1 Oo belaayadii dabadeed ayaa Rabbigu la hadlay Muuse iyo Elecaasaar oo ahaa wadaadkii Haaruun wiilkiisii, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And it cometh to pass, after the plague, that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 Shirka reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan u soo tiriya reer reer, intii labaatan sannadood jirta iyo intii ka sii weyn, kuwaas oo ah inta reer binu Israa'iil ee dagaal u bixi karta oo dhan.
'Take up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, every one going out to the host in Israel.'
3 Markaasaa Muuse iyo wadaadkii Elecaasaar ahaa iyagii kula hadleen bannaankii Moo'aab oo Webi Urdun ku ag yaal oo Yerixoo ka soo hor jeeda.
And Moses speaketh — Eleazar the priest also — with them, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying,
4 Oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Dadka inta labaatan sannadood jirta iyo inta ka sii weyn soo tiriya, sidii Rabbigu ku amray Muuse iyo dadkii reer binu Israa'iil oo dalkii Masar ka soo baxay.
'From a son of twenty years and upward,' as Jehovah hath commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt.
5 Ruubeen wuxuu ahaa curadkii Israa'iil, oo waxaa reer Ruubeen ka soo farcamay Xanoog oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xanoog, iyo Falluu oo dhalay qabiilka reer Falluu,
Reuben, first-born of Israel — sons of Reuben: [of] Hanoch [is] the family of the Hanochite; of Pallu the family of the Palluite;
6 iyo Xesroon oo dhalay qabiilkii reer Xesroon, iyo Karmii oo dhalay qabiilkii reer Karmii.
of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Carmi the family of the Carmite.
7 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Ruubeen, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen saddex iyo afartan kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo soddon.
These [are] families of the Reubenite, and their numbered ones are three and forty thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8 Reer Falluu waxaa ka dhashay Elii'aab.
And the son of Pallu [is] Eliab;
9 Wiilashii Elii'aabna waxay ahaayeen Nemuu'eel iyo Daataan iyo Abiiraam. Daataankan iyo Abiiraamkanu waa kuwii shirka ururin jiray oo la diriray Muuse iyo Haaruun oo ku jiray kooxdii Qorax markii ay Rabbiga la dirireen,
and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the company, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, in their striving against Jehovah,
10 oo uu dhulku afka kala qaaday oo liqay iyagii iyo Qorax markii kooxdaasu ay dhinteen, kolkii dabku baabbi'iyey labada boqol iyo kontonka nin oo ay calaamad noqdeen.
and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth them and Korah, in the death of the company, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign;
11 Habase yeeshee Qorax wiilashiisii ma ay dhiman.
and the sons of Korah died not.
12 Wiilashii Simecoon iyo qabiilooyinkoodii ka soo farcamay waa kuwan: Nemuu'eel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Nemuu'eel, iyo Yaamiin oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yaamiin, iyo Yaakiin oo dhalay qabiilkii reer Yaakiin,
Sons of Simeon by their families: of Nemuel [is] the family of the Nemuelite; of Jamin the family of the Jaminite; of Jachin the family of the Jachinite;
13 iyo Serax oo dhalay qabiilkii reer Serax, iyo Shaa'uul oo dhalay qabiilkii reer Shaa'uul.
of Zerah the family of the Zarhite; of Shaul the family of the Shaulite.
14 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Simecoon, oo waxay ahaayeen laba iyo labaatan kun iyo laba boqol.
These [are] families of the Simeonite, two and twenty thousand and two hundred.
15 Wiilashii Gaad iyo qabiilooyinkii ka soo farcamay waa kuwan: Sefoon oo dhalay qabiilka reer Sefoon, iyo Xaggii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xaggii, iyo Shuunii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shuunii,
Sons of Gad by their families: of Zephon [is] the family of the Zephonite; of Haggi the family of the Haggite; of Shuni the family of the Shunite;
16 iyo Aasnii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Aasnii, iyo Ceerii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Ceerii,
of Ozni the family of the Oznite; of Eri the family of the Erite:
17 iyo Arood oo dhalay qabiilka reer Arood, iyo Areelii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Areelii.
of Arod the family of the Arodite; of Areli the family of the Arelite.
18 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Gaad, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen afartan kun iyo shan boqol.
These [are] families of the sons of Gad, by their numbered ones, forty thousand and five hundred.
19 Oo wiilashii Yahuudahna waxay ahaayeen Ceer iyo Oonaan; oo Ceer iyo Oonaanna waxay ku dhinteen dalkii Kancaan.
Sons of Judah [are] Er and Onan; and Er dieth — Onan also — in the land of Canaan.
20 Oo wiilashii Yahuudah iyo qabiilooyinkoodiina waxay ahaayeen: Sheelaah oo dhalay qabiilka reer Sheelaah, iyo Feres oo dhalay qabiilka reer Feres, iyo Serax oo dhalay qabiilka reer Serax.
And sons of Judah, by their families, are: of Shelah the family of the Shelanite; of Pharez the family of the Pharzite; of Zerah the family of the Zarhite;
21 Feres wiilashiisiina waxay ahaayeen: Xesroon oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xesroon, iyo Xaamuul oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xaamuul.
and sons of Pharez are: of Hezron the family of the Hezronite; of Hamul the family of the Hamulite.
22 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Yahuudah oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen lix iyo toddobaatan kun iyo shan boqol.
These [are] families of Judah, by their numbered ones, six and seventy thousand and five hundred.
23 Oo wiilashii Isaakaar iyo qabiilooyinkoodii waa kuwan: Toolac oo dhalay qabiilka reer Toolac, iyo Fuwaah oo dhalay qabiilka reer Fuwaah,
Sons of Issachar by their families; [of] Tola [is] the family of the Tolaite; of Pua the family of the Punite;
24 iyo Yaashuub oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yaashuub, iyo Shimroon oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shimroon.
of Jashub the family of the Jashubite; of Shimron the family of the Shimronite.
25 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Isaakaar, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyeyna waxay ahaayeen afar iyo lixdan kun iyo saddex boqol.
These [are] families of Issachar, by their numbered ones, four and sixty thousand and three hundred.
26 Oo wiilashii Sebulun iyo qabiilooyinkoodiina waa kuwan: Sered oo dhalay qabiilka reer Sered, iyo Eeloon oo dhalay qabiilka reer Eeloon, iyo Yaxle'eel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yaxle'eel.
Sons of Zebulun by their families: of Sered [is] the family of the Sardite; of Elon the family of the Elonite; of Jahleel the family of the Jahleelite.
27 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Sebulun, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen lixdan kun iyo shan boqol.
These [are] families of the Zebulunite by their numbered ones, sixty thousand and five hundred.
28 Oo wiilashii Yuusuf iyo qabiilooyinkoodii waxay ahaayeen Manaseh iyo Efrayim.
Sons of Joseph by their families [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Oo wiilashii Manaseh waa kuwan: Maakiir oo dhalay qabiilka reer Maakiir, oo Maakiirna wuxuu dhalay Gilecaad, Gilecaadna waxaa ka soo farcamay qabiilka reer Gilecaad.
Sons of Manasseh: of Machir [is] the family of the Machirite; and Machir hath begotten Gilead; of Gilead [is] the family of the Gileadite.
30 Wiilashii Gilecaad waa kuwan: Iiceser oo dhalay qabiilka reer Iiceser, iyo Xeeleq oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xeeleq,
These [are] sons of Gilead: [of] Jeezer [is] the family of the Jeezerite; of Helek the family of the Helekite;
31 iyo Asrii'eel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Asrii'eel, iyo Shekem oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shekem,
and [of] Asriel the family of the Asrielite; and [of] Shechem the family of the Shechemite;
32 iyo Shemiidaac oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shemiidaac, iyo Heefer oo dhalay qabiilka reer Heefer.
and [of] Shemida the family of the Shemidaite; and [of] Hepher the family of the Hepherite.
33 Oo Selaafexaad oo ahaa ina Heefer wiilal ma uu lahayn gabdho mooyaane. Oo Selaafexaad gabdhihiisa magacyadoodu waxay ahaayeen Maxlaah iyo Nocaah iyo Xoglaah iyo Milkaah iyo Tirsaah.
And Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons but daughters, and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad [are] Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Manaseh, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen laba iyo konton kun iyo toddoba boqol.
These [are] families of Manasseh, and their numbered ones [are] two and fifty thousand and seven hundred.
35 Oo wiilashii Efrayim iyo qabiilooyinkoodii waa kuwan: Shuutelax oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shuutelax, iyo Beker oo dhalay qabiilka reer Beker, iyo Tahan oo dhalay qabiilka reer Tahan.
These [are] sons of Ephraim by their families: of Shuthelah [is] the family of the Shuthelhite; of Becher the family of the Bachrite; of Tahan the family of the Tahanite.
36 Intanuna waa wiilashii Shuutelax: Ceeraan oo dhalay qabiilka reer Ceeraan.
And these [are] sons of Shuthelah: of Eran the family of the Eranite.
37 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii wiilashii Efrayim, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen laba iyo soddon kun iyo shan boqol. Kuwaasu waxay ahaayeen wiilashii Yuusuf iyo qabiilooyinkoodii.
These [are] families of the sons of Ephraim, by their numbered ones, two and thirty thousand and five hundred. These [are] sons of Joseph by their families.
38 Oo wiilashii Benyaamiin iyo qabiilooyinkoodiina waa kuwan: Belac oo dhalay qabiilka reer Belac, iyo Ashbeel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Ashbeel, iyo Axiiraam oo dhalay qabiilka reer Axiiraam,
Sons of Benjamin by their families: of Bela [is] the family of the Belaite; of Ashbel the family of the Ashbelite; of Ahiram the family of the Ahiramite;
39 iyo Shefuufaan oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shefuufaan, iyo Xuufaam oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xuufaam.
of Shupham the family of the Shuphamite; of Hupham the family of the Huphamite.
40 Oo wiilashii Belac waxay ahaayeen Ared iyo Nacamaan. Oo Ared wuxuu dhalay qabiilka reer Ared, Nacamaanna wuxuu dhalay qabiilka reer Nacamaan.
And sons of Bela are Ard and Naaman: [of Ard is] the family of the Ardite: of Naaman the family of the Naamite.
41 Intaasu waa wiilashii Benyaamiin iyo qabiilooyinkoodii, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen shan iyo afartan kun iyo lix boqol.
These [are] sons of Benjamin by their families, and their numbered ones [are] five and forty thousand and six hundred.
42 Oo wiilashii Daan iyo qabiilooyinkoodiina waa kuwan: Shuuxaam oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shuuxaam. Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Daan, siday qabiilooyinkoodii ahaayeen.
These [are] sons of Dan by their families: of Shuham [is] the family of the Shuhamite; these [are] families of Dan by their families;
43 Oo qabiilooyinkii reer Shuuxaam oo dhan intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen afar iyo lixdan kun iyo afar boqol.
all the families of the Shuhamite, by their numbered ones, [are] four and sixty thousand and four hundred.
44 Oo wiilashii Aasheer iyo qabiilooyinkoodiina waa kuwan: Yimnaah oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yimnaah, iyo Yishwii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yishwii, iyo Beriicaah oo dhalay reer Beriicaah.
Sons of Asher by their families: of Jimna [is] the family of the Jimnite; of Jesui the family of the Jesuite; of Beriah the family of the Beriite.
45 Oo wiilashii Beriicaah waxaa ka soo farcamay: Xeber oo dhalay qabiilka reer Xeber, iyo Malkii'eel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Malkii'eel.
Of sons of Beriah: of Heber [is] the family of the Heberite; of Malchiel the family of the Malchielite.
46 Oo Aasheer gabadhiisii magaceediina wuxuu ahaa Serax.
And the name of the daughter of Asher [is] Sarah.
47 Oo intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Aasheer, oo intii iyaga laga tiriyeyna waxay ahaayeen saddex iyo konton kun iyo afar boqol.
These [are] families of the sons of Asher, by their numbered ones, three and fifty thousand and four hundred.
48 Oo wiilashii Naftaali iyo qabiilooyinkoodii waa kuwan: Yaxse'eel oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yaxse'eel, iyo Guunii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Guunii;
Sons of Naphtali by their families: of Jahzeel [is] the family of the Jahzeelite; of Guni the family of the Gunite;
49 iyo Yeser oo dhalay qabiilka reer Yeser, iyo Shilleem oo dhalay qabiilka reer Shilleem.
of Jezer the family of the Jezerite; of Shillem the family of the Shillemite.
50 Intaasu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Naftaali sidii ay qabiilooyinkoodu ahaayeen. Oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen shan iyo afartan kun iyo afar boqol.
These [are] families of Naphtali by their families, and their numbered ones [are] five and forty thousand and four hundred.
51 Intaasu waa intii laga tiriyey reer binu Israa'iil, oo waxay kulligood ahaayeen lix boqol oo kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo soddon.
These [are] numbered ones of the sons of Israel, six hundred thousand, and a thousand, seven hundred and thirty.
52 Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
53 Kuwan ayaa dalka dhaxal ahaan loogu qaybin doonaa sida ay tahay tirada magacyadoodu.
'To these is the land apportioned by inheritance, by the number of names;
54 Kuwii badan waa inaad siisaa dhaxal badan oo kuwii yarna waa inaad siisaa dhaxal yar. Oo mid kasta sida kuwii laga tiriyey ay ahaayeen dhaxalka ha loo siiyo.
to the many thou dost increase their inheritance, and to the few thou dost diminish their inheritance; [to] each according to his numbered ones is given his inheritance.
55 Habase yeeshee dhulka waa in saami loo ritaa marka la qaybsanayo. Sida magacyada qabiilooyinka awowayaashoodu ahaayeen ha u dhaxleen.
'Only by lot is the land apportioned, by the names of the tribes of their fathers they inherit;
56 Oo kuwa badan iyo kuwa yarba dhaxalkooda saami ha lagu kala qaybiyo.
according to the lot is their inheritance apportioned between many and few.'
57 Kuwii laga tiriyey reer Laawi iyo qolooyinkoodii waa kuwan: Gershoon oo dhalay qabiilka reer Gershoon, iyo Qohaad oo dhalay qabiilka reer Qohaad, iyo Meraarii oo dhalay qabiilka reer Meraarii.
And these [are] numbered ones of the Levite by their families: of Gershon [is] the family of the Gershonite; of Kohath the family of the Kohathite; of Merari the family of the Merarite.
58 Intanu waa qabiilooyinkii reer Laawi: qabiilkii reer Libnii, iyo qabiilkii reer Xebroon, iyo qabiilkii reer Maxlii, iyo qabiilkii reer Mushii, iyo qabiilkii reer Qorax. Oo Qohaadna wuxuu dhalay Camraam.
These [are] families of the Levite: the family of the Libnite, the family of the Hebronite, the family of the Mahlite, the family of the Mushite, the family of the Korathite. And Kohath hath begotten Amram,
59 Oo Camraam naagtiisu waxay ahayd Yookebed ina Laawi, taasoo Laawi ugu dhalatay dalkii Masar. Oo iyana waxay Camraam u dhashay Haaruun iyo Muuse iyo walaashood Maryan.
and the name of Amram's wife is Jochebed, daughter of Levi, whom [one] hath born to Levi in Egypt; and she beareth to Amram Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Oo Haaruun waxaa u dhashay Naadaab iyo Abiihuu iyo Elecaasaar iyo Iitaamaar.
And born to Aaron Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar;
61 Oo Naadaab iyo Abiihuu way dhinteen markay Rabbiga hortiisa ku bixiyeen dab qalaad.
and Nadab dieth — Abihu also — in their bringing near strange fire before Jehovah.
62 Oo intii iyaga laga tiriyey waxay ahaayeen saddex iyo labaatan kun, mid kasta oo lab ah oo bil jira iyo intii ka sii weyn, waayo, iyaga laguma tirin reer binu Israa'iil, maxaa yeelay, dhaxal laguma siin reer binu Israa'iil dhexdooda.
And their numbered ones are three and twenty thousand, every male from a son of a month and upwards, for they have not numbered themselves in the midst of the sons of Israel; for an inheritance hath not been given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
63 Kuwaasu waa kuwii ay tiriyeen Muuse iyo wadaadkii Elecaasaar ahaa oo ku tiriyey reer binu Israa'iil bannaankii Moo'aab oo webi Urdun ku ag yaal oo Yerixoo ka soo hor jeeda.
These [are] those numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who have numbered the sons of Israel in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho;
64 Laakiinse kuwaas nin keliyuhu kagama jirin kuwii ay Muuse iyo wadaadkii Haaruun ahaa tiriyeen markay reer binu Israa'iil ku tiriyeen cidladii Siinay.
and among these there hath not been a man of those numbered by Moses, and Aaron the priest, who numbered the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai,
65 Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu iyaga ka yidhi, Hubaal cidlada bay ku dhiman doonaan. Oo nin qudhuhu kama hadhin, Kaaleeb ina Yefunneh iyo Yashuuca ina Nuun mooyaane.
for Jehovah said of them, 'They do certainly die in the wilderness;' and there hath not been left of them a man save Caleb son of Jephunneh, and Joshua son of Nun.
