Yeremyaah 8
1 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Wakhtigaas waxaa qabriyadoodii laga soo bixin doonaa lafihii boqorrada dalka Yahuudah, iyo lafihii amiirradiisa, iyo lafihii wadaaddada, iyo lafihii nebiyada, iyo lafihii dadkii Yeruusaalem degganaaba.
At that time, Declareth Yahweh, Shall they bring forth, The bones of the kings of Judah, and The bones of his princes, and The bones of the priests, and The bones of the prophets, and The bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Out of their graves,
2 Oo waxaa lagu kala bixin doonaa dhulka hoos yaal qorraxda, iyo dayaxa, iyo ciidanka samada oo dhan, kuwaasoo ay jeclaan jireen, oo ay u adeegi jireen, oo ay daba socon jireen, oo ay doondooni jireen, oo ay caabudi jireen. Lama soo ururin doono, lamana aasi doono, oo sida digo oo kale ayay dhulka saarnaan doonaan.
And shall spread them out—To the sun, and To the moon, and To all the host of the heavens, Whom they have loved, And whom they have served, And after whom they have walked, And whom they have sought, And to whom they have bowed themselves down, —They shall not be gathered, Neither shall they be buried, As heaps of dung on the face of the ground, shall they be.
3 Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Kuwa qoladan sharka ah ka hadhi doona oo dhammu waxay nolosha ka dooran doonaan dhimasho, waana kuwa ku hadhi doona meelaha aan u kexeeyey oo dhan.
Then shall, death, be chosen rather than life, by all the remnant of them that remain, of this wicked family, —in all the places, whither I have driven them, Declareth Yahweh of hosts.
4 Weliba waxaad iyaga ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Kuwa dhacaa miyeyan soo kicin? Kii leexdaase miyuusan soo noqon?
Therefore shalt thou say unto them—Thus, saith Yahweh, Will men fall and not arise? Will one turn away, and not come back?
5 Haddaba dadkan reer Yeruusaalem bal maxay dib ugugu simbiriirixdeen dibunoqosho weligeed ah? Iyagu khiyaano way xajisanayaan, wayna diidaan inay soo noqdaan.
Wherefore hath this people of Jerusalem apostatized with an enduring apostacy, —Taken fast hold of deceit, Refused to come back?
6 Waan dhegaystay oo waan maqlay, laakiinse si qumman uma ay hadlin. Oo midkoodna xumaantiisii kama toobadkeeno, isagoo leh, Bal maxaan sameeyey? Mid kastaaba wuxuu u leexdaa jidkiisii sida faras dagaal ku yaacaya.
I hearkened and heard—Not aright, did they speak, —Not a man, repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done! They have every one, turned to their course again, Like a horse sweeping on through the battle.
7 Sida xaqiiqada ah xuurta samadu xilligeeda way taqaan, oo qoolleyda, iyo dabfallaadha, iyo saratoosiyuhuba way dhawraan xilliga imaatinkooda, laakiinse dadkaygu Rabbiga xukunkiisa ma ay yaqaaniin.
Even the stork in the heavens knoweth her appointed times, And the turtle and the swallow and the crane, observe the season for coming; But my people know not the just sentence of Yahweh.
8 Haddaba bal sidee baad u tidhaahdaan, Annagu xigmad baannu leennahay, oo Rabbiga sharcigiisuna waa nala jiraa? Laakiinse qalinkii beenta ahaa ee karraaniyada ayaa been ka dhigay.
How can ye say, Wise, are, we, And the law of Yahweh, is with us? But indeed lo! falsely, hath dealt the false pen of the scribes!
9 Nimankii xigmadda lahaa way ceeboobeen, wayna argaggexeen oo waa la kaxaystay, bal eega, Eraygii Rabbiga way diideen, haddaba xigmadda ku jirta waa maxay?
Ashamed are the wise, dismayed and captured! Lo! the word of Yahweh, have they rejected, And, what wisdom, have, they?
10 Sidaas daraaddeed waxaan naagahooda siin doonaa kuwa kale, oo beerahoodana waxaan siin doonaa kuwo xantiyi doona, waayo, midkood kasta kan ugu yar ilaa kan ugu weynuba wuxuu u go'ay damacxumaan, oo nebiga iyo xataa wadaadka inta ka dhexle midkood kastaaba been buu ku macaamiloodaa.
Therefore, will I give—Their wives to others, Their fields to such as shall take possession of them, For from the least, even unto the greatest, Every one, is, wholly given to extortion: From the prophet even unto the priest, Every one, dealeth, falsely.
11 Waayo, iyagu dhaawicii dadkayga ayay si fudud u bogsiiyeen, oo iyadoo aan innaba nabadu jirin ayay yidhaahdaan, Waa nabad! Waa nabad!
And so they have healed the grievous wound of the daughter of my people, slightly, —Saying, Peace! peace! when there was no peace!
12 Markay karaahiyada sameeyeen miyey xishoodeen? Maya, innaba ma ay xishoon, ceebna ma garan, sidaas daraaddeed waxay la dhici doonaan kuwa dhacaya. Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Wakhtiga ciqaabtooda ayay hoos u dhici doonaan.
Were they led to turn pale because an abominable thing, they had done? Nay! they did not, at all turn pale Nay! they did not so much as know how to exhibit shame! Therefore, shall they fall among them who are falling, In the time when they are punished, shall they be overthrown, Saith Yahweh:
13 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waan wada baabbi'in doonaa. Geedcanabka midho kuma oolli doonaan, oo geedberdahana midho kuma oolli doonaan, oo caleentuna way wada dhadi doontaa, oo waxyaalihii aan siiyey oo dhammu way ka wada dhammaan doonaan.
I will, surely remove, them, declareth Yahweh: There shall be no grapes on the vine Nor figs on the fig-tree, Even the leaf, hath faded, Though I have given them these things, they shall pass away from them.
14 Bal maxaynu isaga fadhinnaa? Isa soo wada urursada, oo ina keena aynu magaalooyinka deyrka leh galnee, oo aynu halkaas ku halliganno, waayo, Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ah ayaa ina halligay, oo wuxuu ina cabsiiyey biyo xammeetiyeed, maxaa yeelay, Rabbigeenna waynu ku dembaabnay.
Why are, we, sitting still? Gather yourselves together and let us enter the defenced cities And let us be silent there, —For, Yahweh our God, hath put us to silence And made us drink poisoned water, Because we have sinned against Yahweh.
15 Innagu nabad baynu sugaynay, laakiinse wanaag inooma iman, oo waxaynu sugaynay wakhti caafimaad leh, oo bal eega naxdin baa inoo timid!
A waiting For prosperity, but no welfare, —For a time of healing, but lo! terror.
16 Bururuftii fardihiisa dalka Daan baa laga maqlay, oo dalkii oo dhammuna wuxuu la gariiray dananiddii kuwiisa xoogga badan, waayo, way yimaadeen, oo waxay wada baabbi'iyeen dalkii, iyo wixii ku dhex jiray oo dhan, iyo magaalooyinkii iyo kuwii degganaa oo dhanba.
From Dan, was heard the snorting of his horses At the sound of the neighing of his chargers, the whole land trembled, —Yea they came in and did sat up The land and the fulness thereof, The city, and them who were dwelling therein.
17 Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, Anigu waxaan dhexdiinna ku soo dayn doonaa abeesooyin iyo jilbisyo aan la sixri karin, oo iyana way idin qaniini doonaan.
For behold me! sending among you serpents—vipers which there is no charming, —And they shall fatally bite you declareth Yahweh.
18 Murugtaydu waa mid aan la fududayn karin, oo qalbigaygiina waa igu dhex taag darnaaday.
When I would have cheered myself against sorrow, Against me, mine own heart sickened: —
19 Bal maqla codka qaylada dadkayga oo dal fog ka yeedhaya. Sow Rabbigu Siyoon ma joogo? Sow boqorkeedii ma dhex joogo? Bal maxay iigaga cadhaysiiyeen sanamyadooda xardhan iyo waxyaalahooda qalaad ee aan waxtarka lahayn?
Lo! the voice of the cry for help of the daughter of my people from a land far away, Is, Yahweh, not in Zion? Is, her King, not within her? Why, have they provoked me with their carved images, with their foreign vanities?
20 Beergoosadkii waa dhaafay, oo midhoguriddiina waa idlaatay, laakiin innagu weli ma aynu badbaadin.
The harvest is passed, The fruit-gathering, is ended; And we are not saved!
21 Anigu waxaan ku xanuunsaday nabarkii ku dhacay dadkayga. Murug baan la madoobaaday, oo yaab baa i haya.
For the grievous injury of the daughter of my people, I am grievously injured, —I am enshrouded in gloom, Horror, hath seized me: —
22 Ma Gilecaad baan beeyo dawo ah oollin, mase dhakhtar baan halkaas joogin? Bal maxaa bogsiinta dadkaygu u dhammaystirmi weyday?
Balsam, is there none, in Gilead? Is there no physician, there? Why hath not appeared the healing of the daughter of my people?
