6 Odayaasha waxaa taaj u ah carruurta carruurtooda, Oo sharafta carruurtuna waa aabbayaashood.

8 Hadiyaddu waxay kii haysta la tahay sida dhagax qaali ah, Oo meel alla meeshay u leexataba way ku barwaaqowdaa.
A gift, in the eyes of its owner, is, a stone of beauty, whithersoever it turneth, it bringeth prosperity.
9 Kii xadgudub qariyaa jacayl buu doondoonaa, Laakiinse kii xaal ku noqnoqdaa saaxiibbuu kala kaxeeyaa.
He that hideth a transgression, seeketh love, but, he that repeateth a matter, separateth intimate friends.
10 Canaantu waxay ninkii garasho leh u tartaa In ka badan boqol jeedal oo nacas lagu dhuftay ay u taraan.
A reproof sinketh more deeply into an intelligent man than a hundred stripes, into a dullard!
11 Ninkii shar lahu wuxuu doondoonaa caasinimo keliya, Sidaas daraaddeed waxaa isaga lagu diri doonaa farriingeeye aan naxariis lahayn.
Nothing less than rebellion, doth a wicked man seek, and, a relentless messenger, shall be sent out against him.
12 Nin ha la kulmo orso dhasheeda laga xaday, Intuu nacas nacasnimo samaynaya la kulmi lahaa.

19 Kii xadgudub jecelu muran buu jecel yahay, Oo kii iriddiisa sarraysiiyaana wuxuu doondoontaa baabba'.
A lover of transgression, is one who loveth strife, he that heighteneth his door, seeketh grievous harm.
20 Kii qalbi qalloocan lahu wanaag ma helo, Oo kii carrab maroorsan lahuna wuxuu ku dhex dhacaa belaayo.
The crooked in heart, shall not find good, and, he that is perverse with his tongue, shall fall into wickedness.
21 Kii nacas dhalaa murugtiisuu u dhalaa, Oo nacas aabbihiisna farxad ma leh.
He that begetteth a dullard, it is to his own grief, neither can the father of the base, rejoice.
22 Qalbigii faraxsanu waa dawo wanaagsan, Laakiinse qalbigii jabanu lafahuu engejiyaa.
A joyful heart, worketh an excellent cure, —but, a stricken spirit, drieth up the bone.
23 Ninkii shar lahu laabtuu laaluush ka qaataa, Si uu jidadka garta u qalloociyo.
A bribe out of his bosom, doth a lawless man take, to pervert the ways of justice.
24 Xigmaddu waxay hor joogtaa kii garasho leh; Laakiinse nacaska indhihiisu waxay eegaan dhulka darafkiisa.
Before the face of the discerning, is wisdom, but, the eyes of a dullard, are in the ends of the earth.
25 Wiilkii nacas ahu waa u murug aabbihiis, Waana u qadhaadh tii dashay.
A vexation to his father, is the son that is a dullard, and a bitterness, to her that bare him.
26 Weliba ma wanaagsana in kii xaq ah la taqsiiro, Ama in kuwa sharafka leh qummanaantooda aawadeed wax loogu dhufto.
Surely, to chastise the righteous, is not good, to smite the noble-minded for equity.
27 Kii hadalkiisa yareeyaa, aqoon buu leeyahay, Oo kii qalbigiisu qabow yahayna waa nin garasho leh.
Sparing of his words, is one who valueth knowledge, and, of a thoughtful spirit, is a man of intelligence.
28 Xataa nacasku markuu iska aamusan yahay waxaa loo yaqaan mid caqli leh, Kii bushimihiisa isku qabtana nin miyir leh.
Even a fool, holding his peace, is accounted, wise, —He that closeth his lips, [is thought] to have understanding.
