1 Haddaba kuwanu waxa weeye farcammadii Haaruun iyo Muuse waagii Rabbigu Muuse kula hadlay Buur Siinay.
Now these are the generations of Aaron and Moses, in the day when the word of the Lord came to Moses on Mount Sinai.
2 Oo kuwanu waa wiilashii Haaruun magacyadoodii, Naadaab oo curadkii ahaa, iyo Abiihuu, iyo Elecaasaar, iyo Iitaamaar.
These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the oldest, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
3 Kuwaasu waa wiilashii Haaruun magacyadoodii, oo waa wadaaddadii la subkay oo uu gooni uga dhigay inay adeegaan shuqulka wadaadnimada.
These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests, on whom the holy oil was put, who were marked out as priests.
4 Naadaab iyo Abiihuu waxay ku dhinteen Rabbiga hortiisa, markay dab qalaad ku bixiyeen Rabbiga hortiisa iyagoo cidlada Siinay jooga, oo iyagu carruurna ma ay lahayn. Markaasay Elecaasaar iyo Iitaamaar shuqulkii wadaadnimada kaga adeegi jireen aabbahood Haaruun hortiisa.
And Nadab and Abihu were put to death before the Lord when they made an offering of strange fire before the Lord, in the waste land of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar did the work of priests before Aaron their father.
5 Kolkaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And the Lord said to Moses,
6 Qabiilka reer Laawi soo dhowee oo wadaadka Haaruun hortiisa keen inay isaga u adeegaan.
Make the tribe of Levi come near, and put them before Aaron the priest, to be his helpers,
7 Oo iyagu waa inay amarkiisa iyo amarka shirka oo dhan ku yeelaan teendhada shirka horteeda si ay hawsha taambuugga u sameeyaan.
In order that they may be responsible to him and to all Israel for the care of the Tent of meeting, and to do the work of the House;
8 Oo waa inay dhawraan alaabta teendhada shirka oo dhan, iyo amarka reer binu Israa'iil, si ay hawsha taambuugga u sameeyaan.
And they will have the care of all the vessels of the Tent of meeting, and will do for the children of Israel all the necessary work of the House.
9 Oo adigu waa inaad reer Laawi siisaa Haaruun iyo wiilashiisaba, oo iyaga dhammaantood waa la siiyey reer binu Israa'iil aawadood.
Give the Levites to Aaron and his sons; so that they may be his without question from among the children of Israel.
10 Oo waa inaad Haaruun iyo wiilashiisa doorataa, oo iyagu waa inay dhawraan wadaadnimadooda, oo shisheeyihii u soo dhowaadana waa in la dilaa.
And give orders that Aaron and his sons are to keep their place as priests; any strange person who comes near is to be put to death.
11 Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And the Lord said to Moses,
12 Oo bal eeg, anna waxaan reer Laawi kala dhex baxay reer binu Israa'iil intii aan ka qaadan lahaa curadyada reer binu Israa'iil ee maxalka furta oo dhan, oo reer Laawi waxay ahaanayaan kuwaygii,
See, I have taken the Levites out of the children of Israel to be mine in place of the first sons of the children of Israel;
13 waayo, curadyada oo dhan anigaa iska leh. Maalintii aan curadyadii Masar oo dhan wada laayay ayaan quduus ka wada dhigtay curadyada reer binu Israa'iil, dad iyo duunyoba, oo iyagu kuwaygay ahaanayaan, waayo, aniga ayaa Rabbiga ah.
For all the first sons are mine; on the day when I put to death all the first sons in the land of Egypt, I took for myself every first male birth of man and beast. They are mine; I am the Lord.
14 Oo haddana Rabbigu wuxuu Muuse kula hadlay cidlada Siinay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And the Lord said to Moses in the waste land of Sinai,
15 Reer Laawi oo dhan u soo wada tiri reer reer iyo qolo qolo. Nin kasta oo bil jira ama ka sii weyn waa inaad tirisaa.
Let all the children of Levi be numbered by their families and their fathers' houses; let every male of a month old and over be numbered.
16 Markaasaa Muuse iyagii u tiriyey sidii eraygii Rabbigu ahaa oo uu isaga ugu amray.
So Moses did as the Lord said, numbering them as he had been ordered.
17 Kuwanu waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Laawi magacyadoodii: Gershoon, iyo Qohaad, iyo Meraarii.
These were the sons of Levi by name: Gershon and Kohath and Merari.
18 Oo kuwanuna waa magacyadii wiilashii Gershoon siday qolooyinkoodu yihiin, Libnii iyo Shimcii.
And these are the names of the sons of Gershon, by their families: Libni and Shimei.
19 Oo wiilashii Qohaad siday qolooyinkoodu yihiin waa Camraam, iyo Isehaar, iyo Xebroon, iyo Cusii'eel.
And the sons of Kohath, by their families: Amram and Izhar and Hebron and Uzziel.
20 Oo wiilashii Meraariina siday qolooyinkoodu yihiin waa Maxlii iyo Mushii, kuwanu waa qolooyinkii reer Laawi siday reerahoodu yihiin.
And the sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites in the order of their fathers' houses.
21 Oo Gershoon waxaa ka soo farcamay reer Libnii iyo reer Shimcii, kuwaasu waa qolooyinkii reer Gershoon.
From Gershon come the Libnites and the Shimeites; these are the families of the Gershonites.
22 Oo kuwii iyaga laga tiriyey siday ahayd tiradii kuwii lab ahaa oo dhan, intii bil jirtay ama ka sii weynayd, kulli intoodii la tiriyey waxay ahaayeen toddoba kun iyo shan boqol.
Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were seven thousand, five hundred.
23 Oo reer Gershoon qolooyinkoodii waa inay taambuugga dabadiisa xagga galbeedka teendhooyinkooda ka dhistaan.
The tents of the Gershonites are to be placed at the back of the House, to the west.
24 Oo amiirka reer Gershoonna waa inuu ahaadaa Eliyaasaaf ina Laa'eel.
The chief of the Gershonites is Eliasaph, the son of Lael.
25 Oo reer Gershoonna waa inay teendhada shirka ugu taliyaan taambuuga, iyo Teendhada, iyo dedkeeda, iyo daaha iridda teendhada shirka,
In the Tent of meeting, the Gershonites are to have the care of the House, and the Tent with its cover, and the veil for the door of the Tent of meeting,
26 iyo barxadda daahyadeeda, iyo daaha iridda barxadda oo taambuugga iyo meesha allabariga ku wareegsan iyo xadhkihii hawsha lagu qabto oo dhan.
And the hangings for the open space round the House and the altar, and the curtain for its doorway, and all the cords needed for its use.
27 Oo Qohaadna waxaa ka soo farcamay reer Camraam, iyo reer Isehaar, iyo reer Xebroon, iyo reer Cusii'eel; kuwaasu waa qolooyinkii reer Qohaad.
From Kohath come the Amramites and the Izharites and the Hebronites and the Uzzielites; these are the families of the Kohathites.
28 Siday ahayd tiradii kuwii lab ahaa oo dhan intii bil jirtay ama ka sii weynayd waxay ahaayeen siddeed kun iyo lix boqol, oo waxay u taliyeen meesha quduuska ah.
Those who were numbered of them, the males from one month old and over, were eight thousand, six hundred, who were responsible for the care of the holy place.
29 Oo qolooyinka reer Qohaad waa inay taambuugga dhankiisa koonfureed teendhooyinkooda ka dhistaan.
The tents of the Kohathites are to be placed on the south side of the House.
30 Oo amiirka reer Qohaadna waa inuu ahaadaa Eliisaafaan ina Cusii'eel.
Their chief is Elizaphan, the son of Uzziel.
31 Oo iyana waxay u talin doonaan sanduuqa, iyo miiska, iyo laambadda, iyo meelaha allabariga, iyo weelasha meesha quduuska ah oo ay ku adeegaan, iyo daaha, iyo hawsha oo dhan.
In their care are the ark, and the table, and the lights, and the altars, and all the vessels used in the holy place, and the veil, and all they are used for.
32 Oo Elecaasaar ina wadaadka Haaruun waa inuu ahaadaa amiirka amiirrada reer Laawi, oo wuxuu korka ka ilaalin doonaa kuwa u taliya meesha quduuska ah.
Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, will be head over all the Levites and overseer of those responsible for the care of the holy place.
33 Oo Meraariina waxaa ka soo farcamay reer Maxlii iyo reer Mushii, kuwaasu waa qolooyinkii reer Meraarii.
From Merari come the Mahlites and the Mushites; these are the families of Merari.
34 Oo kuwoodii loo tiriyey siday ahayd tiradii kuwii labka ahaa oo dhan, intii bil jirtay ama ka sii weynayd, waxay ahaayeen lix kun iyo laba boqol.
Those who were numbered of them, the males of a month old and over, were six thousand, two hundred.
35 Oo qabiilka reer Meraarii amiirkoodii wuxuu ahaa Surii'eel ina Abiixayil, oo iyana waa inay taambuugga dhankiisa woqooyi teendhooyinkooda ka dhistaan.
The chief of the families of Merari was Zuriel, the son of Abihail: their tents are to be placed on the north side of the House.
36 Oo reer Meraarii waxaa loo amray inay u taliyaan taambuugga looxyadiisa, iyo ulihiisa gudban, iyo tiirarkiisa, iyo saldhigyadiisa, iyo alaabtiisa oo dhan, iyo hawshiisa oo dhan,
And in their care are to be all the boards of the Tent, with their rods and pillars and bases, and all the instruments, and all they are used for,
37 iyo tiirarka barxadda ku wareegsanna, iyo saldhigyadooda, iyo musaamiirtooda iyo xadhkahooda.
And the pillars of the open space round it, with their bases and nails and cords.
38 Oo kuwa teendhooyinkooda ka dhistaa taambuugga xaggiisa bari iyo teendhada shirka horteeda xagga qorrax ka soo baxa waa inay ahaadaan Muuse iyo Haaruun iyo wiilashiisa, oo waxay reer binu Israa'iil ugu talinayaan meesha quduuska ah; oo shisheeyaha u soo dhowaadana waa in la dilaa.
And those whose tents are to be placed on the east side of the House in front of the Tent of meeting, looking to the dawn, are Moses and Aaron and his sons, who will do the work of the holy place for the children of Israel; and any strange person who comes near will be put to death.
39 Oo kulli intii reer Laawi ah ee la tiriyey, oo Muuse iyo Haaruun ay qolo qolo ugu tiriyeen amarkii Rabbiga, kuwii lab ahaa oo dhan oo bil jiray ama ka sii weynaa, waxay ahaayeen laba iyo labaatan kun.
All the Levites numbered by Moses and Aaron at the order of the Lord, all the males of one month old and over numbered in the order of their families, were twenty-two thousand.
40 Markaasaa Rabbigu wuxuu Muuse ku yidhi, Tiri curadyada labka ah oo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, intii bil jirta ama ka sii weyn, oo magacyadooda ku soo xisaab.
And the Lord said to Moses, Let all the first male children be numbered, and take the number of their names.
41 Oo waa inaad ii qaaddaa reer Laawi intii aad ii qaadi lahayd curadyada reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, oo waa inaad xoolaha reer Laawina ii qaaddaa intii aad ii qaadi lahayd curadyada xoolaha reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, waayo, aniga ayaa Rabbiga ah.
And give to me the Levites (I am the Lord) in place of the first sons of the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites in place of the first births among the cattle of the children of Israel.
42 Markaasaa Muuse curadyadii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan u tiriyey sidii Rabbigu ugu amray.
So Moses had all the first sons among the children of Israel numbered, as the Lord said to him.
43 Oo curadyadii labka ahaa oo dhammu, sidii tirada magacyadoodu ahayd, intii bil jirtay ama ka sii weynayd, kuwii iyaga laga soo tiriyey waxay ahaayeen laba iyo labaatan kun iyo laba boqol iyo saddex iyo toddobaatan.
Every first son from a month old and over was numbered by name, and the number came to twenty-two thousand, two hundred and seventy-three.
44 Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And the Lord said to Moses,
45 Reer Laawi ii qaad intii aad ii qaadi lahayd curadyada reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, oo xoolaha reer Laawina ii qaad intii aad ii qaadi lahayd xoolaha reer binu Israa'iil, oo reer Laawi kuwaygay ahaanayaan, waayo, aniga ayaa Rabbiga ah.
Take the Levites in place of all the first sons of the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites in place of their cattle; the Levites are to be mine; I am the Lord.
46 Oo labada boqol iyo saddex iyo toddobaatanka curad oo reer binu Israa'iil oo ka sii badan reer Laawi,
And the price you have to give for the two hundred and seventy-three first sons of the children of Israel which are in addition to the number of the Levites,
47 madaxtiriskiiba waxaad iigu madax furataa shan sheqel oo le'eg sheqelka meesha quduuska ah. (Sheqelku waa labaatan geeraah.)
Will be five shekels for every one, by the scale of the holy place (the shekel is twenty gerahs);
48 Oo tiradooda dheeraadka ah lacagta lagu madax furtay waa inaad Haaruun iyo wiilashiisa siisaa.
And this money, the price of those over the number of the Levites, is to be given to Aaron and his sons.
49 Markaasaa Muuse lacagtii ka qaaday kuwii ka sii badnaa kuwii lagu madax furtay reer Laawi.
So Moses took the money, the price of those whose place had not been taken by the Levites;
50 Oo curadyadii reer binu Israa'iil ayuu ka qaaday lacagtii, oo ahayd kun iyo saddex boqol iyo shan iyo lixdan sheqel oo le'eg sheqelka meesha quduuska ah.
From the first sons of Israel he took it, a thousand, three hundred and sixty-five shekels, by the scale of the holy place;
51 Oo Muuse lacagtii madaxfurashada ahayd wuxuu u dhiibay Haaruun iyo wiilashiisii, siduu ahaa eraygii Rabbigu Muuse ku amray.
And he gave the money to Aaron and his sons, as the Lord had said.
