< Yeremyaah 26 >

1 Bilowgii boqornimadii Yehooyaaqiim ina Yoosiyaah oo boqor ka ahaa dalka Yahuudah ayaa erayganu xagga Rabbiga ka yimid, isagoo leh,
In the beginning of the reign of king Sedekias, there came this word concerning Aelam.
2 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaad istaagtaa guriga Rabbiga barxaddiisa, oo dadka magaalooyinka dalka Yahuudah oo u yimid inay Rabbiga gurigiisa ku caabudaan oo dhan la hadal, oo erayada aan kugu amro inaad kula hadashid erayna ha ka reebin.
FOR EGYPT, AGAINST THE POWER OF PHARAO NECHAO KING OF EGYPT, who was by the river Euphrates in Charmis, whom Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon struck in the fourth year of Joakim king of Juda.
3 Mindhaa waxaa suurtowda inay ku maqlaan oo mid kastaaba ka soo noqdo jidkiisa sharka ah, inaan anigu ka soo noqdo masiibadii aan u qasdiyey inaan iyaga ku sameeyo sharka falimahooda aawadiis.
Take up arms and spears, and draw near to battle;
4 Oo waxaad iyaga ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Haddaad i maqli weydaan si aad ugu socotaan sharcigayga aan idin hor dhigay,
and harness the horses: mount, you horsemen, and stand ready in your helmets; advance the spears, and put on your breastplates.
5 oo aad u maqashaan erayada nebiyada addoommadayda ah oo aan idiin soo diro, anigoo goor wanaagsan idiin soo diraya, laakiin innaba ma aydaan dhegaysan,
Why do they fear, and turn back? even because their mighty men shall be slain: they have utterly fled, and being hemmed in they have not rallied, says the Lord.
6 markaas gurigan waxaan ka dhigi doonaa sida Shiiloh oo kale, oo magaaladanna quruumaha dunida oo dhan ayaan habaar uga dhigi doonaa.
Let not the swift flee, and let not the mighty man escape to the north: the [forces] at Euphrates are become feeble, and they have fallen.
7 Oo wadaaddadii iyo nebiyadii iyo dadkii oo dhammuba waxay maqleen Yeremyaah oo erayadan gurigii Rabbiga kagaga dhex hadlaya,
Who is this [that] shall come up as a river, and as rivers roll [their] waves?
8 oo markii Yeremyaah uu wada dhammeeyey hadalkii uu Rabbigu ku amray inuu dadka oo dhan kula hadlo ayaa wadaaddadii, iyo nebiyadii, iyo dadkii oo dhammu isagii qabteen, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Hubaal waa inaad dhimataa!
The waters of Egypt shall come up like a river: and he said, I will go up, and will cover the earth, and will destroy the dwellers in it.
9 Bal maxaad magaca Rabbiga wax ugu sii sheegtay adigoo leh, Guriganu wuxuu noqon doonaa sidii Shiiloh oo kale, oo magaaladanuna waxay noqon doontaa cidla oo aan ciduna degganayn? Oo dadkii oo dhammuna Yeremyaah ayay gurigii Rabbiga ugu soo wada urureen.
Mount you the horses, prepare the chariots; go forth, you warriors of the Ethiopians, and Libyans armed with shields; and mount, you Lydians, bend the bow.
10 Oo amiirradii dalka Yahuudahna markay waxyaalahaas maqleen ayay gurigii boqorka ka soo bexeen oo waxay yimaadeen gurigii Rabbiga, wayna fadhiisteen meesha laga soo galo iridda cusub ee guriga Rabbiga.
And that day [shall be] to the Lord our God a day of vengeance, to take vengeance on his enemies: and the sword of the Lord shall devour, and be glutted, and be drunken with their blood: for the Lord [has] a sacrifice from the land of the north at the river Euphrates.
11 Markaasaa wadaaddadii iyo nebiyadii la hadleen amiirradii iyo dadkii oo dhan, oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Ninkanu dhimashuu istaahilaa, waayo, magaaladan ayuu wax ka sii sheegay sidii idinkuba aad dhegihiinna ku maqasheen.
Go up to Galaad, and take balm for the virgin daughter of Egypt: in vain have you multiplied your medicines; there is no help in you.
12 Markaas Yeremyaah wuxuu la hadlay amiirradii oo dhan iyo dadkii oo dhan, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Rabbiga ayaa ii soo diray inaan gurigan iyo magaaladanba ka sii sheego erayadii aad maqasheen oo dhan.
The nations have heard your voice, and the land has been filled with your cry: for the warriors have fainted fighting one against another, [and] both are fallen together.
13 Haddaba jidadkiinna iyo falimihiinnaba hagaajiya, oo codka Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ah addeeca, oo Rabbiguna wuu ka soo noqon doonaa masiibadii uu idinkaga hadlay.
THE WORDS WHICH THE LORD SPOKE by Jeremias, concerning the coming of the king of Babylon to strike the land of Egypt.
14 Bal eega, anigu gacmihiinnaan ku jiraa, haddaba iigu sameeya sida idinla wanaagsan oo idinla qumman.
Proclaim [it] at Magdol, and declare [it] at Memphis: say you, Stand up, and prepare; for the sword has devoured your yew tree.
15 Laakiinse bal si xaqiiq ah u ogaada, haddaad i dishaan, waxaad nafsaddiinna iyo magaaladan iyo dadka degganba u soo jiidaysaan dhiig aan xaq qabin, waayo, sida runta ah Rabbiga ayaa ii soo diray xaggiinna inaan dhegihiinna oo dhan erayadan maqashiiyo.
Therefore has Apis fled from you? your choice calf has not remained; for the Lord has utterly weakened him.
16 Markaasaa amiirradii iyo dadkii oo dhammu waxay wadaaddadii iyo nebiyadii ku yidhaahdeen, Ninkanu dhimasho ma istaahilo, waayo, wuxuu nagula hadlay magicii Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ah.
And your multitude has fainted and fallen; and each one said to his neighbor, Let us arise, and return into our country to our people, from the Grecian sword.
17 Markaas waxaa istaagay qaar ka mid ah waayeelladii dalka oo waxay la hadleen shirkii dadka oo dhan, iyagoo leh,
Call you the name of Pharao Nechao king of Egypt, Saon esbeie moed.
18 Miikaah kii reer Mooreshed ayaa wax sii sheegay wakhtigii Xisqiyaah uu boqorka ka ahaa dalka Yahuudah, oo dadka Yahuudah oo dhan ayuu la hadlay, oo wuxuu yidhi, Rabbiga ciidammadu wuxuu leeyahay, Siyoon waxaa loo jeexi doonaa sida beer oo kale, oo Yeruusaalemna waxay noqon doontaa taallooyin burbur ah, oo buurta guriguna waxay noqon doontaa sidii meelaha sarsare ee kaynta ku yaal oo kale.
[As] I live, says the Lord God, he shall come as Itabyrion among the mountains, and as Carmel that is on the sea.
19 Haddaba Xisqiyaah oo ahaa boqorkii dalka Yahuudah, iyo dadka Yahuudah oo dhammu miyey isagii dileen? Oo miyuusan isagu Rabbiga ka cabsan, oo uusan Rabbiga baryin, oo Rabbiguna miyuusan ka soo noqon masiibadii uu iyaga kaga hadlay? Innagu masiibo weyn ayaynu nafteenna u soo jiidi lahayn haddaan isaga dilno.
O daughter of Egypt dwelling [at home], prepare you stuff for removing: for Memphis shall be utterly desolate, and shall be called Woe, because there are no inhabitants in it.
20 Oo weliba waxaa kaloo jiray nin magaca Rabbiga wax ku sii sheegay, waana Uuriyaah ina Shemacyaah oo ahaa reer Qiryad Yecaariim, oo isna wuxuu magaaladan iyo dalkanba ka sii sheegay wax erayada Yeremyaah oo dhan waafaqsan.
Egypt is a fair heifer, [but] destruction from the north is come upon her.
21 Oo markii Boqor Yehooyaaqiim, iyo raggiisii xoogga badnaa oo dhan, iyo amiirradii oo dhammu ay erayadiisii maqleen ayaa boqorkii damcay inuu isaga dilo, laakiinse Uuriyaah markuu xaalkaas maqlay ayuu baqay, oo intuu cararay ayuu dalkii Masar tegey.
Also her hired [soldiers] in the midst of her are as fatted calves fed in her; for they also have turned, and fled with one accord: they stood not, for the day of destruction was come upon them, and the time of their retribution.
22 Markaasaa Boqor Yehooyaaqiim rag u diray dalkii Masar, waxayna ahaayeen Elnaataan ina Cakboor iyo rag kale oo isaga dalkii Masar u raacay.
Their voice is as [that] of a hissing serpent, for they go upon the sand; they shall come upon Egypt with axes, as men that cut wood.
23 Oo iyana dalkii Masar ayay Uuriyaah ka soo bixiyeen, oo waxay u keeneen Boqor Yehooyaaqiim, oo isna seef buu isagii ku dilay, oo meydkiisiina wuu ku dhex tuuray qabuuraha dadka.
They shall cut down her forest, says the Lord, for [their number] can’t at all be conjectured, for it exceeds the locust in multitude, and they are innumerable.
24 Habase ahaatee Axiiqaam ina Shaafaan gacantiisu way la jirtay Yeremyaah inayan isaga ku ridin dadka gacantiisa si ay u dilaan.
The daughter of Egypt is confounded; she is delivered into the hands of a people from the north.
Behold, I [will] avenge Ammon her son upon Pharao, and upon them that trust in him.
But fear not you, my servant Jacob, neither be you alarmed, Israel: for, behold, I will save you from afar, and your seed from their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be at ease, and sleep, and there shall be no one to trouble him.
Fear not you, my servant Jacob, says the Lord; for I am with you: she [that was] without fear and in luxury, has been delivered up: for I will make a full end of every nation among whom I have thrust you forth; but I will not cause you to fail: yet will I chastise you in the way of judgment, and will not hold you entirely guiltless.
