1 Habase ahaatee madow uma ahaan doono tii cidhiidhiga ku jirtay. Waagii hore wuxuu ka dhigay in la quudhsado dhulka Sebulun iyo dhulka Naftaali, laakiinse waagii dambe wuxuu ka dhigay in la sharafo dhulka ah xagga jidka badda, iyo Webi Urdun shishadiisa, iyo Galili quruumaha ka mid ah.
Yet the darkenesse shall not be according to the affliction that it had when at the first hee touched lightly the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, nor afteward when he was more grieuous by the way of the sea beyond Iorden in Galile of the Gentiles.
2 Dadkii ku socon jiray gudcurka ayaa iftiin weyn arkay, kuwii fadhiyi jiray dalka hooska dhimashada ahna iftiin baa u baxay.
The people that walked in darkenes haue seene a great light: they that dwelled in the land of the shadowe of death, vpon them hath the light shined.
3 Adigu quruunta waad badisay, oo farxaddoodiina waad sii kordhisay, oo waxay hortaada ugu farxaan sida farxadda wakhtiga beeraha la goosto, iyo sida niman booli qaybsanayaa ay u reyreeyaan oo kale.
Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased their ioye: they haue reioyced before thee according to the ioye in haruest, and as men reioyce when they deuide a spoyle.
4 Waayo, harqoodkii ku cuslaa, iyo hangoolkii garbaha lagaga dhufan jiray, iyo ushii kii dulmi jiray, ayaad jebisay sidii waagii reer Midyaan.
For the yoke of their burthen, and the staffe of their shoulder and the rod of their oppressour hast thou broken as in the day of Midian.
5 Waayo, ninka hubka leh ee buuqa ku dhex jira hubkiisa oo dhan iyo dharka dhiigga miidhanna waa la gubi doonaa oo waxaa laga dhigi doonaa wax dabka lagu shido.
Surely euery battell of the warriour is with noyse, and with tumbling of garments in blood: but this shall be with burning and deuouring of fire.
6 Waayo, waxaa inoo dhashay ilmo, waxaa layna siiyey wiil, oo boqornimadu garbihiisay saarmi doontaa, oo magiciisana waxaa loo bixin doonaa Ka Yaabkaleh, iyo Lataliye, iyo Ilaaha Xoogga leh, iyo Aabbaha Daa'imka ah, iyo Amiirka Nabadda.
For vnto vs a childe is borne, and vnto vs a Sonne is giuen: and the gouernement is vpon his shoulder, and he shall call his name Wonderfull, Counseller, The mightie God, The euerlasting Father, The prince of peace,
7 Oo boqornimadiisa iyo nabaddu way badnaan doonaan, dhammaadna uma lahaan doonaan carshiga Daa'uud iyo boqortooyadiisa, in la sii adkeeyo, oo caddaalad iyo xaqnimo lagu sii hayo haatan iyo tan iyo weligeedba. Oo tan waxaa samayn doona qiirada Rabbiga ciidammada.
The increase of his gouernement and peace shall haue none end: he shall sit vpon the throne of Dauid, and vpon his kingdome, to order it, and to stablish it with iudgement and with iustice, from hencefoorth, euen for euer: the zeale of the Lord of hostes will performe this.

The Lord hath sent a worde into Iaakob, and it hath lighted vpon Israel.
9 Oo waxaa garan doona dadka oo dhan, xataa reer Efrayim iyo kuwa Samaariya deggan oo kibirka iyo islaweynaanta qalbiga ku hadla, iyagoo leh,
And all the people shall knowe, euen Ephraim, and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and presumption of the heart,
10 Lebennadii way soo dheceen, laakiinse annagu waxaannu ku dhisi doonnaa dhagaxyo la qoray, geedihii darayga ahaa waa la jaray, laakiinse waxaannu ku beddeli doonnaa geedo kedar ah.
The brickes are fallen, but we will build it with hewen stones: the wilde figge trees are cut downe, but we will change them into ceders.
11 Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu wuxuu ku soo kicin doonaa kuwa Resiin la col ah, oo cadaawayaashiisana wuu isku soo wada ururin doonaa dhammaantood,
Neuerthelesse the Lord will raise vp the aduersaries of Rezin against him, and ioyne his enemies together.
12 wuxuu reer Suuriya ka soo kicin doonaa xagga bari, reer Falastiinna xagga galbeed, oo waxay dadka Israa'iil ku cuni doonaan af furan. Hase ahaatee cadhadiisa kama uu sii jeedin, laakiinse gacantiisii weli way fidsan tahay.
Aram before and the Philistims behinde, and they shall deuoure Israel with open mouth: yet for all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
13 Laakiinse dadku uma ay soo noqon kii iyaga wax ku dhuftay, mana ay doondoonin Rabbiga ciidammada.
For the people turneth not vnto him that smiteth them, neither doe they seeke the Lord of hostes.
14 Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed Rabbigu maalin keliya ayuu dadka Israa'iil ka jari doonaa madaxa iyo dabadaba, iyo laanta iyo cawsduurkaba.
Therefore will the Lord cut off from Israel head and taile, branche and rush in one day.
15 Odayga iyo kan sharafta lahu waa madaxa, oo nebiga dadka beenta baraana waa dabada.
The ancient and the honorable man, he is the head: and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the taile.
16 Waayo, dadkan hoggaamiyayaashoodu way qaldaan, oo kuwa la hoggaamiyaana way wada baabba'aan.
For the leaders of the people cause them to erre: and they that are led by them are deuoured.
17 Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed Sayidku ku farxi maayo barbaarradooda, oo agoontooda iyo carmalladoodana u naxariisan maayo, waayo, midkood kastaaba waa cibaadalaawe iyo xumaanfale, oo af kastaana wuxuu ku hadlaa wax nacasnimo ah. Hase ahaatee cadhadiisa kama uu sii jeedin, laakiinse gacantiisii weli way fidsan tahay.
Therefore shall the Lord haue no pleasure in their yong men, neither will he haue compassion of their fatherlesse and of their widowes: for euery one is an hypocrite and wicked, and euery mouth speaketh follie: yet for all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out stil.
18 Waayo, xumaantu waxay wax u gubtaa sida dabka oo kale, oo waxay dam ka dhigtaa yamaarugga iyo qodxanta, oo jiqda duuddana way ololisaa, oo waxaa kor uga baxa daruur qiiq ah.
For wickednesse burneth as a fire: it deuoureth the briers and the thornes and will kindle in the thicke places of the forest: and they shall mount vp like the lifting vp of smoke.
19 Dhulku wuxuu la gubtay Rabbiga ciidammada cadhadiisa, oo dadkuna waxay yihiin sida wax dabka lagu shido, oo ninna walaalkiis ma caymiyo.
By the wrath of the Lord of hostes shall the land be darkened, and the people shall be as the meate of ye fire: no man shall spare his brother.
20 Xagga gacanta midig ayaa wax laga dhufsan doonaa, waana la sii gaajoon doonaa, xagga gacanta bidixna wax baa lagu cuni doonaa, lamana dhergi doono, oo midkood kastaaba wuxuu cuni doonaa hilibka gacantiisa.
And he shall snatch at the right hand, and be hungrie: and he shall eate on the left hand, and shall not be satisfied: euery one shall eate ye flesh of his owne arme.
21 Reer Manaseh waxay cuni doonaan reer Efrayim, oo reer Efrayimna waxay cuni doonaan reer Manaseh, oo iyana dhammaantood waxay col ku ahaan doonaan reer Yahuudah. Hase ahaatee cadhadiisa kama uu sii jeedin, laakiinse gacantiisii weli way fidsan tahay.
Manasseh, Ephraim: and Ephraim Manasseh, and they both shall be against Iudah yet for all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
