1 Dadka Israa'iilow, bal maqla erayga Rabbigu idinkula hadlayo.
The hous of Israel, here ye the word which the Lord spak on you.
2 Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Ha baranina jidka quruumaha, oo hana ka nixina calaamadaha samada, waayo, quruumahaa ka naxa iyaga.
The Lord seith these thingis, Nyle ye lerne aftir the weies of hethene men, and nyle ye drede of the signes of heuene, whiche signes hethene men dreden.
3 Waayo, dadyowga caadooyinkoodu waxtar ma leh, maxaa yeelay, mid baa kaynta geed ka soo jara, waana wax ay nin saanac ah gacmihiisu faas ku sameeyaan.
For the lawis of puplis ben veyn, for whi the werk of hondis of a crafti man hath kit doun with an axe a tre of the forest.
4 Waxaa lagu sharraxaa lacag iyo dahab, oo waxaa lagu dhuujiyaa musmaarro iyo dubbayaal, si uusan u dhaqdhaqaaqin.
He made it fair with siluer and gold; with naylis and hameris he ioynede it togidere, that it be not loosid.
5 Sanamyadaas waa sida geed timireed oo toosan, laakiinse ma ay hadlaan, oo waxay u baahan yihiin in la qaado, maxaa yeelay, ma ay socon karaan. Iyaga ha ka baqina, waayo, wax xun idinkuma samayn karaan, oo weliba innaba wax san ma samayn karaan.
Idols ben maad in the licnesse of a palm tree, and schulen not speke; tho schulen be takun and be borun, for tho moun not go; therfor nyle ye drede tho, for tho moun nether do yuel, nethir wel.
6 Rabbiyow, mid kula mid ahu ma jiro. Adigu waad weyn tahay, oo magacaaguna waa xoog badan yahay.
Lord, noon is lijk thee; thou art greet, and thi name is greet in strengthe.
7 Boqorka quruumahow, kan aan kaa cabsanaynu waa kuma? Waayo, way kugu habboon tahay, maxaa yeelay, kuwa xigmadda leh ee quruumaha iyo boqortooyooyinkooda oo dhanba mid kula mid ahu ma jiro.
A! thou king of folkis, who schal not drede thee? for whi onour is thin among alle wise men of hethene men, and in alle the rewmes of hem noon is lijk thee.
8 Laakiinse iyagu dhammaantood waa doqonno iyo nacasyo, cilmigoodu waa wax aan waxtar lahayn, waayo, waa qori uun.

9 Lacag la tumay baa Tarshiish laga keenaa, oo dahabna Uufaas, waana nin saanac ah shuqulkiis, iyo wixii lacagshubuhu uu gacmihiisa ku sameeyey, oo dharkooduna waa buluug iyo guduud, oo dhammaantoodna waa nin saanac ah shuqulkiis.
Siluer wlappid is brouyt fro Tharsis, and gold fro Ophaz; it is the werk of a crafti man, and of the hond of a worchere in metel; iacynct and purpur ben the clothing of tho; alle these thingis ben the werk of werk men.
10 Laakiinse Rabbigu waa Ilaaha runta ah. Isagu waa Ilaaha nool iyo boqorka weligiis ah. Cadhadiisa ayaa dhulku la gariiraa, oo quruumuhuna uma ay adkaysan karaan dhirifkiisa.
Forsothe the Lord is veri God; he is God lyuynge, and a kyng euerlastynge; the erthe schal be mouyd togidere of his indignacioun, and hethene men schulen not suffre the manaassing of hym.
11 Waxaad iyaga ku tidhaahdaan, Ilaahyadii aan samooyinka iyo dhulka samayninu way ka wada baabbi'i doonaan dhulka dushiisa iyo samooyinka hoostooda.
Therfor thus ye schulen seie to hem, Goddis that maden not heuene and erthe, perische fro erthe, and fro these thingis that ben vndur heuene.
12 Isagu dhulka xooggiisuu ku sameeyey, dunidana xigmaddiisuu ku dhisay, oo samooyinkana waxgarashadiisuu ku kala bixiyey.
He is God, that makith the erthe in his strengthe, makith redi the world in his wisdom, and stretchith forth heuenes bi his prudence.
13 Markuu codkiisa ku hadlo biyo badan guuxooda baa samooyinka laga maqlaa, oo isagaa ka dhiga in dhulka darafyadiisa uumi ka soo kaco, roobkana wuxuu u sameeyaa hillaac, oo dabayshana isagaa khasnadihiisa ka soo saara.
At his vois he yyueth the multitude of watris in heuene, and he reisith mystis fro the endis of erthe; he makith leitis into reyn, and ledith out wynd of his tresouris.
14 Nin kastaaba wuxuu noqday doqon aan aqoon lahayn, oo dahabshube kastaaba wuxuu ku ceeboobay sanamkiisii la xardhay, waayo, sanamkiisii la shubay waa been oo innaba neef ma leh.
Ech man is maad a fool of kunnyng, ech crafti man is schent in a grauun ymage; for whi that that he wellide togidere is fals, and no spirit is in tho.
15 Iyagu waa wax aan waxtar lahayn iyo shuqul lagu majaajilowdo, oo wakhtiga ciqaabiddoodana way wada baabbi'i doonaan.
Tho ben veyn, and a werk worthi of scorn; tho schulen perische in the tyme of her visitacioun.
16 Kan Yacquub qaybta u ah iyaga la mid ma aha, waayo, isagu waa kan wax kasta abuuray, oo reer binu Israa'iilna waa qoladii dhaxalkiisa, oo magiciisuna waa Rabbiga ciidammada.
The part of Jacob is not lijk these, for he that formede alle thingis is God of Jacob, and Israel is the yerde of his eritage; the Lord of oostis is name to hym.
17 Tan la weerarayay, alaabtaada dalka ka soo ururso.
Thou that dwellist in bisegyng, gadere fro the lond thi schenschipe;
18 Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal eeg, dadka dalka deggan haddeer baan wadhfin doonaa, oo waan dhibi doonaa si ay u dareemaan.

19 Anigaa iska hoogay nabarkayga aawadiis! Dhaawacaygu aad buu u xun yahay, laakiinse waxaan is-idhi, Sida runta ah kanu waa xanuundaran, waase inaan u adkaystaa.
Wo to me on my sorewe, my wounde is ful yuel; forsothe Y seide, Pleynli this is my sikenesse, and Y schal bere it.
20 Taambuuggaygii waa baabba'ay, oo xadhkahaygii oo dhanna waa la jaray. Carruurtaydii way iga tageen oo ma ay joogaan, oo innaba lama arko cid teendhadayda mar dambe dhisaysa oo daahyadayda kor u taagaysa toona.
My tabernacle is distried, alle my roopis ben brokun; my sones yeden out fro me, and ben not; noon is that schal stretche forth more my tente, and schal reyse my skynnes.
21 Waayo, adhijirradii way wada doqonoobeen, oo Rabbigana waxba ma ay weyddiin. Oo sidaas daraaddeed ma ay liibaanin, oo adhyahooda oo dhammuna way kala firidhsan yihiin.
For the scheepherdis diden folili, and souyten not the Lord; therfor thei vndurstoden not, and alle the flok of hem is scaterid.
22 Bal maqla qaylada warka iyo rabshadda weyn oo xagga dalka woqooyi ka soo socota, oo markaas waxaa magaalooyinka dalka Yahuudah laga dhigi doonaa baabba' iyo meel ay dawacooyinku ku hoydaan.
Lo! the vois of hering cometh, and a greet mouynge togidere fro the lond of the north, that it sette the citees of Juda in to wildirnesse, and a dwellynge place of dragouns.
23 Rabbiyow, waan ogahay in binu-aadmiga jidkiisu uusan gacantiisa ku jirin, ninkii socda innaba karti uma leh inuu tallaabooyinkiisa toosiyo.
Lord, Y woot, that the weie of a man is not of hym, nether it is of a man that he go, and dresse hise steppis.
24 Rabbiyow, i edbi, si caddaalad ah mooyaane xanaaqaaga ha igu edbin, si aadan iiga dhigin wax aan waxba ahayn.
Lord, chastise thou me; netheles in doom and not in thi strong veniaunce, lest perauenture thou dryue me to nouyt.
25 Cadhadaada ku soo deji quruumaha aan ku aqoon iyo qolooyinka aan magacaaga kugu baryin, waayo, reer Yacquub way cuneen, hubaal way cuneen oo dhammeeyeen, oo rugtoodiina way baabbi'iyeen.
Schede out thin indignacioun on hethene men that knewen not thee, and on prouynces that clepiden not thi name to help; for thei eeten Jacob, and deuouriden hym, and wastiden hym, and destrieden the onour of hym.
