< Ishacyaah 47 >
1 Gabadha bikradda ah ee Baabuloon ahay, soo deg, oo ciidda ku fadhiiso, magaalada reer Kaldayiinay, carshila'aan dhulka ku fadhiiso, waayo, mar dambe adiga laguuguma yeedhi doono mid dhaylo ah oo jilcisan.
Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground, there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for men shall nevermore call thee, Tender and delicate.
2 Dhagaxshiidyada qaad oo wax shiid, masarka madaxa ka qaad, oo lugaha qaawi, tan iyo bowdada tafaxaydo, oo webiyaasha ka gudub.
Take the mill, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, lift up the train, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
3 Cawradaada waa la qaawin doonaa, ceebtaadana waa la arki doonaa. Waan aarsan doonaa, oo ninna uma tudhi doono.
Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not regard any man.
4 Bixiyahayaga magiciisa waxaa la yidhaahdaa Rabbiga ciidammada oo ah Kan Quduuska ah ee reer binu Israa'iil.
Our redeemer—the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
5 Magaalada reer Kaldayiinay, shib dheh oo fadhiiso, meel gudcur ah gal, waayo, mar dambe laguuguma yeedhi doono sayidaddii boqortooyooyinka.
Sit thou silent, and enter into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; for men shall never more call thee, The mistress of kingdoms.
6 Waxaan u cadhooday dadkaygii, oo dhaxalkaygii nijaas baan ka dhigay, oo adigaan gacanta kuu geliyey. Innaba iyagii uma aadan naxariisan, oo dadka gaboobay ayaad harqoodkaagii wax culus kaga dhigtay.
I was wroth over my people, I defiled my inheritance, and gave them into thy hand: [yet] thou didst grant them no mercy; upon the aged hast thou laid very heavily thy yoke.
7 Waxaad istidhi, Anigu weligayba waxaan ahaan doonaa sayidad, oo waxyaalahanna qalbiga ma aad gelin, oo ugudambaystoodiina sooma aadan xusuusan.
And thou saidst, For ever shall I be mistress; until that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, thou didst not call to mind the result thereof.
8 Haddaba bal waxyaalahan maqal, taada iska raaxaysata oo istareexa ku joogtoy. Waxaad qalbiga iska tidhaahdaa, Anigaa ah oo aniga mooyaane cid kale ma jirto, anigu innaba carmal ma noqon doono, oo ma gablami doono.
And now hear this, luxurious one, that dwellest in security, that sayest in thy heart, I am, and there is nothing else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
9 Laakiinse labadan waxyaalood isku maalin qudha ayay isku daqiiqad kuu iman doonaan, waana gablannimo iyo carmalnimo. Aad iyo aad bay kuugu soo degi doonaan in kastoo aad saaxirnimo badan iyo falfal tiro badan badisay.
Yet both these things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood; in their full measure shall they come upon thee, despite of the multitude of thy sorceries, despite of the very great abundance of thy enchantments.
10 Waayo, waxaad isku hallaysay sharnimadaada, oo waxaad istidhi, Ninna ima arko. Waxaa ku qalday xigmaddaada iyo aqoontaada, oo waxaad qalbiga iska tidhi, Anigaa ah, oo aniga mooyaane cid kale ma jirto.
And thou didst trust in thy wickedness: thou saidst, No one seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, —these were they that seduced thee; and thou saidst in thy heart, I am, and there is nothing else beside me.
11 Haddaba sidaas daraaddeed masiibo baa kugu soo degi doonta, mana aad garan doontid si ay kuugu iman doonto, belaayaa kugu dhici doonta, oo mana aad kari doontid inaad iska fogaysid, oo baabbi'id baa si kedis ah kuugu soo degi doonta, taasoo aadan aqoon.
And there shall come upon thee an evil, which thou shalt not know how to remove it by prayer; and there shall fall upon thee mischief, which thou shalt not be able to atone for; and there shall come upon thee suddenly desolation, which thou shalt not know.
12 Haddaad ku faa'iidi karaysid iyo haddaad ku adkaan karaysid, bal haatan la soo istaag falfalkaaga iyo saaxirnimadaada faraha badan oo aad tan iyo yaraantaadii ku soo hawshoonaysay.
Stand now with thy enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast labored from thy youth; peradventure thou mayest be able to profit, peradventure thou mayest withstand.
13 Waxaad ku daashay talooyinkaagii tirada badnaa, haddaba xiddigayaqaannada, iyo xiddigasheegyada, iyo xilliyasheegyaduba ha sara joogsadeen, oo ha kaa badbaadiyeen waxyaalaha kugu soo degi doona.
Thou art wearied with the multitude of thy counsels. Do let now those that divide off the heavens, that look at the stars, that announce [coming] events at new moons, stand up, and save thee from the things that are to come over thee.
14 Bal eeg, iyagu waxay noqon doonaan sida xaab oo kale, oo dabka ayaa wada gubi doona, oo iyana xoogga ololka iskama ay samatabbixin doonaan, oo dabkaasuna ma ahaan doono dhuxul la kulaalo, amase dab la hor fadhiisto.
Behold, they are become as stubble; the fire burneth them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: not a coal shall be left to warm at, no blaze to sit before it.
15 Saasay kuu noqon doonaan waxyaalihii aad ku hawshootay, oo kuwii aad macaamilada la lahayd tan iyo yaraantaadii midkood kastaaba meeshiisuu tegi doonaa, oo mid ku badbaadiyana ma jiri doono.
Thus are they become unto thee with whom thou hast labored; those that had commerce with thee from thy youth, wander away every one on his road: there is no one to save thee.
