1 Kanu waa buuggii farcankii Aadan. Maalintii Ilaah ninkii abuuray, ekaanta Ilaah buu ka sameeyey isagii;
This is the booke of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created Adam, in the likenes of God made he him,
2 wuxuu abuuray iyagoo lab iyo dhaddig ah; wuuna barakeeyey iyagii, magacoodiina wuxuu u bixiyey Aadan maalintii iyagii la abuuray.
Male and female created he them, and blessed them, and called their name Adam in the day that they were created.

Nowe Adam liued an hundred and thirtie yeeres, and begate a childe in his owne likenes after his image, and called his name Sheth.
4 Aadanna markuu Seed dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol oo sannadood; wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And the dayes of Adam, after he had begotten Sheth, were eight hundreth yeeres, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
5 Wakhtigii Aadan noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo soddon sannadood; dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes that Adam liued, were nine hundreth and thirtie yeeres: and he died.
6 Seedna wuxuu jiray boqol iyo shan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Enoos.
And Sheth liued an hundreth and fiue yeeres, and begate Enosh.
7 Seedna markuu Enoos dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol iyo toddoba sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Sheth liued, after he begate Enosh, eight hundreth and seuen yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
8 Wakhtigii Seed noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo laba iyo toban sannadood; dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes of Sheth were nine hundreth and twelue yeeres: and he died.
9 Enoosna wuxuu jiray sagaashan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Qaynaan.
Also Enosh liued ninetie yeeres, and begate Kenan.
10 Enoosna markuu Qaynaan dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol iyo shan iyo toban sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Enosh liued, after he begate Kenan, eight hundreth and fifteene yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
11 Wakhtigii Enoos noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo shan sannadood; dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes of Enosh were nine hundreth and fiue yeeres: and he died
12 Qaynaanna wuxuu jiray toddobaatan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Mahalale'el.
Likewise Kenan liued seuentie yeeres, and begate Mahalaleel.
13 Qaynaanna markuu Mahalale'el dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol iyo afartan sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Kenan liued, after he begate Mahalaleel, eight hundreth and fourtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
14 Wakhtigii Qaynaan noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo toban sannadood, dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes of Kenan were nine hundreth and tenne yeeres: and he died.
15 Mahalale'elna wuxuu jiray shan iyo lixdan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Yaared.
Mahalaleel also liued sixtie and fiue yeres, and begate Iered.
16 Mahalale'elna markuu Yaared dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol iyo soddon sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
Also Mahalaleel liued, after he begate Iered, eight hundreth and thirtie yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
17 Wakhtigii Mahalale'el noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa siddeed boqol iyo shan iyo sagaashan sannadood, dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes of Mahalaleel were eight hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres: and he died.
18 Yaaredna wuxuu jiray boqol iyo laba iyo lixdan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Enoog.
And Iered liued an hundreth sixtie and two yeeres, and begate Henoch.
19 Yaaredna markuu Enoog dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa siddeed boqol oo sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
Then Iered liued, after he begate Henoch, eight hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
20 Wakhtigii Yaared noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo laba iyo lixdan sannadood; wuuna dhintay.
So all the dayes of Iered were nine hundreth sixtie and two yeeres: and he died.
21 Enoogna wuxuu jiray shan iyo lixdan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Metushelax.
Also Henoch liued sixtie and fiue yeeres, and begate Methushelah.
22 Enoogna wuxuu la socday Ilaah saddex boqol oo sannadood markuu Metushelax dhalay ka dib, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Henoch walked with God, after he begate Methushelah, three hundreth yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
23 Wakhtigii Enoog jiray oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa saddex boqol iyo shan iyo lixdan sannadood.
So all the dayes of Henoch were three hundreth sixtie and fiue yeeres.
24 Enoogna Ilaah buu la socday; waana la waayay; maxaa yeelay, Ilaah baa qaatay isagii.
And Henoch walked with God, and he was no more seene: for God tooke him away.
25 Metushelaxna wuxuu jiray boqol iyo toddoba iyo siddeetan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Lameg.
Methushelah also liued an hundreth eightie and seuen yeeres, and begate Lamech.
26 Metushelaxna wuxuu noolaa markuu Lameg dhalay ka dib toddoba boqol iyo laba iyo siddeetan sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Methushelah liued, after he begate Lamech, seuen hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
27 Wakhtigii Metushelax noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa sagaal boqol iyo sagaal iyo lixdan sannadood; dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So al the dayes of Methushelah were nine hundreth sixtie and nine yeeres: and he died.
28 Lamegna wuxuu jiray boqol iyo laba iyo siddeetan sannadood; wuxuuna dhalay wiil:
Then Lamech liued an hundreth eightie and two yeeres, and begate a sonne,
29 magiciisiina wuxuu u bixiyey Nuux, isagoo leh, Kanu waa inooga raaxayn doonaa shuqulkeenna iyo hawsha gacmaheenna, xagga dhulka Ilaah habaaray.
And called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort vs concerning our worke and sorowe of our hands, as touching the earth, which the Lord hath cursed.
30 Lamegna markuu Nuux dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa shan boqol iyo shan iyo sagaashan sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And Lamech liued, after he begate Noah, fiue hundreth ninetie and fiue yeeres, and begate sonnes and daughters.
31 Wakhtigii Lameg noolaa oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa toddoba boqol iyo toddoba iyo toddobaatan sannadood; dabadeedna wuu dhintay.
So all the dayes of Lamech were seuen hundreth seuentie and seuen yeeres: and he died.
32 Nuuxna wuxuu jiray shan boqol oo sannadood; wuxuuna dhalay Sheem, iyo Xaam, iyo Yaafed.
And Noah was fiue hundreth yeere olde. And Noah begate Shem, Ham and Iapheth.
