Ishacyaah 42
1 Bal eega addoonkayga aan tiiriyo, oo aan doortay oo ay naftaydu ku faraxsan tahay. Ruuxayga ayaan dul saaray. Wuxuu quruumaha u soo saari doonaa xukunka.
See my servant, whom I am supporting, my loved one, in whom I take delight: I have put my spirit on him; he will give the knowledge of the true God to the nations.
2 Ma uu qaylin doono, korna uma dhawaaqi doono, oo codkiisana kama uu dhigi doono in jidadka laga maqlo.
He will make no cry, his voice will not be loud: his words will not come to men's ears in the streets.
3 Cawsduur nabar leh ma jebin doono, dubaalad qiiqaysana ma demin doono, xukunkuu runta ku soo saari doonaa.
He will not let a crushed stem be quite broken, and he will not let a feebly burning light be put out: he will go on sending out the true word to the peoples.
4 Isagu ma uu taag darnaan doono, mana uu qalbi jabi doono, jeeruu caddaalad dhulka ku hagaajiyo, oo gasiiraduhuna waxay sugi doonaan sharcigiisa.
His light will not be put out, and he will not be crushed, till he has given the knowledge of the true God to the earth, and the sea-lands will be waiting for his teaching.
5 Saas waxaa leh Ilaaha Rabbiga ah oo samooyinka uumay oo kala bixiyey, kan dhulka iyo waxa ka soo baxaba kala fidiyey, kan dadka jooga neefta siiya, oo kuwa dhulka ku socdana ruuxa siiya.
God the Lord, even he who made the heavens, measuring them out on high; stretching out the earth, and giving its produce; he who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who go about on it, says:
6 Aniga Rabbiga ah ayaa xaqnimo kuugu yeedhay, oo gacantaan kugu hayn doonaa, oo waan ku dhawri doonaa, oo dadyowga ayaan axdi ahaan kuu siin doonaa, oo iftiin ahaan baan quruumaha kuu siin doonaa,
I the Lord have made you the vessel of my purpose, I have taken you by the hand, and kept you safe, and I have given you to be an agreement to the people, and a light to the nations:
7 inaad kuwa indhaha la' indhaha u furtid, iyo inaad maxaabiista xabsiga ka soo bixisid, iyo inaad kuwa gudcurka fadhiya ka soo bixisid guriga xabsiga.
To give eyes to the blind, to make free the prisoners from the prison, to let out those who are shut up in the dark.
8 Anigu waxaan ahay Rabbiga, kaasuna waa magacayga, oo sharaftaydana mid kale ma siin doono, oo ammaantaydana sanamyo xardhan innaba ma siin doono.
I am the Lord; that is my name: I will not give my glory to another, or my praise to pictured images.
9 Bal eega, waxyaalihii hore way wada noqdeen, oo hadda waxaan idiin sheegayaa waxyaalo cusub, oo intayan iman ayaan idiin sii sheegayaa.
See, the things said before have come about, and now I give word of new things: before they come I give you news of them.
10 Kuwiinna badda ku sii dhaadhacayow, iyo waxa dhexdeeda ku jira oo dhammow, gasiiradaha iyo kuwa degganow, Rabbiga hees cusub ugu heesa, oo ammaantiisana dhulka darafkiisa ka qaada.
Make a new song to the Lord, and let his praise be sounded from the end of the earth; you who go down to the sea, and everything in it, the sea-lands and their people.
11 Cidlada iyo magaalooyinkeeda iyo tuulooyinka ay reer Qedaar deggan yihiinba, codkooda kor ha u qaadeen, kuwa Selac degganu ha heeseen, oo buuraha dushooda ha ka qayliyeen.
Let the waste land and its flocks be glad, the tent-circles of Kedar; let the people of the rock give a glad cry, from the top of the mountains let them make a sound of joy.
12 Rabbiga ha sharfeen, oo ammaantiisana gasiiradaha ha ka naadiyeen.
Let them give glory to the Lord, sounding his praise in the sea-lands.
13 Rabbigu wuxuu u soo bixi doonaa sida nin xoog badan, oo qiirona wuxuu u soo kicin doonaa sida nin dagaalyahan ah. Wuu qaylin doonaa, oo aad buu u dhawaaqi doonaa, oo xoog buuna cadowyadiisa kaga adkaan doonaa.
The Lord will go out as a man of war, he will be moved to wrath like a fighting-man: his voice will be strong, he will give a loud cry; he will go against his attackers like a man of war.
14 Wakhti dheer baan iska aamusnaa oo aan xasilloonaa oo aan iscelinayay, oo haatan waxaan u qaylin doonaa sida naag foolanaysa oo kale, waan hinraagi doonaa, waanan taahi doonaa.
I have long been quiet, I have kept myself in and done nothing: now I will make sounds of pain like a woman in childbirth, breathing hard and quickly.
15 Waxaan baabbi'in doonaa buuro iyo kuro, oo geedaha yaryar oo dhanna waan wada qallajin doonaa, oo durdurradana waxaan ka dhigi doonaa gasiirado, oo balliyadana waan engejin doonaa.
I will make waste mountains and hills, drying up all their plants; and I will make rivers dry, and pools dry land.
16 Oo kuwa indhaha la'na waxaan soo marsiin doonaa jid ayan mar hore aqoon, oo waxaan ku hagi doonaa dhabbayaal ayan aqoon, oo gudcurkana waxaan hortooda kaga dhigi doonaa iftiin, oo meelaha qalloocanna waan u toosin doonaa. Waxyaalahaas baan samayn doonaa, oo innaba iyaga ma dayrin doono.
And I will take the blind by a way of which they had no knowledge, guiding them by roads strange to them: I will make the dark places light before them, and the rough places level. These things will I do and will not give them up.
17 Kuwa sanamyada xardhan isku halleeya, oo sanamyada la shubay ku yidhaahda, Idinku ilaahyadayada baad tihiin, dib baa loo sii jeedin doonaa, oo aad loo ceebayn doonaa.
They will be turned back and be greatly shamed who put their hope in pictured images, who say to metal images, You are our gods.
18 Kuwiinna dhegaha la'ow, wax maqla, oo kuwiinna indhaha la'ow, wax fiiriya, aad wax aragteene.
Give ear, you whose ears are shut; and let your eyes be open, you blind, so that you may see.
19 Bal yaa indha la' addoonkayga mooyaane? Yaase dhega la' sida wargeeyahayga aan soo diray? Yaase indha la' sida kan ila nabdoon, iyo sida addoonka Rabbiga?
Who is blind, but my servant? who has his ears stopped, but he whom I send? who is blind as my true one, or who has his ears shut like the Lord's servant?
20 Waxyaalo badan baad aragtaa, laakiinse uma fiirsatid, dhegaha waa la furay, laakiinse waxba lama maqlo.
Seeing much, but keeping nothing in mind; his ears are open, but there is no hearing.
21 Rabbigu wuxuu aad ugu farxay xaqnimadiisa aawadeed inuu sharciga weyneeyo oo aad u sharfo.
It was the Lord's pleasure, because of his righteousness, to make the teaching great and give it honour.
22 Laakiinse kuwanu waa dad la dhacay oo la boobay, oo kulligoodna waxaa lagu dabay godad, oo waxaa lagu qariyey guryo xabbiseed, iyagu waa wax la ugaadhsado, oo ninna ma samatabbixiyo, waa wax la boobo oo ciduna ma tidhaahdo, soo celiya.
But this is a people whose property has been taken away from them by force; they are all taken in holes, and shut up in prisons: they are made prisoners, and no one makes them free; they are taken by force and no one says, Give them back.
23 Bal yaa idinka mid ah oo waxan dhegta u dhigi doona? Bal yaa dib dambe u dhegaysan oo maqli doona?
Who is there among you who will give ear to this? who will give attention to it for the time to come?
24 Bal yaa reer Yacquub ka dhigay in la boobo, yaase reer binu Israa'iil tuugagga u gacangeliyey? Sow ma aha Rabbiga, kan aynu ku dembaabnay oo ay diideen inay jidadkiisa ku socdaan, oo ay sharcigiisana addeeci waayeen?
Who gave up Jacob to those who took away his goods, and Israel to his attackers? Did not the Lord? he against whom they did wrong, and in whose ways they would not go, turning away from his teaching.
25 Sidaas daraaddeed wuxuu dadka ku sii daayay cadhadiisii aad u kululayd, iyo xooggii dagaalka, oo hareerahooda oo dhanna dab baa lagu shiday, laakiinse way garan waayeen, waana la gubay, illowse innaba qalbiga ma gelin.
For this reason he let loose on him the heat of his wrath, and his strength was like a flame; and it put fire round about him, but he did not see it; he was burned, but did not take it to heart.
