< Luukos 14 >
1 Maalin sabti ah markuu galay mid ka mid ah kuwa Farrisiinta u sarreeya gurigiisa inuu kibis cuno, waxaa dhacay inay fiirinayeen.
It happened on the Sabbath Day when he went into the house of a certain ruler among Pharisees to take a meal, that they were watching him.
2 Oo bal eeg, waxaa hortiisa joogay nin uurweynaad qaba.
And lo! there was in front of him a man who had dropsy.
3 Markaasaa Ciise u jawaabay oo kuwii sharciga yiqiin iyo Farrisiintii ku yidhi, isagoo leh, Ma xalaal baa in sabtida wax la bogsiiyo, mise maya?
So Jesus questioned the lawyers and the Pharisees, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath Day or not?"
4 Laakiin way aamuseen. Isaguse, intuu ninkii qabtay, ayuu bogsiiyey, markaasuu sii daayay.
They kept silent. Then Jesus took him and healed him and let him go.
5 Wuxuu iyaga ku yidhi, Kiinnee baa leh dameer ama dibi ceel ku dhacay oo aan maalin sabti ah dhaqso uga soo bixinaynin?
And to them he said, "Which of you when an ox or ass has fallen into a well, will at once pull him out on the Sabbath Day?"
6 Wayna uga jawaabi kari waayeen waxyaalahaas.
They could not answer this.
7 Goortuu arkay kuwii loo yeedhay siday kursiyada hore u doorteen, ayuu masaal kula hadlay oo ku yidhi,
He told a parable to the guests when he noticed how they began choosing the best seats. He said to them.
8 Markii nin kuugu yeedho aroos, kursiga hore ha fadhiisan, waaba intaasoo isagu nin kaa murwad weyn ugu yeedho,
"When you are invited by any one to a marriage-feast, do not sit down in the best seat, lest a guest more distinguished than yourself has been invited, and your host come to you and say,
9 oo kii isaga iyo adiga idiin yeedhay uu yimaado oo kugu yidhaahdo, Kan meel sii, oo markaasaad bilaabaysaa inaad meesha dambe ceeb ku fadhiisato.
"‘Give place to this man,’ and then with mortification you proceed to take the lowest place.
10 Laakiin goortii laguu yeedho, tag oo meesha u hoosaysa fadhiiso, si kii kuu yeedhay kolkuu yimaado uu kuugu yidhaahdo, Saaxiibow, sare u soco. Markaasaad ammaan ku lahaan doontaa kuwa cuntada kula fadhiya oo dhan hortooda.
"But when you are invited, go and sit down in the lowest place, so that when your host arrives he may say to you, ‘My friend, come up higher.’ Then you will be honored before the other guest.
11 Waayo, mid kasta oo isa sarraysiiya waa la hoosaysiin doonaa; oo kii is-hoosaysiiyana waa la sarraysiin doonaa.
"For every one who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he who humbles himself shall be exalted."
12 Wuxuuna ku yidhi kii u yeedhay, Goortaad qado ama casho samayso, ha u yeedhin saaxiibbadaada ama walaalahaa ama xigaalkaa ama derisyadaada hodanka ah, waaba intaasoo iyaguna ay markooda kuu yeedhaan, oo ay abaalgud kugu noqotaa.
Also to his host who had invited him, he continued, saying. "When you are making a dinner-party or a supper, do not invite your friends, or your brothers, or your relatives, or your rich neighbors, lest it chance that they invite you in return, and a recompense be made by you.
13 Laakiin goortaad diyaafad samayso waxaad u yeedhaa masaakiinta iyo kuwa laxaadka la' iyo curyaannada iyo indhoolayaasha,
"But when you make a reception, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.
14 oo aad barakaysnaan doontaa, waayo, iyagu maleh waxa ay kuugu abaalgudaan, laakiin waxaa laguu abaalgudi doonaa wakhtiga sarakicidda kuwa xaqa ah.
"Then you will be blessed, because they have no means to repay you, but you shall be paid in the Resurrection of the Just."
15 Kuwa cuntada ula fadhiyey midkood, goortuu waxaas maqlay, wuxuu isaga ku yidhi, Waxaa barakaysan kan kibis ku cuni doona boqortooyada Ilaah.
One of his fellow guest who was listening to him, said to him, "Blessed are those who eat bread in the kingdom of God."
16 Wuxuuse ku yidhi, Nin baa casho weyn sameeyey, oo dad badan u yeedhay,
Jesus answered. "A certain man was making a great feast to which he invited many guests.
17 oo saacaddii cashada ayuu addoonkiisii u diray inuu kuwii loo yeedhay ku yidhaahdo, Kaalaya, waayo, haatan wax waluba waa diyaar.
"At dinnertime he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’
18 Markaasay kulligood waxay bilaabeen inay fikir keliya ku marmarsiiyoodaan. Kii u horreeyey ayaa ku yidhi, Beer baan iibsaday, oo waa inaan tago oo aan soo arko. Waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad iga raalli ahaato.
"And they all, without exception, proceeded to excuse themselves. The first told him. ‘I have bought a field, and must needs go and see it. Pray have me excused.’
19 Mid kale ayaa yidhi, Waxaan iibsaday shan qindi oo dibi ah, oo waan tegayaa inaan imtixaamo. Waxaan kaa baryayaa inaad iga raalli ahaato.
"The second said. ‘I have bought five yolk of oxen and am on my way to try them. I pray that you will have me excused.’
20 Mid kale ayaa yidhi, Naag baan guursaday, sidaa darteed ma iman karo.
"‘I have taken a wife,’ said the another, ‘and for that reason I am unable to come.’
21 Markaasaa addoonkii yimid, oo waxaas ayuu sayidkiisii u sheegay. Kolkaasaa sayidkii gurigu cadhooday, oo wuxuu addoonkiisii ku yidhi, Dhaqso jidadka iyo surimmada magaalada u bax oo soo kaxee masaakiinta iyo kuwa laxaadka la' iyo indhoolayaasha iyo curyaannada.
"So the slave came and presented all these answers to his master. Then the master of the house was indignant, and said to his slave. ‘Go out, quickly, into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in hither the poor, the maimed, the blind, the lame.’
22 Kolkaasaa addoonkii ku yidhi, Sayidow, waxaad amartay waa la yeelay, oo weli meel baa bannaan.
"And the slave said, ‘My master, your orders have been carried out, but yet there is room.’
23 Markaasaa sayidkii wuxuu addoonkii ku yidhi, Jidadka iyo wadiiqooyinka oodaha u bax, oo dadka ku qasab inay soo galaan, si uu gurigaygu u buuxsamo.
"Said the master to his slave. ‘Go out into the roads and the hedges, and make them come in, so that my house may be filled.
24 Waayo, waxaan idinku leeyahay, Nimankaas loo yeedhay midkoodna cashadayda dhadhamin maayo.
"‘For I tell you that not one of those invited guests shall taste my supper.’"
25 Waxaa isaga la socday dad badan. Markaasuu u jeestay, oo wuxuu ku yidhi,
Great crowds were along with him, and he turned to them and said.
26 Haddii qof ii yimaado oo aanu nicin aabbihiis iyo hooyadiis iyo afadiisa iyo carruurtiisa iyo walaalihiis, xataa naftiisana xer iima ahaan karo.
"If any one comes to me and does not hate father and his mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters, yes, and his own very life also, he cannot be a disciple of mine.
27 Ku alla kii aan iskutallaabtiisa soo qaadan oo aan iga daba iman, xer iima ahaan karo.
"Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after me, cannot be a disciple of mine.
28 Waayo, midkiinnee doonaya inuu noobiyad dhiso oo aan kolkii hore fadhiisan inuu xisaabo intay ku kacayso, inuu ogaado inuu haysto wax uu ku dhammeeyo iyo in kale?
"Which of you who is desirous of building a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, to see if he has the means to complete it?
29 Waaba intaasoo markuu aasaaska dhigo oo uu dhammayn kari waayo, kuwa eegaya oo dhammu ay bilaabaan inay ku qoslaan,
"Lest it happen that after he has laid the foundations and is unable to complete it, all who see it shall begin to jeer at him saying,
30 iyagoo leh, Ninkanu wuxuu bilaabay inuu wax dhiso, waana dhammayn kari waayay.
"‘This fellow began to build and could not finish.’
31 Ama boqorkee u tegaya inuu boqor kale dagaal u baxo, isagoo aan kolkii hore fadhiisan oo tashan inuu toban kun kala hor tegi karo kan labaatan kun ula imanaya?
"Or what king as he goes forth to join battle with another king in war does not sit down first and deliberate whether he can meet with ten thousand men the one who is advancing against him with twenty thousand?
32 Ama haddii kale intuu kan kale weli fog yahay, ayuu ergo soo diraa oo uu weyddiistaa wax lagu heshiiyo.
"If he cannot, while the other king is yet a great way off, he sends an embassy to ask conditions of peace.
33 Sidaa darteed midkiin walba oo aan ka tegin wuxuu leeyahay oo dhan, xer iima ahaan karo.
"Just so any one of you who does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple.
34 Haddaba cusbadu waa wanaagsan tahay, laakiin haddii cusbadu dhadhan beesho, maxaa lagu cusbaynayaa?
"Salt is good, but if even the salt have lost its flavor, with what shall it be seasoned?
35 Uma ay wanaagsana dhulka ama meeshii digada, waase la tuuraa. Kan dhego wax lagu maqlo lahu, ha maqlo.
"It is fit neither for the land nor the dung-hill; men cast it out. He who has ears to hear let him listen to this!"
