< Luukos 16 >
1 Haddana wuxuu xertii ku yidhi, Waxaa jiri jiray nin hodan ah oo wakiil lahaa, kan loogu ashtakeeyey inuu alaabtiisa khasaarinayay.
Then He said further to His disciples: “There was a certain rich man who had a manager, who was accused to him of wasting his goods.
2 Markaasuu u yeedhay oo ku yidhi, Waa maxay waxan kugu saabsan ee aan maqlayo? I sii xisaabtii wakiilnimadaada, waayo, hadda ka dib wakiil sii ahaan kari maysid.
So he called him in and said to him: ‘What is this I hear about you? Render an account of your stewardship, because you can no longer be manager.’
3 Markaasaa wakiilkii isku yidhi, Maxaan sameeyaa, waayo, sayidkayga ayaa wakiilnimadii iga qaadaya? Itaal aan wax ku qodo ma lihi, inaan dawarsadona waan ka xishoonayaa.
Then the manager said within himself: ‘What shall I do? My master is taking the management away from me. I do not have strength to dig; I am ashamed to beg
4 Waan garanayaa waxaan samaynayo, in goortii wakiilnimada layga saaro ay dadku guryahooda iigu dhowayn doonaan.
—I know what I will do, so that whenever I am removed from the management they may receive me into their houses.’
5 Markaasuu u yeedhay mid walba oo sayidkiisu dayn ku lahaa. Kii hore ayuu ku yidhi, Sayidkaygu immisuu kugu leeyahay?
Summoning each one of his master's debtors, he said to the first, ‘How much do you owe my master?’
6 Wuxuu yidhi, Boqol qiyaasood oo saliid ah. Markaasuu ku yidhi, Wixii laguu qoray soo qaad, oo dhaqso u fadhiiso oo qor, Konton.
And he said, ‘A hundred baths of olive oil.’ So he said to him, ‘Take your bill and sit down quickly and write fifty.’
7 Markaasuu wuxuu mid kale ku yidhi, Immisuu kugu leeyahay? Isaguna wuxuu yidhi, Boqol qiyaasood oo sarreen ah. Markaasuu ku yidhi. Wixii laguu qoray soo qaad, oo qor, Siddeetan.
Then he said to another, ‘And how much do you owe?’ And he said, ‘A hundred measures of wheat.’ So he said to him, ‘Take your bill and write eighty.’
8 Sayidkiisii ayaa wakiilkii xaqa darnaa faaniyey, waayo, si caqli leh ayuu u sameeyey, waayo, wiilashii wakhtigan waxay wiilasha iftiinka kaga caqli badan yihiin waxa qarnigooda ku saabsan. (aiōn )
The master even ‘commended’ the dishonest manager, because he had acted shrewdly. The sons of this age are shrewder in their own generation than the sons of the Light. (aiōn )
9 Oo waxaan idinku leeyahay, Saaxiibbo ku samaysta maalka xaqdarrada in goortuu dhammaado ay idiinku dhoweeyaan degmooyinka weligood ah. (aiōnios )
“I even say to you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous mammon, so that whenever you fail, they may receive you into the eternal dwellings! (aiōnios )
10 Kan waxa u yar aamin ku ah, ayaa weliba wax badan aamin ku ah. Kan waxa u yar ku xaqdaran, ayaa waxa badanna ku xaqdaran.
He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much, and he who is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much.
11 Haddii aydnaan maalka xaqdaran aamin ku ahayn, waxa run ah yaa idinku aaminaya?
If therefore you have not been faithful with the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the genuine?
12 Haddii aydnaan wixii qof kale leeyahay aamin ku ahayn, yaa idin siinaya wixiinna?
And if you have not been faithful in what belongs to another, who will give you what is your own?
13 Midiidinna laba sayid uma shaqayn karo, waayo, mid buu nacayaa, kan kalena wuu jeclaanayaa, ama mid buu la jirayaa, kan kalena wuu quudhsanayaa. Uma wada shaqayn kartaan Ilaah iyo maal.
No servant can serve two masters; either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon!”
14 Farrisiintii lacagta jeclayd ayaa waxaas oo dhan maqashay, wayna ku qosleen.
Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were also listening to all these things, and they were ridiculing Him.
15 Markaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Idinku waxaad tihiin kuwa dadka hortooda isku soo caddeeya inaad xaq tihiin, laakiin Ilaah waa garanayaa qalbiyadiinna, waayo, wixii dadka dhexdooda lagu sarraysiiyaa, Ilaah hortiisa waa ka karaahiyo.
So He said to them: “You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. That which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.
16 Sharciga iyo nebiyadu waxay jireen ilaa Yooxanaa; tan iyo wakhtigaas injiilka boqortooyada Ilaah waa lagu wacdiyey, oo mid walbaba xoog buu ku galaa.
The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the Kingdom of God is being proclaimed, and every one is trying to force his way into it.
17 Laakiin in sharciga dhibic keliya ka dhacdo waxaa ka hawl yar in cirka iyo dhulku ay idlaadaan.
But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one tittle of the Law to fail.
18 Mid walba oo naagtiisa fura oo mid kale guursadaa wuu sinaystaa, oo kii guursadaa mid nin laga furay wuu sinaystaa.
“Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and whoever marries her who is divorced from her husband commits adultery.
19 Waxaa jiri jiray nin hodan ah oo dhar gududan oo jilicsan sidan jiray, maalin walbana barwaaqo aad buu ugu farxi jiray.
“Now there was a certain rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen, living in luxury every day.
20 Oo waxaa albaabkiisa la dhigi jiray miskiin Laasaros la odhan jiray, isagoo boogo miidhan leh,
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores, who had been placed at his gate,
21 oo doonaya in la siiyo jajabkii miiska ninkii hodanka ahaa ka dhacay. Eeyduna way iman jireen oo boogihiisa leefleefi jireen.
just wanting to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man's table—why even the dogs would come and lick his sores!
22 Waxaa dhacay inuu miskiinkii dhintay, oo malaa'igahu waxay u qaadeen laabtii Ibraahim. Ninkii hodanka ahaana waa dhintay, waana la aasay.
In due time the beggar died and was carried away to Abraham's bosom by the angels. “The rich man also died and was buried.
23 Intuu Haadees ku jiray ayuu indhihiisa kor u qaaday isagoo aad u silcaya; wuxuuna meel fog ka arkay Ibraahim, iyo Laasaros oo laabtiisa ku tiirsan. (Hadēs )
And in Hades he looked up and saw Abraham at a distance, and Lazarus very close to him. And being in torment, (Hadēs )
24 Markaasuu qayliyey oo yidhi, Aabbe Ibraahimow, ii naxariiso, oo Laasaros ii soo dir inuu fartiisa caaraddeeda biyo ku tiinbiyo oo carrabkayga ku qabowjiyo, waayo, anigu ololkan ayaan ku silcayaa.
he called out, saying, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; because I am tormented by this flame!’
25 Laakiin Ibraahim wuxuu ku yidhi, Wiil yahow, xusuuso inaad waxaagii wanaagsanaa heshay intii aad noolayd, si la mid ah ayuu Laasaros waxa xun helay, laakiin haddeer isaga halkan ayaa lagu raaxaysiiyey, adiguse waad silcaysaa.
But Abraham said: ‘Child, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus had bad things; but now he is being comforted, and you tormented.
26 Weliba annaga iyo idinka waxaa layna dhex dhigay bohol aad u weyn, si kuwa doonaya inay halkan ka sii tallaabaan inay idiin yimaadaan aanay u karin, oo kuwa xaggaasna ayna noogu soo tallaabin.
And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can anyone from there cross over to us.’
27 Markaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Aabbow, waxaan kaa baryayaa haddaba inaad guriga aabbahay isaga u dirtid,
Then he said, ‘I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father's house,
28 waayo, shan walaalo ah baan leeyahay, si uu ugu warramo inaanay iyaguna meeshan silaca leh iman.
because I have five brothers, so that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.’
29 Laakiin Ibraahim wuxuu ku yidhi, Waxay leeyihiin Muuse iyo nebiyada ee ha maqleen.
Abraham said to him, ‘They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.’
30 Markaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Maya, Aabbe Ibraahimow, laakiin haddii qof kuwii dhintay uga tago, way toobadkeeni doonaan.
So he said to him, ‘Oh no, father Abraham—if someone from the dead should go to them, they will repent!’
31 Wuxuuse ku yidhi, Haddii ay maqli waayaan Muuse iyo nebiyada, in kastoo qof kuwii dhintay ka soo sara kaco, la oggolaysiin kari maayo inay rumaystaan.
He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone should rise from the dead.’”
