Yooxanaa 7
1 Waxyaalahaas dabadeed Ciise ayaa Galili ku dhex wareegay, waayo, ma u doonaynin inuu Yahuudiya ku wareego, maxaa yeelay, Yuhuuddu waxay doonayeen inay dilaan.
AND Jesus after these things travelled about in Galilee: for he would not go about in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
2 Iiddii Yuhuudda oo tii waababka ahayd way dhowayd.
And a feast of the Jews was nigh, the feast of tabernacles.
3 Walaalihiis haddaba waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Halkan ka bax oo Yahuudiya tag in xertaadiina aragto shuqullada aad samaynaysid.
Then said his disciples to him, Depart hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples also may see thy works which thou doest.
4 Ma jiro nin si qarsoon wax u sameeyaa markuu doonayo in bayaan loo ogaado. Haddaad waxyaalahan samayso, dunida isu muuji.
For no man doeth any thing in secret, yet seeketh himself to appear publicly: if thou doest these things, exhibit thyself to the world.
5 Xataa walaalihiis ma ay rumaysan isaga.
For even his own brethren did not believe on him.
6 Sidaa aawadeed Ciise wuxuu ku yidhi iyaga, Wakhtigaygu weli ma iman, laakiin wakhtigiinnu goor walba wuu joogaa.
Jesus therefore saith to them, My proper time is not yet come: but your time is always ready.
7 Dunidu idinma nebcaan karto, anigase way i neceb tahay, waayo, waxaan ka marag furaa in shuqulladeedu ay shar yihiin.
The world cannot hate you, but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.
8 Idinku iidda u kaca, anigu iiddan weli u kici maayo, waayo, wakhtigaygu weli ma dhammaan.
Go ye up to this feast: for I am not yet going up to this feast, because my fixed time is not yet arrived.
9 Markuu waxyaalahaas iyagii ku yidhi, weli wuxuu sii joogay Galili.
Thus speaking to them then, he continued in Galilee.
10 Markii walaalihiis iiddii u kaceen, ayuu isaguna markaas xaggeeda u kacay, bayaan kuma tegin, laakiin sidii mid isqarinaya buu u tegey.
But as soon as his disciples were gone up, then went he also himself up to the feast: not in public, but as in concealment.
11 Yuhuuddu haddaba iidday ka dooneen, oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Xaggee buu joogaa?
The Jews then sought for him at the feast, and said, Where is he?
12 Dadkii badnaa aad bay uga gunuuneceen isaga, qaarkood waxay yidhaahdeen, Waa nin wanaagsan; qaar kalena waxay yidhaahdeen, Sidaas ma aha, laakiin dadkii badnaa ayuu khiyaaneeyaa.
And there was a great murmur concerning him among the multitude: some said, Surely he is a good man: others said, No; he only deceiveth the people.
13 Haddaba ninna bayaan isaga ugama hadlin cabsiday ka cabsanayeen Yuhuudda aawadeed.
Yet no person spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
14 Laakiin markay ahayd iidda dhexdeeda Ciise wuxuu u kacay macbudka, wax ayuuna ku baray.
But now at the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
15 Sidaa aawadeed Yuhuuddii ayaa la yaabtay iyagoo leh, Sidee baa kanu qorniinka u yaqaan isagoo aan weligiis baran?
And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man the scriptures, not being a scholar?
16 Ciise ayaa haddaba u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Waxbariddaydu tayda ma aha, laakiin waxaa leh kan i soo diray.
Jesus answered them and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17 Haddii nin doonayo inuu doonistii Ilaah sameeyo, wuu garan doonaa waxbaridda, inay tahay tii Ilaah amase aan qudhaydu iska hadlayo.
If any man will do his will, he shall know respecting the doctrine, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself.
18 Kan qudhiisu iska hadlaa, ammaantiisuu doonaa, laakiin kan doona ammaanta kan soo diray, kaasaa run ah, oo xaqdarro kuma jirto.
He that speaketh from himself, seeks his own individual honour: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, he is true, and iniquity in him there is none.
19 Miyaan Muuse sharciga idin siin? Midkiinnana sharciga ma yeelo. Maxaad u doonaysaan inaad i dishaan?
Hath not Moses given you the law, yet none of you practises the law? Why do ye seek to kill me?
20 Dadkii badnaa waxay ugu jawaabeen, Jinni baad qabtaa. Yaa doonaya inuu ku dilo?
The multitude answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who is seeking to kill thee?
21 Ciise ayaa u jawaabay oo ku yidhi, Shuqul keliya ayaan sameeyey, kulligiinna waad la yaabteen.
Jesus answered and said unto them, I have performed one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Sidaa aawadeed Muuse wuxuu idin siiyey gudniinta (kamana iman Muuse, waxayse ka timid awowayaashii); idinku sabtida ayaad nin guddaan.
Because Moses ordered you circumcision; (not that it comes from Moses, but from our ancestors; ) so ye circumcise a man on the sabbath-day.
23 Haddii sabtida nin la gudo, si aan sharciga Muuse u jabin, ma waxaad iigu cadhoonaysaan nin aan dhammaantiis sabtidii bogsiiyey?
If a man receive circumcision on the sabbath-day, that the law of Moses should not be violated; are ye incensed against me, because I have made a man whole on the sabbath-day?
24 Aragtida waxba ha ku xukumina, laakiin ku xukuma xukunka xaqa ah.
Judge not by appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
25 Sidaa aawadeed qaar ka mid ah kuwa Yeruusaalem waxay yidhaahdeen, Kanu miyaanu ahayn kay doonayaan inay dilaan?
Then said some of the people of Jerusalem, is not this the man whom they are seeking to kill?
26 Bal fiiriya, bayaan buu u hadlaa, waxbase kuma yidhaahdaan. Taliyayaashu runtii ma og yihiin inuu kanu yahay Masiixa?
And, lo! he speaketh openly, and they say not a word to him. Do the rulers certainly know that this man is really the Messiah?
27 Laakiin kani meeshuu ka yimid waannu og nahay, markuuse Masiixu yimaado, ninna garan maayo meeshuu ka imanayo.
But we know this man whence he is: but when the Messiah cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.
28 Ciise haddaba macbudkuu ka dhex qayliyey isagoo wax baraya oo leh, Waad i taqaanniin, waana og tihiin meeshaan ka imid; anigu qudhayda kuma aan iman, laakiin kii i soo diray waa run, kan aydnaan garanaynin.
Then spake Jesus aloud as he was teaching in the temple, and said, Ye both know me, and ye know from whence I am: and I came not of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.
29 Anigu waa aqaan, waayo, isagaan ka imid, wuuna i soo diray.
But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me.
30 Sidaa aawadeed waxay dooneen inay qabtaan, laakiin ninna faro ma uu saarin, waayo, saacaddiisii weli ma iman.
Then they sought to apprehend him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
31 Laakiin qaar badan oo dadkii ahi way rumaysteen, waxayna yidhaahdeen, Masiixu markuu yimaado miyuu samayn doonaa calaamooyin ka badan kuwii kanu sameeyey?
But many of the multitude believed on him, and said, When the Messiah cometh, will he do greater miracles than those which this man doth?
32 Farrisiintu way maqleen dadkii badnaa oo ka gunuunacayay waxaas ku saabsanaa isaga, wadaaddadii sarena iyo Farrisiintii waxay u direen saraakiil inay soo qabtaan isaga.
The Pharisees heard the people muttering these things respecting him; and the Pharisees and chief priests sent officers to apprehend him.
33 Ciise haddaba wuxuu ku yidhi, Weli in yar baan idinla joogayaa, markaasaan u tegayaa kii i soo diray.
Then said Jesus unto them, A little while longer I am with you, and I am going to him that sent me.
34 Waad i doondooni doontaan, imana heli doontaan, meeshaan joogona iman kari maysaan.
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, ye cannot come.
35 Sidaa aawadeed Yuhuuddu waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Kanu xaggee buu tegi doonaa oo aynaan ka heli doonin? Ma wuxuu u tegi doonaa kuwa ku kala firidhsan dadka Gariigta ah, oo wax bari doonaa dadka Gariigta ah?
Then said the Jews among themselves, Whither will this man go, that we shall not find him? will he go to the dispersed among the Grecians, and teach the Greeks?
36 Waa maxay hadalkan uu yidhi? Waad i doondooni doontaan, imana heli doontaan, meeshaan joogona ma iman kari doontaan.
What is this saying which he hath spoken, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, ye cannot come?
37 Maalintii u dambaysay, oo ahayd maalintii weynayd ee iidda, Ciise ayaa istaagay oo qayliyey isagoo leh, Haddii qof uun harraado, ha ii yimaado, hana cabbo.
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood up and spake aloud, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
38 Kii i rumaysta, calooshiisa waxaa ka duuli doona webiyo biyaha nool ah, sida Qorniinku u yidhi.
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from his belly shall rivers flow of living water.
39 Waxaas ayuu kaga hadlay Ruuxa oo ay kuwii isaga rumaystay heli doonaan, waayo, Ruuxa weli lama bixin, maxaa yeelay, Ciise weli ma ammaanmin.
(Now he spake this in reference to the Spirit, which they who believe on him should afterwards receive: for as yet the Holy Ghost was not given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
40 Sidaa aawadeed dadkii badnaa qaarkood, goortay hadalladaas maqleen, waxay yidhaahdeen, Runtii kanu waa nebigii.
Many then of the multitude, when they heard this declaration, said, This man is certainly a prophet.
41 Qaar kalena waxay yidhaahdeen, Kanu waa Masiixii. Qaarse waxay yidhaahdeen, Laakiin Masiixii ma wuxuu ka imanayaa Galili?
Others said, He is the Messiah. But others said, No: for cometh the Messiah out of Galilee?
42 Qorniinku miyaanu odhan, Masiixu wuxuu ka iman doonaa farcanka Daa'uud iyo tuuladii Beytlaxam oo Daa'uud joogay?
Doth not the scripture say, That the Messiah cometh of the seed of David, and from the town of Bethlehem, whence David originally was?
43 Sidaa daraaddeed dadkii badnaa waa kala qaybsamay aawadiis.
There was a division therefore among the multitude on account of him.
44 Qaarkood baa doonay inay qabtaan, laakiinse ninna faro ma uu saarin.
Now some of them were desirous to apprehend him; but no one laid hands upon him.
45 Saraakiishii haddaba waxay u yimaadeen wadaaddadii sare iyo Farrisiintii, iyaguna waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Maxaad u keeni weydeen?
Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisee; and they said to them, Why have ye not brought him?
46 Saraakiishii waxay ugu jawaabeen, Ninna weligiis uma hadlin sida ninkaasi u hadlay.
The officers answered, Never did man before speak in such a manner as this man.
47 Farrisiintii haddaba waxay iyaga ugu jawaabeen, Idinkana ma laydin khiyaaneeyey?
The Pharisees then replied to them, Are ye also deluded?
48 Miyaa taliyayaasha midkood ama Farrisiinta rumaystay isaga?
Hath any one of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?
49 Laakiin dadkan badan oo aan sharciga garanaynin waa inkaaran yihiin.
But this rabble, which knoweth not the law, is accursed.
50 Nikodemos (kii markii hore Ciise u yimid, isagoo ah midkood) wuxuu iyaga ku yidhi,
Nicodemus saith unto them, (the same person who came to him by night, being one of their body, )
51 Miyaa sharcigeennu xukumaa nin, iyadoo aan marka hore laga maqlin isaga oo aan la garanaynin wuxuu sameeyo?
Doth our law condemn a man, without first hearing his defence, and knowing what he hath done?
52 Kolkaasay u jawaabeen oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Adiguna ma reer Galili baad tahay? Doondoon, oo arag inaan nebi ka kacayn Galili.
They answered and said to him, Art thou not from Galilee too? Search and see: for a prophet, out of Galilee, never was raised up.
53 Markaasaa nin kastaa wuxuu u baxay gurigiisii.
So each went to his own home.
