Yeremyaah 7
1 Kanu waa eraygii Yeremyaah uga yimid xagga Rabbiga, isagoo leh,
The word that came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, saying,
2 Guriga Rabbiga iriddiisa istaag, oo waxaad halkaas ka naadisaa eraygan, oo waxaad tidhaahdaa, Kuwiinna dadka Yahuudah oo irdahan u gala inaad Rabbiga caabuddaanow, kulligiin bal erayga Rabbiga maqla.
“Stand at the gate of Yahweh's house and proclaim this word! Say, 'Hear the word of Yahweh, all you of Judah, you who enter these gates to worship Yahweh.
3 Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Jidadkiinna iyo falimihiinnaba hagaajiya, oo anna waan idinka yeeli doonaa inaad meeshan degganaataan.
Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, says this: Make your ways and practices good, and I will let you continue to live in this place.
4 Ha isku hallaynina erayo been ah oo leh, Macbudkii Rabbiga, Macbudkii Rabbiga, Macbudkii Rabbigu waa kan.
Do not entrust yourself to deceitful words and say, “Temple of Yahweh! Temple of Yahweh! Temple of Yahweh!”
5 Waayo, haddaad jidadkiinna iyo falimihiinnaba wada hagaajisaan, oo aad caddaalad ugu garsoortaan nin iyo deriskiisa,
For if you actually make your ways and practices good; if you completely execute justice between a man and his neighbor—
6 iyo haddaydnan dulmin shisheeyaha iyo agoonta iyo carmalka, oo aydaan meeshan ku daadin dhiig aan xaq qabin, oo aydaan ilaahyo kale waxyeelladiinna u daba gelin,
if you do not exploit the one staying in the land, the orphan, or the widow and do not pour out innocent blood in this place, and do not walk after other gods to your own harm—
7 de markaas waxaan idinka yeeli doonaa inaad degganaataan meeshan, oo ah dalkii aan waa hore awowayaashiin u siiyey inay weligood lahaadaan.
then I will let you stay in this place, in the land that I gave to your ancestors from ancient times and forever.
8 Bal eega, idinku waxaad isku hallaysaan erayo been ah oo aan waxba idin tari karin.
Behold! You are trusting in deceitful words that do not help you.
9 Intaad wax xaddaan, oo dhiig daadisaan, oo sinaysataan, oo been ku dhaarataan, oo Bacal foox u shiddaan, oo ilaahyo kale oo aydaan aqoon daba gashaan,
Do you steal, kill, and commit adultery? Do you swear deceitfully and offer incense to Baal and walk after other gods whom you have not known?
10 miyaad i hor imanaysaan, oo gurigan laygu magacaabay gudihiisa soo istaagaysaan, oo odhanaysaan, Annaga waa nala samatabbixiyey, si aad haddana karaahiyadan oo dhan u sii samaysaan?
Then do you come and stand before me in this house that is called by my name and say, “We are saved,” so you can do all of these abominations?
11 Gurigan laygu magacaabay ma wuxuu hortiinna ku noqday god tuugo? Bal eega, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Aniguba waan arkay.
Is this house, which carries my name, a den of bandits in your eyes? But behold, I have seen it—this is Yahweh's declaration.'
12 Laakiinse haatan bal taga meeshaydii Shiiloh ku oolli jirtay, oo aan markii ugu horraysay magacayga dejiyey, oo bal soo arka wixii aan ugu sameeyey xumaantii dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil aawadeed.
'So go to my place that was in Shiloh, where I allowed my name to stay there in the beginning, and look at what I did to it because of the wickedness of my people Israel.
13 Oo haatan Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Idinku waxaad samayseen shuqulladan oo dhan, oo anna goor wanaagsan waan idinla hadlay, laakiinse ima aydaan maqlin, waanan idiin dhawaaqay, laakiinse iima aydaan jawaabin,
So now, on account of your doing all of these practices—this is Yahweh's declaration—I spoke to you time and time again, but you did not listen. I summoned you, but you did not answer.
14 sidaas daraaddeed gurigan laygu magacaabay, oo aad isku hallaynaysaan, iyo meeshii aan siiyey idinka iyo awowayaashiinba ayaan ku samayn doonaa wixii aan Shiiloh ku sameeyey oo kale.
Therefore, what I did to Shiloh, I will also do to this house that is called by my name, the house in which you have trusted, this place that I gave to you and your ancestors.
15 Oo idinkana hortaydaan idinka xoori doonaa sidaan u xooray dhammaan walaalihiinna ah farcankii Efrayim oo dhan.
For I will send you out from before me just as I had sent out all your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.'
16 Sidaas daraaddeed dadkan ha u ducayn, oo baryootan iyo salaad midna iyaga aawadood ha u samayn, oo hana ii baryin iyaga aawadood, waayo, innaba ku maqli maayo.
As for you, Jeremiah, do not pray for this people, and do not lift up a lamenting wail or say a prayer on their behalf, and do not petition me, for I will not listen to you.
17 War miyaadan arkayn waxay ku dhex sameeyaan magaalooyinka dalka Yahuudah iyo jidadka Yeruusaalemba?
Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
18 Carruurtu qoryay soo guraan, aabbayaashuna dabkay shidaan, naaguhuna bur bay cajiimaan inay kibis u sameeyaan boqoradda samada, oo ay ilaahyo kale qurbaanno cabniin ah u daadiyaan, si ay iga cadhaysiiyaan.
The children are gathering wood and the fathers kindling the fire! The women are kneading dough to make cakes for the queen of the heavens and pour out drink offerings for other gods so that they will provoke me.
19 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Ma aniga baa kan ay ka cadhaysiiyaan? Sow iyagu iskagama ay cadhaysiin ceebta ay isku soo jiideen?
Are they truly provoking me?—this is Yahweh's declaration—is it not themselves whom they are provoking, so that shame is on them?
20 Sidaas daraaddeed Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, xanaaqayga iyo cadhadayda ayaan ku soo dejin doonaa meeshan iyo dadka iyo duunyada, iyo dhirta duurka, iyo midhaha dhulkaba. Cadhadaydu way wada gubi doontaa oo lamana demin doono.
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says this, 'See, my anger and wrath will gush out onto this place, on both man and beast, on the tree in the fields and the fruit on the ground. It will burn and never be extinguished.'
21 Rabbiga ciidammada oo Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Qurbaannadiinna la gubo allabaryadiinna ku darsada, oo hilibkana iska cuna.
Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel says this, 'Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and the meat from them.
22 Waayo, waagii aan awowayaashiin dalka Masar ka soo bixiyey kalama hadlin, kumana amrin wax ku saabsan qurbaanno la gubo iyo allabaryo toona,
For when I brought your ancestors out from the land of Egypt, I did not require anything from them. I gave them no command about matters of burnt offerings and sacrifices.
23 laakiinse waxaan iyaga ku amray, oo aan ku idhi, Codkayga dhegaysta, oo anigu waxaan idiin noqon doonaa Ilaah, idinkuna waxaad ahaan doontaan dadkayga oo ku socda jidkii aan idinku amray oo dhan, si aad u nabdoonaataan.
I only gave them this command, “Listen to my voice, and I will be your God and you will be my people. So walk in all the ways that I am commanding you, so that it may go well with you.”
24 Laakiinse ima ay dhegaysan, dhegna iima dhigin, illowse waxay ku socdeen talooyinkii iyo caasinimadii qalbigooda sharka ah, oo dib bay u socdeen, horena uma dhaqaaqin.
But they did not listen or pay attention. They lived by their own stubborn plans of their wicked hearts, so they went backwards, not forward.
25 Tan iyo maalintii ay awowayaashiin dalkii Masar ka soo bexeen iyo ilaa maantadan la joogo waxaan maalin kasta idiin soo diri jiray midiidinnadayda nebiyadii addoommadaydii ahaa oo dhan, anigoo goor wanaagsan diraya.
Ever since the day when your ancestors went out from the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent every one of my servants, my prophets, to you. I persisted in sending them.
26 Laakiinse ima ay dhegaysan, dhegna iima ay dhigin, illowse way sii madax adkaadeen, oo waxay sameeyeen wax ka sii xun wixii ay awowayaashood samayn jireen.
But they did not listen to me. They paid no attention. Instead, they hardened their necks. They were more wicked than their ancestors.'
27 Haddaba waa inaad erayadan oo dhan u sheegtaa, laakiinse iyagu kuma ay dhegaysan doonaan, oo weliba waa inaad u dhawaaqdaa, laakiinse innaba kuuma ay jawaabi doonaan.
So proclaim all these words to them, but they will not listen to you. Proclaim these things to them, but they will not answer you.
28 Oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Tanu waa quruun aan codka Rabbiga Ilaahooda dhegaysan, oo aan innaba edeb qaadan. Runtii way baabba'day, oo afkooday ka go'day.
Say to them: This is a nation that does not listen to the voice of Yahweh its God and does not receive discipline. Truth is destroyed and cut off from their mouths.
29 Timahaaga iska xiir oo iska xoor, oo waxaad ku baroorataa meelaha dhaadheer, waayo, Rabbigu waa nacay oo waa ka tegey qarniga cadhadiisu ku dhacday.
Cut off your hair and shave yourself, and throw away your hair. Sing a funeral song over the open places. For Yahweh has rejected and abandoned this generation in his rage.
30 Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Dadka Yahuudah wax hortayda shar ku ah ayay sameeyeen. Si ay gurigii laygu magacaabay u nijaaseeyaan ayay karaahiyadoodii dhex qotomiyeen.
For the sons of Judah have done evil in my eye—this is Yahweh's declaration—they have set their detestable things in the house that is called by my name, in order to defile it.
31 Oo waxay dhisteen meelaha sarsare ee Tofed oo ku dhex yaal dooxada ina Xinnom, si ay wiilashooda iyo gabdhahoodaba dab ugu dhex gubaan, taasoo aanan iyaga ku amrin, oo aan innaba qalbigayga soo gelin.
Then they built the high place of Topheth that is in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. They did this to burn their sons and daughters in fire—something that I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.
32 Sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaa iman doona wakhti aan mar dambe loogu yeedhi doonin Tofed, amase dooxadii ina Xinnom, laakiinse waxaa lagu magacaabi doonaa Dooxadii Gowracidda, waayo, waxay meydad ku aasi doonaan Tofed, maxaa yeelay, meel kalaa la waayi doonaa.
So see, days are coming—this is Yahweh's declaration—when it will no longer be called Topheth or Valley of Ben Hinnom. It will be the Valley of Slaughter; they will bury bodies in Topheth until there is no room left.
33 Waayo, dadkan meydkoodu wuxuu cunto u noqon doonaa haadka samada iyo dugaagga dhulka, oo ciduna kama ay eryi doonto.
The corpses of this people will be food for the birds of the skies and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
34 Oo markaasaan magaalooyinka dalka Yahuudah iyo jidadka Yeruusaalemba ka joojin doonaa codka rayraynta, iyo codka farxadda, iyo codka arooska, iyo codka aroosaddaba, waayo, dalku wuxuu noqon doonaa cidla.
I will put an end to the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem, the sound of joy and the sound of gladness, the sound of the groom and the sound of the bride, for the land will become a desolation.”
