Tirintii 14
1 Oo shirkii oo dhammuna codkoodii bay kor u qaadeen oo qayliyeen, oo dadkiina habeenkaas way ooyeen.
And all the congregation lifted up their voice and cried; and the people wept all that night.
2 Oo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammuna waxay u gunuuseen Muuse iyo Haaruun, oo shirkii oo dhammu waxay iyagii ku yidhaahdeen, Waxaa inoo roonayd inaynu dalkii Masar ku dhimanno! Amase inaynu cidladan ku dhimanno!
And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron; and all the congregation said to them,
3 Bal Rabbigu muxuu inoogu soo kexeeyey dalkan aynu seefta ku le'anayna? Naagaheenna iyo dhallaankeennu dhac bay noqonayaan. Sow inaynu Masar ku noqonno inooma roona?
Would we had died in the land of Egypt! or in this wilderness, would we had died! and why does the Lord bring us into this land to fall in war? our wives and our children shall be for a prey: now then it is better to return into Egypt.
4 Oo markaasaa midba midkii kale ku yidhi, Kaalaya aynu madax doorannee oo aynu Masar isaga noqonnee.
And they said one to another, Let us make a ruler, and return into Egypt.
5 Markaasaa Muuse iyo Haaruun waxay ku hor dheceen ururkii shirka reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan.
And Moses and Aaron fell upon their face before all the congregation of the children of Israel.
6 Oo Yashuuca ina Nuun iyo Kaaleeb ina Yefunneh oo kuwii dalka soo basaasay ka mid ahaa ayaa dharkoodii iska jeexjeexay,
But Joshua the [son] of Naue, and Chaleb the [son] of Jephonne, of [the number of] them that spied out the land, tore their garments,
7 oo waxay la hadleen shirkii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan oo ku yidhaahdeen, War dalkii aannu dhex marnay oo aan soo basaasnay waa dal aad iyo aad u wanaagsan.
and spoke to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, The land which we surveyed is indeed extremely good.
8 Oo haddii Rabbigu inagu farxo, ayuu dalkaas ina geeyn doonaa, oo wuu ina siin doonaa dalkaas caanaha iyo malabka la barwaaqaysan.
If the Lord choose us, he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which flows with milk and honey.
9 Laakiinse Rabbiga ha ku caasiyoobina, oo ha ka cabsanina dadka dalka deggan, waayo, waxay inoo yihiin sida kibis oo kale. Daafacoodii korkooda waa laga qaaday, oo Rabbigu innaguu inala jiraaye; iyaga ha ka cabsanina.
Only depart not from the Lord; and fear you not the people of the land, for they are meat for us; for the season [of prosperity] is departed from them, but the Lord [is] amongst us: fear them not.
10 Laakiinse shirkii oo dhammu waxay yidhaahdeen, Iyaga ha la dhagxiyo. Markaasaa ammaantii Rabbigu waxay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan uga muuqatay teendhadii shirka.
And all the congregation bade stone them with stones; and the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud on the tabernacle of witness to all the children of Israel.
11 Oo Rabbigu wuxuu Muuse ku yidhi, Dadkanu ilaa goormay i quudhsanayaan? Oo ilaa goormay i rumaysan waayayaan in kastoo aan dhexdooda calaamooyinka oo dhan ku sameeyey?
And the Lord said to Moses, How long does this people provoke me? and how long do they refuse to believe me for all the signs which I have wrought amongst them?
12 Haddaba iyagaan belaayo ku dhufan doonaa, oo waan dhaxal tiri doonaa, oo waxaan kaa samayn doonaa quruun iyaga ka weyn oo ka sii xoog badan.
I will strike them with death, and destroy them; and I will make of you and of your father's house a great nation, and much greater than this.
13 Markaasaa Muuse wuxuu Rabbiga ku yidhi, De taas waxaa maqli doona Masriyiintii, waayo, dadka itaalkaagaad iyaga kaga soo dhex bixisay.
And Moses said to the Lord, So Egypt shall hear, for you have brought up this people from them by your might.
14 Oo iyana waxay u sheegi doonaan dadka dalkan deggan. Iyagu waxay maqleen inaad dadkan dhex joogto, Rabbiyow, waayo, Rabbiyow, fool ka fool baa laguu arkay oo daruurtaadii baa iyaga kor taagan, oo maalintii waad ku hor kacdaa tiir daruur ah, habeenkiina tiir dab ah.
Moreover all the dwellers upon this land have heard that you are Lord in the midst of this people, who, O Lord, are seen [by them] face to face, and your cloud rests upon them, and you go before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, and by night in a pillar of fire.
15 Haddaba haddaad dadkan sidii nin keliya u disho, quruumihii warkaaga maqlay way hadli doonaan, oo waxay odhan doonaan,
And [if] you shall destroy this nation as one man; then all the nations that have heard your name shall speak, saying,
16 Rabbigu ma uu karin inuu dadkan keeno dalkii uu ugu dhaartay, sidaas daraaddeed ayuu cidladii ku laayay.
Because the Lord could not bring this people into the land which he sware to them, he has overthrown them in the wilderness.
17 Haddaba waan ku baryayaaye, Sayidow, xooggaagu wax weyn ha ahaado, sidaad u hadashay oo aad tidhi,
And now, O Lord, let your strength be exalted, as you spoke, saying,
18 Rabbigu cadho waa u gaabiyaa, oo waa naxariis badan yahay, oo xumaanta iyo xadgudubka wuu dhaafaa, oo sinaba uma caddeeyo in kan dembiga galay aanu eed lahayn, oo xumaantii awowayaashana wuxuu gaadhsiiyaa carruurtooda tan iyo farcanka saddexaad iyo kan afraad.
The Lord [is] longsuffering and merciful, and true, removing transgressions and iniquities and sins, and he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the sins of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation.
19 Haddaba waan ku baryayaaye, sida ay naxariistaadu u weyn tahay oo aad dadkan u cafiyi jirtay tan iyo dalkii Masar iyo ilaa haddeer dadkan xumaantooda saamax.
Forgive this people their sin according to your great mercy, as you were favourable to them from Egypt until now.
20 Markaasaa Rabbigu yidhi, Sidaad u tidhi, waan u saamaxay,
And the Lord said to Moses, I am gracious to them according to your word.
21 laakiinse sida runta ah anigu waan noolahay, oo dunida oo dhammuna waxay ka buuxsami doontaa ammaanta Rabbiga.
But [as] I live and my name is living, so the glory of the Lord shall fill all the earth.
22 Kulli dadkii ammaantayda arkay, oo arkay calaamooyinkii aan ku sameeyey Masar iyo cidladii, oo weliba tobankan jeer i jirrabay oo aanay codkaygiina dhegaysan,
For all the men who see my glory, and the signs which I wrought in Egypt, and in the wilderness, and have tempted me this tenth time, and have not listened to my voice,
23 hubaal ma ay arki doonaan dalkii aan awowayaashood ugu dhaartay, oo intoodii i quudhsatayna midna ma arki doono.
surely they shall not see the land, which I sware to their fathers; but their children which are with me here, as many as know not good or evil, every inexperienced youth, to them will I give the land; but none who have provoked me shall see it.
24 Laakiinse addoonkayga Kaaleeb wuxuu lahaa ruux kaleeto oo dhammaan ahaan buu ii raacay, oo sidaas daraaddeed isaga waan geeynayaa dalkii uu tegey, oo farcankiisuna way lahaan doonaan.
But my servant Chaleb, because there was another spirit in him, and he followed me, I will bring him into the land into which he entered, and his seed shall inherit it.
25 Haddaba dooxada waxaa deggan reer Camaaleq iyo reer Kancaan. Idinku berrito dib u noqda, oo waxaad tagtaan cidladii ku taal jidka loo maro Badda Cas.
But Amalec and the Chananite dwell in the valley: to-morrow turn and depart for the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
26 Markaasaa Rabbigu la hadlay Muuse iyo Haaruun, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,
27 Ilaa goormaan u adkaysanayaa shirkan sharka ah oo ii gunuusa? Waxaan maqlay gunuuskii ay reer binu Israa'iil ii gunuuseen.
How long [shall I endure] this wicked congregation? I have heard their murmurings against me, [even] the murmuring of the children of Israel, which they have murmured concerning you.
28 Waxaad iyaga ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Noloshaydaan ku dhaartaaye, hubaal sidaad dhegahayga ugu hadasheen ayaan idinku samaynayaa.
Say to them, [As] I live, says the Lord: surely as you spoke into my ears, so will I do to you.
29 Meydadkiinnu waxay ku dhici doonaan cidladan, oo kulli kuwiinna la tiriyey sidii tiradiinnu ahayd oo ah intii labaatan sannadood jirtay ama ka sii weynayd oo aniga ii gunuusay,
Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all those of you that were reviewed, and those of you that were numbered from twenty years old and upward, all that murmured against me,
30 hubaal idinku geli maysaan dalkii aan ku dhaartay inaan idin dejinayo, Kaaleeb ina Yefunneh iyo Yashuuca ina Nuun mooyaane.
you shall not enter into the land for which I stretched out my hand to establish you upon it; except only Chaleb the son of Jephonne, and Joshua the [son] of Naue.
31 Laakiinse yaryarkiinna aad tidhaahdeen, Waa la dhacayaa, iyagaan keeni doonaa, oo iyagu way baran doonaan dalkii aad diiddeen.
And your little ones, who you said should be a prey, them will I bring into the land; and they shall inherit the land, which you rejected.
32 Laakiinse idinka meydadkiinnu way ku dhici doonaan cidladan.
And your carcases shall fall in this wilderness.
33 Oo carruurtiinnuna afartan sannadood ayay cidlada ku warwareegi doonaan, oo ilaa meydadkiinnu ay cidlada ku baabba'aan iyagu waxay sidi doonaan daacadnimola'aantiinna.
And your sons shall be fed in the wilderness forty years, and they shall bear your fornication, until your carcases be consumed in the wilderness.
34 Oo maalmihii aad dalka ku soo basaasteen oo afartan maalmood ahaa, maalintiiba sannad ayaad dembiyadiinna u qaadanaysaan, oo idinku xumaantiinna waad qaadanaysaan xataa afartan sannadood, oo waxaad ogaan doontaan diidniintayda.
According to the number of the days during which you spied the land, forty days, a day for a year, you shall bear your sins forty years, and you shall know my fierce anger.
35 Anigoo Rabbiga ah ayaa sidaas ku hadlay, oo hubaal waxan oo dhan ayaan ku samaynayaa shirkan sharka ah ee iiga wada ururay oo dhan. Cidladan ayay ku baabbi'i doonaan oo ku wada dhiman doonaan.
I the Lord have spoken, Surely will I do thus to this evil congregation that has risen up together against me: in this wilderness they shall be utterly consumed, and there they shall die.
36 Oo nimankii Muuse u diray inay dalka soo basaasaan oo soo noqday oo shirka oo dhan ka dhigay inay isaga u gunuusaan markay dalkii war xun ka keeneen,
And the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land, and who came and murmured against it to the assembly so as to bring out evil words concerning the land, —
37 nimankaas oo war xun dalkii ka keenay ayaa belaayadii ku dhintay Rabbiga hortiisa.
the men that spoke evil reports against the land, even died of the plague before the Lord.
38 Laakiinse Yashuuca ina Nuun iyo Kaaleeb ina Yefunneh ayaa nolol kaga hadhay nimankii tegey inay dalka soo basaasaan.
And Joshua the son of Naue and Chaleb the son of Jephonne [still] lived of those men that went to spy out the land.
39 Markaasaa Muuse hadalkaas reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan u sheegay, kolkaasaa dadkii aad u baroorteen.
And Moses spoke these words to all the children of Israel; and the people mourned exceedingly.
40 Markaasaa aroor hore kaceen, oo buurta dhaladeeday fuuleen, oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Bal eeg, waa na kan, waanan u kacaynaa meeshii Rabbigu noo ballanqaaday, maxaa yeelay, waannu dembaabnay.
And they rose early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain, saying, Behold, we that are here will go up to the place of which the Lord has spoken, because we have sinned.
41 Kolkaasaa Muuse yidhi, War Rabbiga amarkiisa maxaad ugu xadgudbaysaan, waayo, taasu faa'iido idiinma lahaan doonto?
And Moses said, Why do you transgress the word of the Lord? you shall not prosper.
42 Halkaas ha u kicina, waayo, Rabbigu idinma dhex joogo ee yaan cadaawayaashiinnu idin layn.
Go not up, for the Lord is not with you; so shall you fall before the face of your enemies.
43 Waayo, halkaas waxaa idinka horreeya reer Camaaleq iyo reer Kancaan, oo seeftaad ku le'an doontaan, maxaa yeelay, Rabbiga lasocodkiisii dib baad uga noqoteen, oo sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu idinla jiri maayo.
For Amalec and the Chananite [are] there before you, and you shall fall by the sword; because you have disobeyed the Lord and turned aside, and the Lord will not be amongst you.
44 Laakiinse iyagii waxay ku sii adkaysteen inay buurta dhaladeedii fuulaan, habase yeeshee Muuse iyo sanduuqii axdiga Rabbigu xeradii kama ay bixin.
And having forced their passage, they went up to the top of the mountain; but the ark of the covenant of the Lord and Moses stirred not out of the camp.
45 Kolkaasay reer Camaaleq iyo reer Kancaan oo buurta degganaa hoos u degeen, oo intay laayeen ayay tan iyo Xormaah eryadeen.
And Amalec and the Chananite that lived in that mountain came down, and routed them, and destroyed them to Herman; and they returned to the camp.
