1 Reer Benyaamiinow, Yeruusaalem dhexdeeda ka carara, oo buunka Teqooca ka yeedhiya, oo Beyd Hakeremna calaamad kor uga qaada, waayo, waxaa xagga woqooyi ka soo socda masiibo iyo halligaad weyn.
O ye children of Beniamin, prepare to flee out of the middes of Ierusalem, and blowe the trumpet in Tekoa: set vp a standart vpon Beth-haccerem: for a plague appeareth out of the North and great destruction.
2 Magaalada Siyoon oo u eg naag suurad wacan oo jilicsan ayaan baabbi'in doonaa.
I haue compared the daughter of Zion to a beautifull and daintie woman.
3 Waxaa iyada u iman doona adhijirro adhyahoodii wata, oo teendhooyinkooda ayay hareeraheeda ka dhisan doonaan, oo midkood kastaaba wuxuu iska daaqsan doonaa meeshiisa.
The pastors with their flockes shall come vnto her: they shall pitche their tentes rounde about by her, and euery one shall feede in his place.
4 Isu diyaariya inaad iyada dagaal ugu kacdaan, sara joogsada, oo ina keena aan iyada hadhka weerarnee. Annagaa iska hoognay, waayo, gabbalkii waa dhacay, oo hooskii habeennimo ayaa sii dheeraaday.
Prepare warre against her: arise, and let vs goe vp toward the South: wo vnto vs: for the day declineth, and the shadowes of the euening are stretched out.
5 Sara joogsada, oo ina keena aynu iyada habeennimo weerarnee, oo aynu daaraheeda waaweyn wada duminnee.
Arise, and let vs goe vp by night, and destroy her palaces.
6 Waayo, Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu yidhi, Dhirteeda jara, oo Yeruusaalem tuulmo ku tuula, waayo, tanu waa magaalada la ciqaabayo, oo waxaa ka buuxa dulmi miidhan.
For thus hath the Lord of hostes said, Hewe downe wood, and cast a mounte against Ierusalem: this citie must be visited: all oppression is in the middes of it.
7 Sidii ili biyaheeda u soo burqiso oo kale ayay sharnimadeeda u soo burqisaa had iyo goorba, dhexdeedana waxaa laga maqlaa dulmi iyo kharribaad, oo had iyo goorna waxaa hortayda yaal cudur iyo nabro.
As the fountaine casteth out her waters, so she casteth out her malice: crueltie and spoyle is continually heard in her before me with sorowe and strokes.
8 Yeruusaalemay, si aan naftaydu kaaga tegin, oo aanan kaaga dhigin cidlo iyo dal aan ciduna degganayn, edeb qaado.
Be thou instructed, O Ierusalem, lest my soule depart from thee, lest I make thee desolate as a land, that none inhabiteth.
9 Rabbigii ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Kuwa dadka Israa'iil ee hadhay waxaa loo wada xaabxaabi doonaa sida geedcanab oo kale, Sida mid canab guranaya oo kale gacanta dambiisha ku soo celiya.
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes, They shall gather as a vine, the residue of Israel: turne backe thine hande as the grape gatherer into the baskets.
10 Inay i maqlaan bal yaan la hadlaa oo aan u digaa? Bal eega, dhegahoodu ma xalaalaysna, oo waxba ma ay maqli karaan. Bal eega, erayga Rabbigu cay buu iyaga u noqday, oo innaba kuma ay farxaan.
Vnto whome shall I speake, and admonish that they may heare? beholde, their eares are vncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: beholde, the worde of the Lord is vnto them as a reproche: they haue no delite in it.
11 Sidaas daraaddeed waxaa iga buuxda cadhadii Rabbiga, oo inaan isceliyo waan ku daalay. Haddaba cadhadii ku deji carruurta jidka joogta iyo shirka barbaarrada oo dhan, waayo, xataa nin iyo naagtiisaba waa la kaxayn doonaa, oo odayga iyo kan cimriga dheerba waa la isla wada kaxayn doonaa.
Therefore I am full of the wrath of the Lord: I am weary with holding it: I will powre it out vpon the children in the streete, and likewise vpon the assembly of the yong men: for the husband shall euen be taken with the wife, and the aged with him that is full of daies.
12 Oo guryahooda, iyo beerahooda, iyo naagahoodaba kuwa kalaa la siin doonaa dhammaantoodba, waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu waxaan gacantayda ku fidin doonaa dadka dalka deggan.
And their houses with their landes, and wiues also shalbe turned vnto strangers: for I will stretch out mine hande vpon the inhabitants of the land, sayeth the Lord.
13 Waayo, kooda ugu yar ilaa kooda ugu weyn midkood kastaaba wuxuu u go'ay damacxumaan, oo nebiga iyo xataa wadaadka inta ka dhexle midkood kastaaba been buu ku macaamiloodaa.
For from the least of them, euen vnto the greatest of them, euery one is giuen vnto couetousnesse, and from the Prophet euen vnto the Priest, they all deale falsely.
14 Oo iyagu dhaawicii dadkayga ayay si fudud u bogsiiyeen, oo iyadoo aan innaba nabadu jirin ayay yidhaahdaan, Waa nabad! Waa nabad!
They haue healed also ye hurt of the daughter of my people with sweete woordes, saying, Peace, peace, when there is no peace.
15 Markay karaahiyada sameeyeen miyey xishoodeen? Maya, innaba ma ay xishoon, ceebna ma garan, sidaas daraaddeed waxay la dhici doonaan kuwa dhacaya. Oo Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Wakhtigii aan iyaga soo ciqaabo ayay hoos u dhici doonaan.
Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not ashamed, no neither coulde they haue any shame: therefore they shall fall among the slaine: when I shall visite them, they shall be cast downe, sayth the Lord.
16 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Jidadka dhex istaaga, oo bal wax fiiriya, oo bal dhabbayaashii hore haybsada, oo waxaad tidhaahdaan, Meeh jidkii wanaagsanaa? Oo markaas ku socdaa, oo naftiinna nasashaad u heli doontaan. Laakiinse iyagu waxay yidhaahdeen, Annagu ku socon mayno jidkaas.
Thus sayeth the Lord, Stande in the waies and beholde, and aske for the olde way, which is the good way and walke therein, and yee shall finde rest for your soules: but they saide, We will not walke therein.
17 Oo weliba waxaan idiin dhigay waardiyayaal, oo waxaan idinku idhi, Buunka dhawaaqiisa dhegaysta. Laakiinse iyagu waxay yidhaahdeen, Annagu waxba dhegaysan mayno.
Also I set watchmen ouer you, which said, Take heede to the sound of the trumpet: but they said, We will not take heede.
18 Sidaas daraaddeed, quruumahow bal maqla, oo ururkow, bal ogow waxa kuwan ku dhici doona.
Heare therefore, yee Gentiles, and thou Congregation knowe, what is among them.
19 Dhulkow, bal maqal, oo bal ogow, dadkan masiibaan ku soo dejin doonaa taasoo ah waxay fikirradoodii keeneen, waayo, erayadaydii ma ayan dhegaysan, sharcigaygiina way diideen.
Heare, O earth, beholde, I will cause a plague to come vpon this people, euen the fruite of their owne imaginations: because they haue not taken heede vnto my woordes, nor to my Lawe, but cast it off.
20 Fooxa Shebaa ka yimid iyo qasabka macaan ee dal fog laga keenay maxay ii taraan? Qurbaannadiinna la gubo aqbali maayo, oo allabaryadiinnuna iga farxin maayaan.
To what purpose bringest thou mee incense from Sheba, and sweete calamus from a farre countrey? Your burnt offerings are not pleasant, nor your sacrifices sweete vnto me.
21 Oo sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal eega, waxaan dadkan hor dhigi doonaa wax lagu turunturoodo, oo aabbayaasha iyo wiilashuba way ku wada turunturoon doonaan, oo deriska iyo saaxiibkiisba way wada halligmi doonaan.
Therefore thus sayeth the Lord, Beholde, I will laie stumbling blockes before this people, and the fathers and the sonnes together shall fall vpon them: the neighbour and his friende shall perish.
22 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal ogaada, dadyow baa dalka woqooyi ka iman doona, oo quruun weyn ayaa dhulka darafyadiisa ka soo kici doonta.
Thus sayeth the Lord, Beholde, a people commeth from the North countrey, and a great nation shall arise from the sides of the earth.
23 Oo waxay sitaan qaansooyin iyo warmo, oo waa calool adag yihiin, oo innaba naxariis ma leh. Codkoodana waxaa la moodaa sida bad guuxaysa oo kale, oo farday fuulaan. Siyoonay, mid kastaaba wuxuu kuugu soo safan yahay sida nin dagaal diyaar u ah oo kale.
With bowe and shield shall they be weaponed: they are cruell and will haue no compassion: their voyce roareth like the sea, and they ride vpon horses, well appointed, like men of warre against thee, O daughter Zion.
24 Waxaannu maqalnay warkoodii, oo gacmahayagii way taag gabeen, oo cidhiidhi iyo xanuun baa noo qabtay sida naag foolanaysa oo kale.
We haue heard their fame, and our handes waxe feeble sorrowe is come vpon vs, as the sorrowe of a woman in trauaile.
25 Berrinka ha u bixina, oo jidkana ha marina, waayo, seeftii cadowga iyo cabsi baa dhan kasta idinka jirta.
Goe not foorth into the fielde, nor walke by the way: for the sword of the enemie and feare is on euery side.
26 Dadkaygow, joonyad xidho, oo dambas ku galgalo, oo waxaad u baroorataa sida wiil madi ah loogu baroorto, oo waxaad ku ooydaa baroor aad u qadhaadh, waayo, waxbaabbi'iyihii dhaqsuu inoogu soo degi doonaa.
O daughter of my people, girde thee with sackecloth, and wallowe thy selfe in the ashes: make lamentation, and bitter mourning as for thine onely sonne: for the destroier shall suddenly come vpon vs.
27 Waxaan dadkayga dhexdiisa kuu dhigay inaad ahaatid imtixaame, si aad jidkooda u ogaatid oo aad u imtixaantid.
I haue set thee for a defence and fortresse among my people, that thou maiest knowe and trie their waies.
28 Iyagu waa caasiyiin fallaagoobay, oo xan bay la ordaan oo iyagu waa naxaas iyo bir, oo kulligoodna waa kuwa wax kharriba.
They are all rebellious traitours, walking craftily: they are brasse, and yron, they all are destroyers.
29 Buufinkii aad buu wax u buufiyaa, oo laxaamaddiina dabkaa baabba'saday, oo lacag shubihiina waxtarla'aan buu wax u sii dhalaalinayaa, waayo, sharrowyadii weli ma soocna.
The bellowes are burnt: the lead is consumed in the fire: the founder melteth in vaine: for the wicked are not taken away.
30 Waxaa iyaga loogu yeedhi doonaa, Lacag la nacay, waayo, Rabbigu iyaguu nacay.
They shall call them reprobate siluer, because the Lord hath reiected them.
