Forsothe Abymelech, the sone of Gerobaal, yede in to Sichem to the britheren of his modir; and he spak to hem, and to al the kynrede of `the hows of his modir, and seide,
2 Waan idin baryayaaye, La hadla dadka Shekem oo dhan, oo bal weyddiiya, Kee baa idiin wanaagsan, in wiilasha Yerubbacal oo ah toddobaatan ay idiin wada taliyaan, mise in mid keliyahu idiin taliyo? Oo waxaad kaloo xusuusataan inaan ahay laftiinnii iyo hilibkiinnii.
Speke ye to alle the men of Sichem, What is betere to you, that seuenti men, alle the sones of Gerobaal, be lordis of you, whether that o man be lord to you? and also biholde, for Y am youre boon, and youre fleisch.
3 Markaasay abtiyaashiis ula hadleen dadkii Shekem oo dhan, oo waxay u sheegeen erayadiisii oo dhan; kolkaasay qalbiyadoodii u leexdeen inay Abiimeleg raacaan; waayo, waxay yidhaahdeen, Isagu waa walaalkeen.
And the britheren of his modir spaken of hym alle these wordis to alle the men of Sichem; and bowiden her hertis aftir Abymelech, and seiden, He is oure brother.

And thei yauen to hym seuenti weiytis of siluer of the temple of Baal Berith; and he hiride to hym therof men pore and hauynge no certeyn dwellynge, and thei sueden hym.
5 Markaasuu reerkii aabbihiis ugu tegey Coofraah, oo wuxuu isku dhagax dushiis ku laayay walaalihiis ilmo Yerubbacal oo ahaa toddobaatan qof; laakiinse garuddambayskii Yerubbacal oo ahaa Yootam ayaa hadhay, waayo, wuu dhuuntay.
And he cam in to `the hows of his fadir in Ephra, and killide hise britheren the sones of Gerobaal, `seuenti men, on o stoon. And Joathan, the leste sone of Gerobaal, lefte, and was hid.
6 Markaasaa waxaa soo shiray oo isku soo ururay dadkii Shekem oo dhan iyo reer Millo oo dhan, oo intay tageen ayay Abiimeleg boqor ka dhigteen, oo waxay ku ag boqreen geedkii tiirkii ku yiil Shekem.
Forsothe alle the men of Sichem, and alle the meynees of the citee of Mello, weren gadirid to gydere, and thei yeden, and maden Abymelech kyng, bysidis the ook that stood in Sichem.
7 Oo markii taas loo sheegay Yootam ayuu tegey oo wuxuu isku taagay Buur Gerisiim dusheedii, oo intuu qayliyey ayuu codkiisii kor u qaaday oo yidhi, Bal i maqla, dadka reer Shekemow, in Ilaah idin maqlo.
And whanne this thing was teld to Joathan, he yede, and stood in the cop of the hil Garisym, and cried with `vois reisid, and seide, Ye men of Sichem, here me, so that God here you.
8 Waa baa dhirtu damacday inay boqor subkaan, markaasay geedsaytuun ku yidhaahdeen, Kaalay oo boqor noo noqo.
Trees yeden to anoynte a kyng on hem; and tho seiden to the olyue tre, Comaunde thou to vs.
9 Laakiinse geedsaytuunkii wuxuu ku yidhi iyagii, Miyaan barwaaqadayda ka tagaa, tan lagu sharfa Ilaah iyo dadkaba, oo miyaan u kacaa inaan hore iyo dib uga lulmado geedaha dushooda?
Whiche answeride, Whether Y may forsake my fatnesse, which bothe Goddis and men vsen, and come, that Y be auaunsid among trees?
10 Markaasay dhirtii ku yidhaahdeen geedberde, Kaalay oo boqor noo noqo.
And the trees seiden to the fige tree, Come thou, and take the rewme on vs.
11 Laakiinse geedberdihii wuxuu ku yidhi, Miyaan ka tagaa macaankayga iyo midhahayga wanaagsan, oo miyaan u kacaa inaan hore iyo dib uga lulmado geedaha dushooda?
Which answeride to hem, Whether Y may forsake my swetnesse and swetteste fruytis, and go that Y be auaunsid among othere trees?
12 Markaasay dhirtii ku yidhaahdeen geedcanab, Kaalay oo boqor noo noqo.
Also `the trees spaken to the vyne, Come thou, and comaunde to vs.
13 Markaasaa geedcanabkii wuxuu ku yidhi iyagii, Miyaan ka tagaa khamrigayga ka farxiya Ilaah iyo dadkaba, oo miyaan u kacaa inaan hore iyo dib uga lulmado geedaha dushooda?
Which answeride, Whether Y may forsake my wyn, that gladith God and men, and be auaunsid among othere trees?
14 Markaasaa dhirtii oo dhammu waxay ku yidhaahdeen gocondho, Kaalay oo boqor noo noqo.
And alle trees seiden to the ramne, ether theue thorn, Come thou, and be lord on vs.
15 Markaasaa gocondhadii waxay dhirtii ku tidhi, Haddaad daacad ii boqranaysaan, kaalaya oo hooskayga hadhsada; haddii kalese, dab ha ka soo baxo gocondhada oo ha laasto geedaha kedar la yidhaahdo oo Lubnaan.
Whiche answeride to hem, If ye maken me verili kyng to you, come ye, and reste vndur my schadewe; sotheli, if ye nylen, fier go out of the ramne, and deuoure the cedris of the Liban.
16 Haddaba haddaad daacad iyo si qumman ku socoteen, markii aad boqrateen Abiimeleg, iyo haddaad daacad kula macaamilooteen Yerubbacal iyo reerkiisii, oo aad u samayseen wixii uu idinka istaahilay;
Now therfor if riytfuli and without synne `ye han maad Abymelech kyng on you, and ye han do wel with Jerobaal, and with his hows, and ye han yolde while to the benefices of hym,
17 (waayo, aabbahay idinkuu idiin diriray oo aawadiin buu naftiisii u biimeeyey, oo wuxuu idinka soo samatabbixiyey gacantii reer Midyaan;
that fauyt for you, and yaf his lijf to perelis, that he schulde delyuere you fro the hond of Madian;
18 oo idinku maanta waxaad ku kacdeen reerkii aabbahay, oo waxaad isku dhagax ku layseen wiilashiisii oo ah toddobaatan qof, oo waxaad dadkii Shekem boqor uga dhigteen Abiimeleg oo ah wiilkii addoontiisa, maxaa yeelay, isagu waa walaalkiin; )
and ye han rise now ayens the hows of my fadir, and han slayn hyse sones, seuenti men, on o stoon, and `han maad Abymelech, sone of his handmayde, kyng on the dwelleris of Sichem, for he is youre brother;
19 haddaba haddaad maanta daacad iyo si qumman ula macaamilooteen Yerubbacal iyo reerkiisii, de markaas Abiimeleg ku reyreeya oo isna ha idinku reyreeyo;
therfor if ye han do riytfuli, and with out synne with Gerobaal and his hows, to dai be ye glad in Abymelech, and be he glad in you; but if ye han do weiwardli,
20 haddii kalese, dab ha ka soo baxo Abiimeleg, oo ha laasto dadka Shekem iyo reer Millo; oo dadka Shekem iyo reer Millona dab ha ka soo baxo, oo ha laasto Abiimeleg.
fier go out `of hym, and waste the dwelleris of Sichem, and the citee of Mello; and fier go out of the men of Sichem, and of the citee of Mello, and deuoure Abymelech.
21 Markaasaa Yootam orday oo cararay, oo wuxuu tegey Bi'ir, oo halkaasuu joogay cabsidii uu walaalkiis Abiimeleg ka qabay aawadeed.
And whanne he hadde seide these thingis, he fledde, and yede in to Berara, and dwellide there, for drede of Abymelech, his brother.
22 Oo Abiimelegna saddex sannadood buu amiir u ahaa reer binu Israa'iil.
And Abymelech regnede on Israel thre yeer.
23 Oo Ilaahna dadkii Shekem iyo Abiimeleg dhexdooda wuxuu u soo diray jinni; oo dadkii Shekemna way khiyaaneeyeen Abiimeleg,
And the Lord sente the worste spirit bitwixe Abymelech and the dwelleris of Sichem, whiche bigynnen to holde hym abomynable,
24 in dulmigii lagu sameeyey toddobaatankii wiil oo Yerubbacal uu yimaado, oo dhiiggoodii la saaro walaalkood Abiimeleg oo iyaga dilay, iyo dadkii reer Shekem oo gacmihiisa xoojiyey inuu laayo walaalihiis.
and to arette the felony of sleyng of seuenti sones of Gerobaal, and the schedyng out of her blood, in to Abymelech her brother, and to othere princes of Sichem, that hadden helpid hym.
25 Oo dadkii reer Shekemna waxay isagii buuraha dushooda u saareen rag gaadmo ah, oo iyana waxay dhaceen wax alla wixii jidkaas agtooda ah soo maray; oo taas waxaa loo sheegay Abiimeleg.
And thei settiden buyschementis ayens hym in the hiynesse of hillis; and the while thei abideden `the comyng of hym, thei hauntiden theftis, and token preies of men passynge forth; and it was teld to Abymelech.
26 Markaasaa Gacal ina Cebed ayaa yimid isagoo la socda walaalihiis, oo wuxuu tegey Shekem; oo dadkii reer Shekemna way isku halleeyeen isagii.
Forsothe Gaal, `the sone of Obed, cam with his britheren, and passide in to Siccima; at whos entryng the dwelleris of Sichem weren reisid, and yeden out `in to feeldis,
27 Markaasay beeraha tageen, oo canabkoodii soo gurteen, oo waxay ku tunteen midhihii canabka, wayna iideen, oo waxay galeen gurigii ilaahood, oo wax bay cuneen oo cabbeen, oo waxay caayeen Abiimeleg.
and wastiden vyneris, and `to-traden grapis; and with cumpeneys of syngeris maad thei entriden in to `the temple of her God, and among metis and drynkis thei cursiden Abymalech, while Gaal,
28 Markaasaa Gacal ina Cebed yidhi, Abiimeleg waa ayo? Shekemna waa ayo? Maxaynu ugu adeegna? Sow isagu ma aha ina Yerubbacal? Sirkaalkiisuna sow ma aha Sebul? U adeega dadkii reer Xamoor oo ahaa Shekem aabbihiis; laakiinse maxaynu ugu adeegnaa isaga?
the sone of Obed, criede, Who is this Abymelech? And what is Sichem, that we serue hym? Whether he is not the sone of Jerobaal, and made Zebul his seruaunt prince on the men of Emor, fadir of Sichem? Whi therfor schulen we serue hym?
29 Haddii Ilaah dadkan gacantayda hoos gelin lahaa, ogaada, Abiimeleg waan eryi lahaaye. Kolkaasuu ku yidhi Abiimeleg, Ciidankaaga soo badso oo soo bax.
`Y wolde, that sum man yaf this puple vndur myn hond, that Y schulde take awei Abimelech fro the myddis. And it was seid to Abymelech, Gadere thou the multitude of oost, and come thou.
30 Markii Sebul oo ahaa taliyihii magaaladu maqlay erayadii Gacal ina Cebed ayuu aad u cadhooday.
For whanne the wordis of Gaal, sone of Obed, weren herd, Zebul, the prynce of the citee, was ful wrooth;
31 Markaasuu hoos ahaan wargeeyayaal ugu diray Abiimeleg, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Bal eeg, Gacal ina Cebed iyo walaalihiis ayaa Shekem yimid, oo magaaladiina wuu kugu diray.
and he sente priueli messangeris to Abymelech, and seide, Lo! Gaal, sone of Obed, cam in to Siccymam, with hise britheren, and he excitith the citee to fiyte ayens thee;
32 Haddaba adiga iyo dadka kula jiraaba habeennimo soo kaca oo duurka ku soo dhuunta.
therfor rise thou bi niyt with the puple, which is with thee, and be thou hid in the feeld;
33 Oo subaxda markay qorraxdu soo baxdo waa inaad aroor hore soo kacdaa oo magaalada weerartaa; oo bal eeg, markii isaga iyo dadka la jiraa ay dagaal kuugu soo baxaan, markaasaad ku samayn doontaa sida kuu suurtowda.
and first in the morewtid, whanne the sunne rysith, falle on the citee; forsothe whanne he goth out with his puple ayens thee, do thou to hym that that thou maist.
34 Markaasaa Abiimeleg iyo dadkii la jiray oo dhammu habeennimo kaceen, oo waxay soo gaadeen Shekem, iyagoo afar guuto ah.
Therfor Abymelech roos with al his oost bi nyyt, and settide buyschementis bisidis Siccimam, in foure placis.
35 Markaasaa Gacal ina Cebed baxay, oo wuxuu istaagay iridda magaalada laga soo galo; oo Abiimeleg iyo dadkii la jirayna waxay ka soo kaceen gaadmadii.
And Gaal, the sone of Obed, yede out, and stood in the entryng of `the yate of the citee. Forsothe Abymelech and al the oost with hym roos fro the place of buyschementis.
36 Oo Gacalna markuu arkay dadkii wuxuu Sebul ku yidhi, Bal eeg, dad baa buuraha dushooda ka soo degaya. Sebulna wuxuu ku yidhi isagii, War waxaad arkaysaa oo dad moodaysaa buuraha hooskooda.
And whanne Gaal hadde seyn the puple, he seide to Zebul, Lo! a multitude cometh doun fro the hillis. To whom he answeride, Thou seest the schadewis of hillis as the `heedis of men, and thou art disseyued bi this errour.
37 Oo Gacal haddana wuu hadlay oo wuxuu yidhi, Bal day, dad baa dhulka dhexdiisa soo socda, oo guutona waxay soo ag socotaa geedkii Mecooneniim.
And eft Gaal seide, Lo! a puple cometh doun fro the myddis of erthe, `that is, fro the hiynesse of hillis, and o cumpeny cometh bi the weie that biholdith the ook.
38 Markaasaa Sebul wuxuu ku yidhi isagii, Meeh afkaagii aad ku tidhi, Waa ayo Abiimeleg oo maxaynu ugu adeegnaa? Sow kanu ma aha dadkii aad quudhsatay? Haddaba waan ku baryayaaye, u bax oo la dirir.
To whom Zebul seide, Where is now thi mouth, bi which thou spekist, Who is Abymelech, that we serue hym? Whether this is not the puple, whom thou dispisidist? Go thou out, and fiyte ayens hym.
39 Oo Gacalna intuu baxay ayuu hor maray dadkii reer Shekem, oo wuxuu la diriray Abiimeleg.
Therfor Gaal yede, while the puple of Sichen abood; and he fauyt ayens Abymelech.
40 Oo Abiimelegna wuu eryooday Gacal, oo isna wuu cararay, oo dad badan oo dhaawac ah ayaa kaga dhacay tan iyo iridda magaalada laga galo.
Which pursuede Gaal fleynge, and constreynede to go in to the citee; and ful many of his part felde doun `til to the yate of the citee.
41 Oo Abiimelegna wuxuu degay Aruumaah, Sebulna wuu eryay Gacal iyo walaalihiisba, oo wuu u diiday inay Shekem degganaadaan.
And Abymelech sat in Ranna; sotheli Zebul puttide Gaal and hise felowis out of the citee, and suffride not to dwelle ther ynne.
42 Oo subaxdii dambe ayaa dadkii duurka tegey oo ay Abiimeleg u sheegeen wixii dhacay.
Therfor in the dai suynge the puple yede out in to the feeld; and whanne this thing was teld to Abymelech,
43 Markaasuu dadkii kaxaystay, oo intuu u kala qaybiyey saddex guuto ayuu duurka ku gaaday; markaasuu intuu wax fiiriyey ayuu arkay dadkii magaalada ka soo baxayay oo intuu ku kacay ayuu laayay.
he took his oost, and departide `in to thre cumpenyes, and settide buyschementis in the feeldis; and he siy that the puple yede out of the citee, and he roos,
44 Markaasay Abiimeleg iyo guutooyinkii la jiray hore u soo rooreen, oo waxay istaageen iriddii magaalada laga soo geli jiray; oo labadii guutona waxay ku yaaceen dadkii duurka joogay oo dhan, wayna wada laayeen.
and felde on hem with his cumpeny, and enpugnyde and bisegide the citee. Sothely twei cumpenyes yeden aboute opynli bi the feeld, and pursueden aduersaries.
45 Oo Abiimelegna maalintaas oo dhan wuxuu la dirirayay magaaladii; oo wuu qabsaday magaaladii, oo dadkii ku jirayna wuu wada laayay; oo magaaladiina wuu dumiyey, wuxuuna ku daadiyey cusbo.
Certis Abymelech fauyt ayens the citee in al that dai, which he took, whanne the dwelleris weren slayn, and that citee was destried, so that he spreynte abrood salt ther ynne.
46 Oo dadkii ku jiray munaaraddii Shekem markay taas maqleen, ayay galeen qalcaddii ku tiil gurigii ilaahooda Beriid la odhan jiray.
And whanne thei, that dwelliden in the tour of Sichem, hadde herd this, thei entriden in to the temple of her god Berith, where thei hadden maad boond of pees with hym; and of that the place took name, which place was ful strong.
47 Markaasaa Abiimeleg waxaa loo sheegay in dadkii ku jiray munaaraddii Shekem oo dhammu ay isku urursan yihiin.
And Abymelech herde the men of the tour of Sichem gaderid to gidere,
48 Markaasaa Abiimeleg wuxuu fuulay Buur Salmoon, isagii iyo dadkii la jiray oo dhammuba; kolkaasaa Abiimeleg wuxuu gacanta ku qabsaday faas, oo wuxuu dhirtii ka soo jaray laan, oo intuu kor u qaatay ayuu garbaha soo saaray, oo dadkii la jirayna wuxuu ku yidhi, Dhaqsada, oo wixii aad igu aragteen anoo samaynaya u sameeya sidii aan u sameeyey.
and he stiede in to the hil Selmon with al his puple; and with an axe takun he kittide doun a boow of a tre, and he bar it, put on the schuldur, and seide to felowis, Do ye this thing, which ye seen me do.
49 Markaasaa dadkii nin waluba wuxuu soo jaray laantiisii, oo waxay soo raaceen Abiimeleg, oo intay laamihii qalcaddii ku ag tuuleen ayay haddana dab sudheen, oo sidaasay dadkii munaaraddii Shekem joogay oo dhammu u wada le'deen; oo waxay ahaayeen in ku dhow kun qof oo rag iyo dumarba leh.
Therfor with strijf thei kittiden doun bowis of the trees, and sueden the duyk; whiche cumpassiden and brenten `the tour; and so it was doon, that with smooke and fier a thousynde of men weren slayn, men togidere and wymmen, of the dwelleris of the tour of Sichem.
50 Oo haddana Abiimeleg wuxuu tegey Teebees, oo wuxuu degay meel ka soo hor jeedda, markaasuu qabsaday.
Forsothe Abymelech wente forth fro thennus, and cam to the citee of Thebes, which he cumpasside, and bisegide with an oost.
51 Laakiinse magaalada waxaa ku dhex tiil munaarad xoog badan. Markaasay halkaas ku carareen rag iyo dumarba, iyo kulli wixii magaalada joogay oo dhan, oo intay isku soo xidheen ayay kor u fuuleen munaaradda saqafkeedii.
Forsothe the tour was hiy in the myddis of the citee, to which men togidere and wymmen fledden, and alle the princes of the citee, while the yate was closid stronglieste; and thei stoden on the roof of the tour bi toretis.
52 Markaasaa Abiimeleg munaaraddii yimid, wuuna la diriray, oo wuxuu u dhowaaday iridda munaaradda inuu dab ku gubo.
And Abymelech cam bisidis the tour, and fauyt strongli, and he neiyede to the dore, and enforside to putte fier vndur; and lo!
53 Naag baa kor dhagaxshiid kaga soo tuurtay Abiimeleg madaxiisii, oo burburisay dhakadiisii.
o womman castide fro aboue a gobet of a mylnestoon, and hurtlide to `the heed of Abymelech, and brak his brayn.
54 Markaasuu haddiiba u yeedhay ninkii dhallinyarada ahaa, oo hubka u siday, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, War dadku yaanu i odhan, Naag baa dishaye, seeftaada la soo bax oo i dil. Markaasaa ninkiisii dhallinyarada ahaa seef ka mudhbixiyey, kolkaasuu dhintay.
And he clepide soone his squyer, and seide to hym, Drawe out thi swerd, and sle me, lest perauenture it be seid, that Y am slan of a womman. Which performede `the comaundementis, and `killide Abymelech;
55 Dadkii reer binu Israa'iilna markay arkeen inuu Abiimeleg dhintay ayaa nin waluba meeshiisii tegey.
and whanne he was deed, alle men of Israel that weren with hym turneden ayen to her seetis.
56 Oo sidaasaa Ilaah Abiimeleg xumaantii uu aabbihiis ku sameeyey uga jeebay, waayo, wuxuu laayay toddobaatan walaalihiis ah:
And God yeldide to Abymelech the yuel that he dide ayens his fadir, for he killide hise seuenti britheren.
57 oo dadkii reer Shekem xumaantoodii oo dhan Ilaah baa ka jeebay madaxoodii, oo waxaa ku soo degay habaarkii Yootam ina Yerubbacal.
Also that thing was yoldun to men of Sichem, which thei wrouyten, and the curs of Joathan, sone of Jerobaal, cam on hem.
