1 Dhulka oo dhammuna wuxuu ahaa isku af iyo isku hadal keliya.
And it was all the earth language one and words one.
2 Waxaana dhacday markay xagga bari u sii socdaaleen inay waddankii Shincaar meel bannaan ka heleen; oo halkaas ayay degeen.
And it was when set out they from [the] east and they found a plain in [the] land of Shinar and they dwelt there.
3 Oo waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Ina keena, aynu leben samaysannee, oo aynu aad u dubnee. Oo waxay dhagaxa meeshiisa u haysteen leben, nuuradda meesheedana dhoobo.
And they said each to neighbor his give! let us make bricks bricks and let us burn [them] to burning and became for them brick to stone and bitumen became for them to mortar.
4 Oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Ina keena, aynu magaalo dhisannee, iyo munaarad dhaladeedu samada gaadho, oo aynu magac yeelannee, waaba intaasoo aynu dhulka dushiisa oo dhan ku kala firidhnaaye.
And they said give! - let us build for ourselves a city and a tower and top its [will be] in the heavens and we may make for ourselves a name lest we should be scattered over [the] surface of all the earth.
5 Rabbiguna wuxuu u soo degay inuu arko magaaladii iyo munaaraddii ay binu-aadmigu dhisayeen.
And he came down Yahweh to see the city and the tower which they had built [the] children of humankind.
6 Oo Rabbigu wuxuu yidhi, Bal eega, iyagu waa isku dad keliya, oo dhammaan isku af keliya bay leeyihiin, oo waxanuna waa waxa ay bilaabayaan inay sameeyaan, oo haatan wax ka hor joogsan doona waxay damcaan inay sameeyaan ma jiraane.
And he said Yahweh here! a people one and a language one [belongs] to all of them and this [is] beginning they to do and now not it will be withheld from them all that they will plan to do.
7 Ina keena, aynu degnee, oo halkaas aynu afkooda iskaga qasnee, yaan midna midka kale hadalkiisa garanine.
Give! let us go down and let us confuse there language their that not they will hear each [the] language of neighbor his.
8 Kolkaasaa Rabbigu halkaas ka kaxeeyey oo ku kala firdhiyey dhulka dushiisa oo dhan, oo dhisiddii magaaladii way joojiyeen.
And he scattered Yahweh them from there over [the] surface of all the earth and they ceased to build the city.
9 Sidaas daraaddeed magaceedii waxaa loo bixiyey Baabel, maxaa yeelay, halkaasaa Rabbigu afkii dhulka oo dhan iskaga qasay; oo halkaasuu Rabbigu ka kaxeeyey iyagii oo ku kala firdhiyey dhulka dushiisa oo dhan.
There-fore someone called name its Babel for there he confused Yahweh [the] language of all the earth and from there he scattered them Yahweh over [the] surface of all the earth.
10 Kuwanu waa farcankii Sheem. Sheem wuxuu jiray boqol sannadood, oo laba sannadood oo daadkii ka dambaysay wuxuu dhalay Arfaksad.
These [are] [the] accounts of Shem Shem [was] a son of one hundred year[s] and he fathered Arphaxad two years after the flood.
11 Sheemna markuu Arfaksad dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa shan boqol oo sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Shem after fathered he Arphaxad five hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
12 Arfaksadna wuxuu jiray shan iyo soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Salah:
And Arphaxad he lived five and thirty year[s] and he fathered Shelah.
13 Arfaksadna markuu Salah dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa afar boqol iyo saddex sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Arphaxad after fathered he Shelah three years and four hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
14 Salahna wuxuu jiray soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Ceeber.
And Shelah he lived thirty year[s] and he fathered Eber.
15 Salahna markuu Ceeber dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa afar boqol iyo saddex sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Shelah after fathered he Eber three years and four hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
16 Ceeberna wuxuu jiray afar iyo soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Feleg:
And he lived Eber four and thirty year[s] and he fathered Peleg.
17 Ceeberna markuu Feleg dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa afar boqol iyo soddon sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Eber after fathered he Peleg thirty year[s] and four hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
18 Felegna wuxuu jiray soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Recu:
And he lived Peleg thirty year[s] and he fathered Reu.
19 Felegna markuu Recu dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa laba boqol iyo sagaal sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Peleg after fathered he Reu nine years and two hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
20 Recuna wuxuu jiray laba iyo soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Seruug.
And he lived Reu two and thirty year[s] and he fathered Serug.
21 Recuna markuu Seruug dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa laba boqol iyo toddoba sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Reu after fathered he Serug seven years and two hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
22 Seruugna wuxuu jiray soddon sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Naaxoor:
And he lived Serug thirty year[s] and he fathered Nahor.
23 Seruugna markuu Naaxoor dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa laba boqol oo sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Serug after fathered he Nahor two hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
24 Naaxoorna wuxuu jiray sagaal iyo labaatan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Terax;
And he lived Nahor nine and twenty year[s] and he fathered Terah.
25 Naaxoorna markuu Terax dhalay ka dib wuxuu noolaa boqol iyo sagaal iyo toban sannadood, wiilal iyo gabdhona wuu dhalay.
And he lived Nahor after fathered he Terah nine-teen year[s] and one hundred year[s] and he fathered sons and daughters.
26 Teraxna wuxuu jiray toddobaatan sannadood, wuxuuna dhalay Aabraam, iyo Naaxoor, iyo Haaraan.
And he lived Terah seventy year[s] and he fathered Abram Nahor and Haran.
27 Kuwanu waa farcankii Terax. Terax wuxuu dhalay Aabraam, iyo Naaxoor, iyo Haaraan; Haaraanna wuxuu dhalay Luud.
And these [are] [the] accounts of Terah Terah he fathered Abram Nahor and Haran and Haran he fathered Lot.
28 Haaraanna wuxuu dhintay aabbihiis Terax oo jooga, wuxuuna ku dhintay dhulkii uu ku dhashay, oo la odhan jiray Uur tii reer Kaldayiin.
And he died Haran on [the] face of Terah father his in [the] land of kindred his in Ur of [the] Chaldeans.
29 Aabraam iyo Naaxoorna way guursadeen: Aabraam naagtiisii waxaa la odhan jiray Saaray; naagtii Naaxoorna waxaa la odhan jiray Milkah, waxayna ahayd gabadhii Haaraan, aabbihii Milkah iyo Iskah.
And he took Abram and Nahor for themselves wives [the] name of [the] wife of Abram [was] Sarai and [the] name of [the] wife of Nahor [was] Milcah [the] daughter of Haran [the] father of Milcah and [the] father of Iscah.
30 Saarayna waxay ahayd madhalays; ilmona ma ay lahayn.
And she was Sarai barren not [belonged] to her a child.
31 Teraxna wuxuu kaxaystay wiilkiisii Aabraam, iyo Luud oo ahaa ina Haaraan, wiilkii wiilkiisii, iyo Saaray oo uu soddog u ahaa, oo ahayd naagtii wiilkiisii Aabraam; wayna kala baxeen Uur tii reer Kaldayiin, si ay u tagaan dalkii Kancaan; waxayna yimaadeen Haaraan, oo halkaasay degeen.
And he took Terah Abram son his and Lot [the] son of Haran [the] son of son his and Sarai daughter-in-law his [the] wife of Abram son his and they went out with them from Ur of [the] Chaldeans to go [the] land of towards Canaan and they came to Haran and they dwelt there.
32 Wakhtigii Terax noolaa wuxuu ahaa laba boqol iyo shan sannadood, Teraxna wuxuu ku dhintay Haaraan.
And they were [the] days of Terah five years and two hundred year[s] and he died Terah in Haran.
