Yooxanaa 1
1 Bilowgii waxaa jiray Ereyga, Ereyguna wuxuu la jiray Ilaah, Ereyguna wuxuu ahaa Ilaah.
In the beginnynge was the worde and the worde was with God: and the worde was God.
2 Isagu Ilaah buu la jiray bilowgii.
The same was in the beginnynge with God.
3 Wax walba waxaa laga sameeyey xaggiisa, oo wixii la sameeyey lama samayn isaga la'aantiis.
All thinges were made by it and with out it was made nothinge that was made.
4 Isaga waxaa ku jirtay nolol, noloshuna waxay ahayd nuurka dadka.
In it was lyfe and the lyfe was ye lyght of men
5 Nuurkuna wuxuu ka ifayaa gudcurka, gudcurkuna kama badin.
and the lyght shyneth in the darcknes but the darcknes comprehended it not.
6 Waxaa jiray nin xagga Ilaah laga soo diray, magiciisuna wuxuu ahaa Yooxanaa.
There was a man sent from God whose name was Iohn.
7 Isagu wuxuu u yimid markhaati furid, inuu u marag furo nuurka, inay dhammaan xaggiisa ka wada rumaystaan.
The same cam as a witnes to beare witnes of the lyght that all men through him myght beleve.
8 Isagu nuurka ma uu ahayn, laakiin wuxuu u yimid inuu nuurka u marag furo.
He was not that lyght: but to beare witnes of the lyght.
9 Kaasu wuxuu ahaa nuurka runta ah oo iftiimiya nin walba oo dunida yimaada.
That was a true lyght which lyghteth all men that come into the worlde.
10 Wuxuu ku jiray dunida, dunidana waxaa laga sameeyey xaggiisa, oo duniduna ma ay garanayn isaga.
He was in ye worlde and the worlde was made by him: and yet the worlde knewe him not.
11 Wuxuu u yimid kuwiisii, kuwiisiina ma ay aqbalin isaga.
He cam amonge his (awne) and his awne receaved him not.
12 Laakiin in alla intii aqbashay, wuxuu siiyey amar ay carruurtii Ilaah ku noqdaan, kuwaasu waa kuwii magiciisa rumaystay,
But as meny as receaved him to them he gave power to be the sonnes of God in yt they beleved on his name:
13 oo aan ka dhalan dhiigga, ama doonistii jidhka, ama dad doonistiis, laakiin waxay ka dhasheen Ilaah.
which were borne not of bloude nor of the will of the flesshe nor yet of the will of man: but of God.
14 Ereyguna jidh buu noqday, oo waa ina dhex joogay, oo waxaannu aragnay ammaantiisii, taas oo ahayd ammaantii u ekayd tan Wiilka keliya ee Aabbaha, ee nimco iyo run ka buuxa.
And the worde was made flesshe and dwelt amonge vs and we sawe the glory of it as the glory of the only begotten sonne of ye father which worde was full of grace and verite.
15 Yooxanaa waa u marag furay isaga, wuxuuna ku qayliyey oo yidhi, Kanu waa kii aan idhi, Kan iga daba imanayaa waa iga horreeyey, waayo, hortay buu jiray.
Iohn bare witnes of him and cryed sayinge: This was he of whome I spake he that cometh after me was before me because he was yer then I.
16 Dhammaanteen waxaynu buuxnaantiisa ka helnay nimco ka nimco.
And of his fulnes have all we receaved even (grace) for grace.
17 Waayo, sharciga waxaa loo soo dhiibay Muuse, laakiinse nimcada iyo runtu waxay ku yimaadeen Ciise Masiix.
For the lawe was geven by Moses but grace and truthe came by Iesus Christ.
18 Ninna ma arkin Ilaah marnaba, Wiilka keliya oo laabta Aabbaha ku jira kaasaa inoo sheegay.
No ma hath sene God at eny tyme. The only begotte sonne which is in ye bosome of ye father he hath declared him.
19 Kanu waa maraggii Yooxanaa furay, markii Yuhuuddu Yeruusaalem uga soo direen wadaaddo iyo kuwo reer Laawi ah inay weyddiiyaan oo ku yidhaahdaan, Yaad tahay?
And this is the recorde of Iohn: When the Iewes sent Prestes and Levites from Ierusalem to axe him what arte thou?
20 Isagu waa qirtay, mana uu inkirin, oo wuxuu qirtay oo yidhi, Anigu ma ihi Masiixa.
And he confessed and denyed not and sayde playnly: I am not Christ.
21 Markaasay weyddiiyeen, Haddaba yaad tahay? Ma Eliyaas baad tahay? Wuxuuna yidhi, Ma ihi. Ma nebigii baad tahay? Wuxuuna ku jawaabay, Maya.
And they axed him: what then? arte thou Helyas? And he sayde: I am not. Arte thou a Prophete? And he answered no.
22 Waxay haddaba ku yidhaahdeen, Yaad tahay? si aannu jawaab ugu celinno kuwii na soo diray. Yaad isku sheegaysaa?
Then sayd they vnto him: what arte thou that we maye geve an answer to them that sent vs: What sayest thou of thy selfe?
23 Wuxuu yidhi, Waxaan ahay codka kan cidlada kaga qaylinaya, Jidka Rabbiga toosiya, siduu nebi Isayos u yidhi.
He sayde: I am the voyce of a cryar in the wyldernes make strayght the waye of the Lorde as sayde the Prophete Esaias.
24 Kuwa la soo diray waxay ka yimaadeen Farrisiinta.
And they which were sent were of the pharises.
25 Markaasay weyddiiyeen oo ku yidhaahdeen, Haddaba maxaad dadka u baabtiistaa haddaanad ahayn Masiixa ama Eliyaas ama nebigii?
And they axed him and sayde vnto him: why baptisest thou then yf thou be not Christ nor Helyas nether a Prophet?
26 Yooxanaa wuxuu ugu jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Anigu waxaan dadka ku baabtiisaa biyo, laakiin dhexdiinna waxaa jooga mid aydnaan garanaynin
Iohn answered them sayinge: I baptise with water: but one is come amonge you whom ye knowe not
27 oo ah kan iga daba imanaya, kan aanan istaahilin inaan yeelmaha kabtiisa furo.
he it is that cometh after me whiche was before me whose sho latchet I am not worthy to vnlose.
28 Waxyaalahaasu waxay ka dhaceen Beytaniya taas oo ku taal Webi Urdun shishadiisa, oo ahayd meeshii Yooxanaa dadka ku baabtiisayay.
These thinges were done in Bethabara beyonde Iordan where Iohn dyd baptyse.
29 Maalintii labaad Yooxanaa wuxuu arkay Ciise oo ku soo socda, oo wuxuu yidhi, Bal eega Wanka Ilaah ee dembiga dunida qaadaya.
The nexte daye Iohn sawe Iesus commyge vnto him and sayde: beholde the lambe of God which taketh awaye the synne of the worlde.
30 Kanu waa kii aan idhi, Waxaa iga daba imanaya nin iga horreeyey, waayo, hortay buu jiray.
This is he of whom I sayde. After me cometh a man which was before me for he was yer then I
31 Anigu ma aan aqoonin isaga, laakiin inuu Israa'iil u soo muuqdo sidaa daraaddeed ayaan u imid anigoo dadka biyo ku baabtiisa.
and I knew him not: but that he shuld be declared to Israell therfore am I come baptisynge with water.
32 Yooxanaa waa marag furay isagoo leh, Waxaan arkay Ruuxa oo samada uga soo degaya sidii qoolley oo kale, wuuna dul joogsaday isagii.
And Iohn bare recorde sayinge: I sawe the sprete descende from heven lyke vnto a dove and abyde apon him
33 Anigu ma aan aqoonin isaga, laakiin kii ii soo diray inaan dadka biyo ku baabtiiso, wuxuu igu yidhi, Kii aad ku aragtid Ruuxa oo ku soo degaya oo ku dul joogsanaya, kaasu waa kan dadka ku baabtiisa Ruuxa Quduuska ah.
and I knewe him not. But he that sent me to baptise in water the same sayde vnto me: apon whom thou shalt se the sprete descende and tary styll on him the same is he which baptiseth with the holy goost.
34 Anigu waan arkay, waana u marag furay in kanu yahay Wiilka Ilaah.
And I sawe and bare recorde that this is the sonne of God.
35 Mar kale maalintii dambe Yooxanaa waa taagnaa isaga iyo laba xertiisa ahayd.
The next daye after Iohn stode agayne and two of his disciples.
36 Oo wuxuu arkay Ciise oo socda, markaasuu yidhi, Bal eega Wanka Ilaah.
And he behelde Iesus as he walked by and sayde: beholde the lambe of God.
37 Labadii xerta ahaydna way maqleen isagoo hadlaya, wayna raaceen Ciise.
And the two disciples hearde him speake and folowed Iesus.
38 Markaasaa Ciise soo jeestay, waana arkay iyagoo raacaya, kolkaasuu ku yidhi, Maxaad doonaysaan? Waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Rabbi (waxaa lagu fasiraa Macallin), Xaggee baad deggan tahay?
And Iesus turned about and sawe them folowe and sayde vnto them: what seke ye? They sayde vnto him: Rabbi (which is to saye by interpretacion Master) where dwellest thou?
39 Wuxuu ku yidhi, Kaalaya oo arka, Markaasay yimaadeen oo arkeen meeshuu degganaa, wayna la joogeen maalintaas. Goortaas waxay ahayd abbaaraha saacaddii tobnaad.

One of the two which hearde Iohn speake and folowed Iesus was Andrew Simon Peters brother.
41 Isagu wuxuu hortii doonay walaalkiis Simoon oo ku yidhi, Waannu helnay Masiixa (kan lagu fasiro Kiristooska).
The same founde his brother Simon fyrst and sayde vnto him: we have founde Messias which is by interpretacion annoynted:
42 Markaasuu wuxuu u geeyey Ciise. Ciisena intuu eegay ayuu wuxuu ku yidhi, Adigu waxaad tahay Simoon ina Yoonis. Waxaa lagu odhan doonaa Keeyfas (oo fasirkiisu yahay Butros).
and brought him to Iesus. And Iesus behelde him and sayde: thou arte Simon the sonne of Ionas thou shalt be called Cephas: which is by interpretacion a stone.
43 Maalintii labaad wuxuu doonayay inuu Galili tago, oo wuxuu helay Filibos. Ciisena wuxuu ku yidhi, I soo raac.
The daye folowynge Iesus wolde goo into Galile and founde Philip and sayde vnto him folowe me.
44 Filibos wuxuu ahaa reer Beytsayda taas oo ah magaaladii Andaros iyo Butros.
Philip was of Bethsaida the cite of Andrew and Peter.
45 Markaasaa Filibos wuxuu doonay Nataana'el oo ku yidhi, Waxaannu helnay kii Muuse sharciga ku qoray wax isaga ku saabsan, oo nebiyadiina ay qoreen wax isaga ku saabsan, waana Ciisihii reer Naasared oo ah ina Yuusuf.
And Philip founde Nathanael and sayde vnto him. We have founde him of whom Moses in the lawe and the prophetes dyd wryte. Iesus the sonne of Ioseph of Nazareth.
46 Nataana'el wuxuu ku yidhi, Ma wax wanaagsan baa ka iman kara Naasared? Markaasaa Filibos wuxuu ku yidhi, Kaalay oo arag.
And Nathanael sayde vnto him: can ther eny good thinge come out of Nazareth? Philip sayde to him: come and se.
47 Ciise wuxuu arkay Nataana'el oo ku soo socda, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Bal eeg, kanu waa mid reer Israa'iil oo run ah oo aan khiyaano lahayn.
Iesus sawe Nathanael commynge to him and sayde of him. Beholde a ryght Israelite in who is no gyle.
48 Markaasaa Nataana'el wuxuu ku yidhi, Xaggee baad igu tiqiin? Ciise ayaa u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Intaan Filibos kuu yeedhin, markaad geedkii berdaha hoostiisa joogtay, ayaan ku arkay.
Nathanael sayd vnto him: where knewest thou me? Iesus answered and sayde vnto him: Before that Philip called the when thou wast vnder ye fygge tree I sawe the.
49 Kolkaasaa Nataana'el u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Macallimow, waxaad tahay Wiilka Ilaah, oo waxaad tahay boqorkii Israa'iil.
Nathanael answered and sayde vnto him: Rabbi thou arte the sonne of God thou arte the kynge of Israel.
50 Ciise ayaa u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Ma waxaad u rumaysatay odhaatinkii aan kugu idhi, Geedka berdaha hoostiisa ayaan kugu arkay? Waxaad arki doontaa wax waxyaalahaas ka waaweyn.
Iesus answered and sayd vnto him: Because I sayde vnto the I sawe the vnder the fygge tree thou belevest. Thou shalt se greater thinges then these.
51 Markaasuu ku yidhi, Runtii, runtii, waxaan idinku leeyahay, Waxaad arki doontaan samadoo furan iyo malaa'igaha Ilaah oo kor u kacaya oo ku soo degaya Wiilka Aadanaha.
And he sayde vnto him: Verely verely I saye vnto you: herafter shall ye se heven open and the angels of God ascendynge and descendynge over the sonne of man.
