadha oo aan cunto ka tegin.
A poor man slandering the poor is like a violent rainstorm in advance of a famine.
4 Kuwa sharciga ka tagaa waxay ammaanaan kuwa sharka leh, Laakiinse kuwa sharciga dhawra ayaa iyaga la dirira.
Those who abandon the law praise the impious. Those who guard it are inflamed against him.
5 Nimanka sharka lahu garsooridda ma gartaan, Laakiinse kuwa Rabbiga doondoonaa wax walbay gartaan.
Evil men do not intend judgment. But those who inquire after the Lord turn their souls toward all things.
6 Kii jidad qalloocan ku socda, in kastoo uu taajir yahay, Waxaa ka roon miskiinka daacadnimadiisa ku socda.
Better is the pauper walking in his simplicity, than the rich walking in ways of depravity.
7 Ku alla kii sharciga dhawraa waa wiil caqli leh, Laakiinse kii raaca kuwa cirta weyn, aabbihiisuu ceebeeyaa.
Whoever keeps the law is a wise son. But whoever feeds gluttons brings shame to his father.
8 Kii korsaar iyo ribo maalkiisa ku korodhsadaa, Wuxuu u ururin doonaa mid masaakiinta u naxariista.
Whoever piles up riches by usury and profit gathers them for him who will give freely to the poor.
9 Kii dhegtiisa ka leexiya inuu sharciga maqlo, Xataa baryootankiisu waa karaahiyo.
Whoever turns away his ears from listening to the law: his prayer will be detestable.
10 Ku alla kii kuwa xaqa ah jid shar ah ku ambiyaa, Isagaa ku dhici doona godkiisa, Laakiinse kuwa qummanu wax wanaagsan bay dhaxli doonaan.
Whoever deceives the just in a malicious way will fall into his own perdition. And the simple shall possess his goods.
11 Taajirku waa isla caqli weyn yahay, Laakiinse miskiinka waxgarashada leh ayaa isaga kashifa.
The rich one seems wise to himself. But the poor one, being prudent, shall evaluate him.
12 Kuwa xaqa ahu markay guulaystaan, waxaa jirta ammaan weyn, Laakiinse markii kuwa sharka lahu sara kacaan dadku waa dhuuntaa.
In the exultation of the just, there is great glory. When the impious reign, men are brought to ruin.
13 Kii xadgudubyadiisa qariyaa ma liibaani doono, Laakiinse kii qirta oo haddana ka tagaa, naxariis buu heli doonaa.
Whoever hides his crimes will not be guided. But whoever will have confessed and abandoned them shall overtake mercy.
14 Ninkii mar kasta cabsadaa waa barakaysan yahay, Laakiinse kii qalbigiisa sii adkeeyaa masiibuu ku dhici doonaa.
Blessed is the man who is ever fearful. Yet truly, whoever is hardened in mind will fall into evil.
15 Taliyihii shar lahu wuxuu dadka masaakiintaa ku yahay Sida libaax ciyaya iyo sida orso weerar ah oo kale.
An impious leader over a poor people is like a roaring lion and a hungry bear.
16 Amiirkii garaaddaranu waa nin dulun weyn, Laakiinse kii neceb faa'iidada xaqdarrada ah cimrigiisuu dheerayn doonaa.
A leader destitute of prudence will oppress many through false accusations. But whoever hates avarice shall prolong his days.
17 Ninkii nin dhiiggiis qabaa Wuxuu u carari doonaa godka, oo ninna yaanu ka joojin.
A man who slanders the blood of a life, even if he flees to the pit, no one will tolerate him.
18 Ku alla kii si qumman u socda waa la samatabbixin doonaa, Laakiinse kii si qalloocan laba jid ugu socdaa haddiiba wuu dhici doonaa.
Whoever walks simply shall be saved. Whoever is perverse in his steps will fall all at once.
19 Kii dhulkiisa beertaa, cunto badan buu ka dhergi doonaa, Laakiinse kii waxmatarayaal raacaa wuxuu ka dhergi doonaa caydhnimo.
Whoever works his land shall be satisfied with bread. But whoever pursues leisure will be filled with need.
20 Ninkii aamin ahu aad buu u barakoobi doonaa, Laakiinse kii taajirnimo ku degdegaa ma taqsiir la'aan doono.
A faithful man shall be greatly praised. But whoever rushes to become rich will not be innocent.
21 Ma wanaagsana in dadka loo kala eexdo, Iyo inuu nin xabbad kibis ah u xadgudbo toona.
Whoever shows favoritism in judgment does not do well; even if it is for a morsel of bread, he forsakes the truth.
22 Kii taajirnimo ku degdegaa waa qumay, Mana oga inuu caydhoobi doono.
A man who hurries to become rich, and who envies others, does not know that destitution will overwhelm him.
23 Kii nin canaantaa wuxuu marka dambe heli doonaa Raallinimo ka badan kan carrabka ku faaniya.
Whoever corrects a man, afterward he shall find favor with him, more so than he who deceives him with a flattering tongue.
24 Kii aabbihiis ama hooyadiis wax ka dhaca oo haddana yidhaahda, Taasu xadgudub ma aha, Wuxuu saaxiib la yahay kii wax dumiya.
Whoever takes away anything from his father or mother, and who says, “This is not a sin,” is the associate of a murderer.
25 Kii hunguri weynu muran buu kiciyaa, Laakiinse kii Rabbiga isku halleeya waa la barwaaqaysiin doonaa.
Whoever boasts and enlarges himself stirs up conflicts. Yet truly, whoever trusts in the Lord will be healed.
26 Kii qalbigiisa isku halleeyaa waa nacas, Laakiinse ku alla kii si caqli ah u socda waa la samatabbixin doonaa.
Whoever trusts in his own heart is a fool. But whoever treads wisely, the same shall be saved.
27 Kii miskiinka wax siiyaa ma baahan doono, Laakiinse kii indhaha ka qarsada aad baa loo habaari doonaa.
Whoever gives to the poor shall not be in need. Whoever despises his petition will suffer scarcity.
28 Markii kuwa sharka lahu kacaan dadku waa dhuuntaa, Laakiinse markay halligmaan, kuwa xaqa ahu way sii kordhaan.
When the impious rise up, men will hide themselves. When they perish, the just shall be multiplied.
