Markos 8
1 Maalmahaas dadkii aad buu u badnaa oo waxay cunaanna ma haysan, markaasaa Ciise xertiisii u yeedhay oo ku yidhi,
In those days, there being, again a large multitude, and they not having any thing to eat, calling near the disciples, he saith unto them—
2 Dadka badan ayaan u naxariisanayaa, waayo, durba saddex maalmood ayay ila joogeen, oo waxay cunaanna ma haystaan.
I am moved with compassion towards the multitude, because, already three days, abide they with me, and they have nothing to eat;
3 Haddii aan guryahooda u diro, iyagoo sooman, jidkay ku itaalbeeli doonaan, waayo, qaarkood waxay ka yimaadeen meel fog.
and, if dismiss them fasting unto their home, they will be exhausted in the way, —and, certain of them, are, from afar.
4 Kolkaasaa xertiisii u jawaabtay, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Meeshan cidlada ah xaggee looga heli karaa kibis dadkanu ka dhergaan?
And his disciples answered him—Whence shall any one be able, here, to fill, these, with bread, in a desert?
5 Goortaasuu weyddiiyey, Immisa kibsood baad haysaan? Waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Toddoba.
And he was questioning them—How many loaves have ye? and they said—Seven.
6 Kolkaasuu dadkii badnaa ku amray inay dhulka fadhiistaan. Markaasuu toddobadii kibsood soo qaaday, oo goortuu ku mahadnaqay ayuu kala jejebiyey oo xertiisii siiyey inay hortooda dhigaan. Markaasay dadkii badnaa hor dhigeen.
And he sendeth word to the multitude, to fall back upon the ground. And, taking the seven loaves, giving thanks, he brake, and was giving unto his disciples, that they might be setting before them; and they set before the multitude.
7 Waxay haysteen in yar oo kalluun yaryar ah. Oo intuu barakeeyey, wuxuu ku amray inay kuwaasna hortooda dhigaan.
And they had a few small fishes; and, blessing them, he bade them set, these also, before them.
8 Markaasay cuneen oo dhergeen; kolkaasay soo ururiyeen toddoba dambiilood oo ka buuxa jajabkii hadhay.
And they did eat, and were filled, and took up remainders of broken pieces, seven hampers.
9 Kuwii cunayna waxay ku dhowaayeen afar kun, markaasuu diray.
Now they were about four thousand; and he dismissed them.
10 Kolkiiba xertiisii ayuu doonni la fuulay, oo wuxuu yimid dhinacyada Dalmanuuta.
And, straightway, entering into the boat with his disciples, he came into the parts of Dalmanutha;
11 Markaasaa Farrisiintu u soo baxday, oo waxay bilaabeen inay wax weyddiiyaan, oo waxay ka doonayeen inuu calaamo cirka ka tuso, si ay u jirrabaan.
and forth came the Pharisees, and began discussing with him, seeking of him, a sign from the heaven, testing him.
12 Intuu ruuxiisa ka taahay ayuu yidhi, Qarnigan muxuu calaamo u doondoonayaa? Runtii waxaan idinku leeyahay, Qarnigan calaamo lama siin doono.
And, deeply sighing in his spirit, he saith—Why, doth this generation seek, a sign? Verily, I say—there shall, not be given, to this generation, a sign.
13 Markaasuu ka tegey oo haddana doonniduu fuulay oo dhanka kale u kacay.
And leaving them, again, embarking, he departed unto the other side.
14 Xertii waxay illoobeen inay kibis soo qaataan, oo doonnida kibis kuma ay haysan mid keliya maahane.
And they forgot to take loaves, and, save one loaf, they had nothing with them in the boat.
15 Markaasuu wuxuu ku amray, oo ku yidhi, Iska eega oo iska jira khamiirka Farrisiinta iyo khamiirka Herodos.
And he began charging them, saying—Mind! beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod!
16 Markaasay isla wada hadleen, oo isku yidhaahdeen, Sababtaasu waa kibistii aannan haysan aawadeed.
And they began deliberating one with another, because they had no loaves.
17 Ciise oo gartay ayaa ku yidhi, Maxaad isu la hadlaysaan? Ma kibistii aydnaan haysan aawadeed ba? Miyaydnaan weli arkin oo aydnaan garanaynin? Qalbigiinnu weli ma engegan yahay?
And, taking note, he saith unto them—Why do ye deliberate, because ye have no, loaves? Not yet perceive ye, neither understand, —keep ye your hearts, hardened?
18 Indho baad leedihiin, miyaydnaan waxba arkaynin? Dhegona waad leedihiin, miyaydnaan waxba maqlaynin oo aydnaan xusuusnayn?
Eyes having, see ye not? and ears having, hear ye not? and remember ye not
19 Goortii aan shantii kibsood shantii kun u kala jejebiyey, immisa dambiilood oo jajab ka buuxa ayaad soo ururiseen? Waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Laba iyo toban.
when, the five loaves, I brake unto the five thousand, how many baskets, full of broken pieces, ye took up? They say unto him—Twelve, —
20 Oo goortii aan toddobadii kibsood afartii kun u kala jejebiyey, immisa dambiilood oo jajab ka buuxa ayaad soo ururiseen? Waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Toddoba.
When the seven, unto the four thousand, how many hampers, full measure, of broken pieces, ye took up? And they say unto him—Seven. And he was saying unto them—
21 Wuxuuna ku yidhi, Miyaydnaan weli garanaynin?
Not yet, do ye understand?
22 Markaasay yimaadeen Beytsayda. Oo waxay u keeneen nin indha la' oo ay ka baryeen inuu taabto.
And they come into Bethsaida. And they bring unto him one blind, and beseech him that him, he would touch.
23 Markaasuu ninkii indhaha la'aa gacanta qabtay, oo tuulada dibadda uga saaray, oo goortuu indhaha kaga tufay oo gacmihiisii saaray, wuxuu weyddiiyey, Wax ma arkaysaa?
And, laying hold of the hand of the blind man, he brought him forth outside the village, and, spitting into his eyes, laying his hands upon him, he was asking him—Anything, seest thou?
24 Kor buu u eegay oo yidhi, Waxaan arkayaa niman, oo waxay ii le'eg yihiin sida geedo socda.
and, looking up, he was saying—I see men, because, like trees, I behold them walking
25 Kolkaasuu mar kale gacmihiisii indhaha ka saaray. Markaasuu aad iyo aad wax u eegay, wuuna bogsaday, oo wax walba bayaan buu u arkay.
Then again, put he his hands upon his eyes, and he saw clearly, and was restored, and was seeing distinctly, in broad splendour, all things together.
26 Kolkaasuu gurigiisii u diray, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Tuulada ha gelin.
And he sent him away unto his house, saying—Not even into the village, mayest thou enter.
27 Markaasaa Ciise iyo xertiisii waxay tageen oo galeen tuulooyinka Kaysariya Filibos. Xertiisii ayuu jidka ku weyddiiyey, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Dadku yay igu sheegaan?
And forth went Jesus and his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea of Philip. And, in the way, he was questioning his disciples, saying unto them—Who, are men saying that I am?
28 Waxay yidhaahdeen, Yooxanaa Baabtiisaha, qaarna, Eliyaas, qaar kalena, Nebiyada midkood.
And they answered him, saying—John the Immerser, and, others, Elijah, —and, others, One of the prophets.
29 Markaasuu weyddiiyey, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Idinkuse yaad igu sheegtaan? Butros ayaa u jawaabay oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Waxaad tahay Masiixa.
And, he, went on to question them—But, who, say, ye, that I am? Peter, answering, saith unto him—Thou, art, the Christ.
30 Markaasuu ku amray inayan ninna isaga u sheegin.
And he straitly charged them, that, no one, they should tell concerning him.
31 Kolkaasuu bilaabay inuu baro inay waajib ugu tahay Wiilka Aadanahu inuu wax badan ku xanuunsado, oo ay waayeellada iyo wadaaddada sare iyo culimmadu diidaan, oo la dilo, oo saddex maalmood dabadeed uu soo sara kaco.
And he began to be teaching them—The Son of Man, must needs suffer many things, and be rejected by the Elders and the High-priests and the Scribes, —and be slain; and, after three days, arise.
32 Hadalkaas bayaan buu ugu hadlay. Markaasaa Butros gees u waday oo bilaabay inuu canaanto.
And, openly, was he speaking the word. And Peter, taking him aside, began to rebuke him.
33 Laakiin Ciise markuu soo jeestay oo xertiisii eegay, ayuu Butros canaantay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Gadaal iga mar, Shayddaan yahow, waayo, waxyaalaha Ilaah kama fikirtid, waxaadse ka fikirtaa waxyaalaha dadka.
But, he, turning round and looking upon his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith—Withdraw behind me, Satan! because thou art not regarding the things, of God, but the things, of men.
34 Goortaasuu dadkii badnaa u yeedhay iyo xertiisiiba oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Mid uun hadduu doonayo inuu iga daba yimaado, ha dayriyo doonistiisa, iskutallaabtiisana ha soo qaato oo ha i soo raaco.
And, calling near the multitude with his disciples, he said unto them—If anyone willeth, after me, to come, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and be following me.
35 Kan doonaya inuu naftiisa badbaadiyo, waa lumin doonaa, laakiin kan naftiisa u lumiya aawaday iyo injiilka aawadii, kaasaa badbaadin doona.
For, whosoever willeth, his own life, to save, shall lose it, but, whosoever shall lose his life for the sake [of me and] of the glad-message, shall save it;
36 Waayo, nin maxay u taraysaa hadduu dunida oo dhan helo oo uu naftiisa lumiyo?
For, what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and be made to forfeit his life?
37 Nin muxuu u bixiyaa naftiisa beddelkeeda?
For what can a man, give, in exchange for his life?
38 Haddaba ku alla kii qarnigan dembiga iyo sinada leh kaga xishooda aniga iyo hadalkaygaba, Wiilka Aadanaha ayaa ka xishoon doona isaga markuu ammaantii Aabbihiis kula yimaado malaa'igaha quduuska ah.
For, whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also, will be ashamed, of him, whensoever he shall come, in the glory of his Father, with the holy messengers.
