And the lot for the tribe of the children of Judah after their families came by the border of Edom, with the wilderness of Zin, southward, as the uttermost southern boundary.
2 Oo soohdintooda koonfureedna waxay gaadhsiisnayd xagga ugu shishaysa ee Badda Cusbada leh, iyo tan iyo gacanka koonfur u jeeda,
And their southern boundary was from the end of the salt sea, from the bay that bendeth southward:
3 oo waxay u baxday xagga koonfureed ee jiirta Caqrabbiim, oo waxay u dhaaftay xagga Sin, oo haddana waxay martay xagga koonfureed oo Qaadeesh Barneeca, oo ay martay xagga Xesroon, oo waxay kor ugu baxday xagga Addaar, oo u laabatay xagga Qarqaacaa;
And it went out to the south of the heights of 'Akrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadesh-barnea, and passed along to Chezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karka';
4 oo waxay u sii dhaaftay xagga Casmoon, oo haddana waxay u baxday xagga durdurka Masar, oo soohdinta waxaa dhammaadkeedu ahaa badda; taasu waxay ahaan doontaa soohdintiinna koonfureed.
And it passed on toward 'Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea: this shall be your southern boundary.

And the east boundary was the salt sea, unto the end of the Jordan. And the boundary in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the end of the Jordan;

And the boundary went up to Beth-choglah, and passed along by the north of Beth'arabah; and the boundary went up to Ebenbohan the son of Reuben;
7 oo soohdintu waxay sii martay Debiir, marka laga tago dooxadii Caakoor, iyo xagga woqooyi ee ku soo jeedda Gilgaal, taasu waxa weeyaan meel ku toosan jiirta Adummiim, taasoo ku taal webiga dhiniciisa koonfureed; oo soohdintu waxay sii martay biyaha Ceyn Shemesh, oo dhammaadkeedu wuxuu ahaa Ceyn Rogeel agteeda;
And the boundary went up toward Debir from the Valley of 'Achor, and at the north it bent toward Gilgal, that is opposite the heights of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley; and the boundary passed toward the waters of 'En-shemesh, and its terminations were at En-rogel;

And the boundary went up to the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the south side of the Jebusite, the same is Jerusalem; and the boundary went up to the top of the mount that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the end of the valley of Rephaim northward;

And the boundary extended from the top of the mount unto the spring of the waters of Nephtoach, and went out to the cities of mount 'Ephron; and the boundary extended to Ba'alah, which is Kiryath-ye'arim;
10 markaasay soohdintu ka laabatay Bacalaah galbeedkeeda ilaa Buur Seciir, oo waxay sii martay Buur Yecaariim dhinaceeda woqooyi (taasuna waxa weeyaan Kesaaloon), oo waxay hoos ugu dhaadhacday xagga Beytshemesh, oo waxay sii martay Timneh;
And the boundary compassed from Ba'alah westward unto mount Seir, and passed along unto the side of mount Ye'arim, which is Kessalon, on the north side, and went down to Beth-shemesh, and passed on to Timnah;
11 markaasay soohdintu u baxday dhinaca woqooyi oo Ceqroon; oo haddana soohdintu waxay u baxday Shikeroon, oo waxay sii martay Buur Bacalaah, oo waxay u baxday Yabne'eel agteeda; oo soohdinta dhammaadkeedu wuxuu ahaa badda.
And the boundary went out unto the side of 'Ekron northward; and the boundary extended to Shikron, and passed along to the mount of Ba'alah, and went out unto Yabneel; and the terminations of the boundary were at the sea.
12 Oo soohdinta xagga galbeedna waxay ahayd tan iyo badda weyn iyo xeebteeda. Intaasu waa soohdintii ku soo wareegi jirtay reer Yahuudah sida reerahoodu ahaayeen.
And the west boundary was by the great sea, and the coast thereof. This is the boundary of the children of Judah round about according to their families.
13 Oo wuxuu Kaaleeb ina Yefunneh qayb ka siiyey reer Yahuudah dhexdooda, sidii Rabbigu Yashuuca ugu amray, oo qaybtaas wuxuu ahaa Qiryad Arbac, kaas oo ahaa Canaaq aabbihiis (taasuna waxa weeyaan Xebroon).
And unto Caleb the son of Yephunneh he gave as a portion among the children of Judah, according to the order of the Lord to Joshua, Kiryath-arba' the father of 'Anak, which is Hebron.
14 Oo Kaaleebna halkaas wuxuu ka eryay saddexdii wiil oo Canaaq, kuwaasoo ahaa Sheeshay, iyo Axiiman, iyo Talmay, oo ahaa ilma Canaaq.
And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of 'Anak, Sheshai, and Achiman, and Talmai, the children of 'Anak.

And he went up from there to the inhabitants of Debir; and the name of Debir before was Kiryath-sepher.
16 Oo Kaaleeb wuxuu yidhi, Kii Qiryad Sefer intuu wax ku dhufta qabsada, waxaan u guurin doonaa gabadhayda Caksaah.
And Caleb said, He that will smite Kiryath-sepher, and capture it, to him will I give 'Achsah my daughter for wife.

And 'Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it; and he gave him 'Achsah his daughter for wife.

And it came to pass, as she came thither, that she persuaded him to ask of her father a field: and she alighted from her ass; and Caleb said unto her, What aileth thee?

This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Judah according to their families.

And the cities of the boundary line of the tribe of the children of Judah toward the border of Edom, on the south, were Kabzeel, and 'Eder, and Yagur,
22 iyo Qiinaah, iyo Diimoonaah, iyo Cadcaadaah,
And Kinah, and Dimonah, and 'Ad'adah,
23 iyo Qedesh, iyo Xaasoor, iyo Itnaan,
And Kedesh, and Chazor, and Yithnan,
24 iyo Siif, iyo Telem, iyo Becaalood,
Ziph, and Telem, and Be'aloth,
25 iyo Xaasoor Xadataah, iyo Qiryood Xesroon (oo taasuna waa Xaasoor qudheeda),
And Chazor-chadattah, and Keriyoth-chezron, which is Chazor,
26 iyo Amaam, iyo Shemac, iyo Molaadaah,
Amam, and Shema', and Moladah,

And Chazar-gaddah, and Cheshmon, and Beth-palet,
28 iyo Xasar Shuucaal, iyo Bi'ir Shebac, iyo Bisyootiyaah,
And Chazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizyotheyah,
29 iyo Bacalaah, iyo Ciyiim, iyo Cesem,
Ba'alah, and 'Iyim, and 'Azem,
30 iyo Eltoolad, iyo Kesiil, iyo Xormaah,
And Eltolad, and Kessil, and Chormah,
31 iyo Siiqlag, iyo Madmannaah, iyo Sansannaah,
And Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,
32 iyo Lebaa'ood, iyo Shilxiim, iyo Cayn, iyo Rimmon, oo magaalooyinka oo dhan iyo tuulooyinkooduba waa sagaal iyo labaatan.
And Lebaoth, and Shilchim, and 'Ayin, and Rimmon: in all twenty and nine cities, with their villages.

35 iyo Yarmuud, iyo Cadullaam, iyo Sokoh, iyo Caseeqaah,
Yarmuth, and 'Adullam, Sochoh, and 'Azekah,
36 iyo Shacarayim, iyo Cadiitayim, iyo Gedeeraah, iyo Gedeerootayim, oo iyana waa afar iyo toban magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Sha'arayim, and 'Adithayim, and Gederah, and Gede-rothayim: fourteen cities with their villages.
37 Iyo Senaan, iyo Xadaashaah, iyo Migdal Gaad,
Zenan, and Chadashah, and Migdalgad,
38 iyo Dilcaan, iyo Misfaah, iyo Yoqte'eel,
And Dil'an, and Mizpeh, and Yoktheel,
39 iyo Laakiish, iyo Bosqad, iyo Cegloon,
Lachish, and Bozkath, and 'Eglon,
40 iyo Kabboon, iyo Laxmaam, iyo Kitliish,
And Cabbon, and Lachmass, and Kithlish,
41 iyo Gedeerood, iyo Beytdagoon, iyo Nacamaah, iyo Maqeedaah, iyana waa lix iyo toban magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Na'amah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages.
42 Libnaah, iyo Ceter, iyo Caashaan,
Libnah, and 'Ether, and 'Ashan,
43 iyo Yiftaax, iyo Ashnaah, iyo Nesiib,
And Yiphtach, and Ashnah, and Nezib,
44 iyo Qeciilaah, iyo Aksiib, iyo Maareeshaah, oo iyana waa sagaal magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Ke'ilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
45 Ceqroon, iyo magaalooyinkeedii iyo tuulooyinkeedii,
'Ekron, with its towns and its villages:
46 iyo Ceqroon iyo ilaa badda, iyo kulli intii u dhowayd Ashdood iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
From 'Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay alongside of Ashdod, with their villages.
47 Ashdood iyo magaalooyinkeedii iyo tuulooyinkeedii, iyo Gaasa iyo magaalooyinkeedii, iyo tuulooyinkeedii, iyo ilaa durdurkii Masar, iyo ilaa badda weyn, iyo soohdinteeda.
Ashdod with its towns and its villages, Gazzah, with its towns and its villages, up to the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and its territory.
48 Iyo dalkii buuraha lahaa oo dhan, iyo Shamiir, iyo Yatiir, iyo Sokoh,
And in the mountains, Shamir, and Yattir, and Sochoh,
49 iyo Dannaah, iyo Qiryad Sannaah (taasoo Debiir ah),
And Dannah and Kiryath-sannah, which is Debir,
50 iyo Canaab, iyo Eshtemoh, iyo Caaniim,
And 'Anab, and Eshtemoh, and 'Anim.
51 iyo Goshen, iyo Xolon, iyo Giloh, iyana waa koob iyo toban magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Goshen, and Cholon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages.
52 Araab, iyo Duumah, iyo Eshecaan,
Arab, and Dumah, and Esh'an,
53 iyo Yaaniim iyo Beyd Tafuu'ax, iyo Afeeqaah,
And Vanum, and Beth-tappuach, and Aphekah,
54 Xumtaah, iyo Qiryad Arbac (taasoo ah Xebroon), iyo Siicor, iyana waa sagaal magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Chumtah, and Kiryath-arba', which is Hebron, and Zi'or: nine cities with their villages.
55 Iyo Maacoon, iyo Karmel, iyo Siif, iyo Yutaah,
Ma'on, Carmel, and Ziph, and Yutah,
56 iyo Yesreceel, iyo Yokdecaam, iyo Saanoo'ax,
And Yizre'el, and Yokde'am, and Zanoach,
57 Kayn, iyo Gibecaah, iyo Timneh, iyana waa toban magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
Kayin, Gib'ah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
58 Xalxuul, iyo Beytsuur, iyo Gedoor,
Chatchul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,
59 iyo Macaraad, iyo Beytcanood, iyo Elteqon, iyana waa lix magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Ma'arath, and Beth-'anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their village.
60 Qiryad Bacal (taasoo ah Qiryad Yecaariim), iyo Rabbaah, iyana waa laba magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
Kiryath-baal, which is Kiryath-ye'arim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages.
61 Xagga cidladana waxay ku lahaayeen Beytcaraabaah, iyo Middiin, iyo Sekaakaah,
In the wilderness, Beth-ha'arabah, Middin, and Sechachah,
62 iyo Nibshaan iyo Magaalada Cusbada leh iyo Ceyn Gedii, iyana waa lix magaalo iyo tuulooyinkoodii.
And Nibshan, and 'Ir-hammelach, and 'En-gedi: six cities with their villages.
63 Xagga reer Yebuus, kuwaasoo Yeruusaalem degganaa, reer Yahuudah way eryi kari waayeen; laakiinse reer Yebuus Yeruusaalem bay la degganaayeen reer Yahuudah ilaa maantadan la joogo.
As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, these the children of Judah could not drive out; but the Jebusites dwelt with the children of Judah at Jerusalem, even unto this day.
