< Galatiya 2 >
1 Afar iyo toban sannadood dabadeed ayaan mar kale Yeruusaalem aaday, Barnabasna wuu ila jiray, oo Tiitosna waan kaxaystay.
Fourteen years afterwards I went up to Jerusalem again with Barnabas, and I took Titus also with me.
2 Sidii la iigu muujiyey ayaan u tegey, oo waxaan iyaga hor dhigay injiilka aan dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn ku wacdiyo, laakiinse waxaan gooni ahaan u tusay kuwii sharafta lahaa, si aanan u ahaan mid waxtarla'aan iska ordaya ama hore u orday.
It was in obedience to a revelation that I went; and I laid before the apostles the good news that I am proclaiming among the Gentiles. I did this privately before those who are thought highly of because I was afraid that I might possibly be taking, or might have already taken, a course which would prove useless.
3 Laakiin xataa Tiitos oo ila socday, isagoo Gariig ah, laguma qasbin in la gudo
Yet even my companion, Titus, though a Greek, was not compelled to be circumcised.
4 walaalaha beenta ah oo qarsoodiga lanoogu soo geliyey daraaddood, kuwa noogu soo galay inay basaasaan xorriyaddeenna aynu Ciise Masiix ku haysanno, inay na addoonsadaan.
But, because of those who pretended to be followers who had stolen in, the intruders who had crept in to spy on the liberty which we have through union with Christ Jesus, in order to bring us back to slavery –
5 In runta injiilku idinla sii jirto, taas daraaddeed ayaannan saacad qudha u hoos gelin iyaga.
Why, we did not for a moment yield submission to them, so that the truth of the good news might be yours always!
6 Laakiinse kuwii loo maleeyey inay sharaf leeyihiin (wax kastoo ay ahaayeen, waxba igama gelin; waayo, Ilaah dadka wejigiisa uma kala eexdo) waxaan leeyahay, Kuwii sharafta lahaa waxba iguma ay darin.
Of those who are thought somewhat highly of – what they once were makes no difference to me; God does not recognise human distinctions – those, I say, who are thought highly of added nothing to my message.
7 Laakiinse kolkay arkeen in laygu ammaaneeyey injiilka kuwa buuryoqabka ah, xataa sidii Butros loogu ammaaneeyey injiilka kuwa gudan,
On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the good news for the Gentiles, just as Peter had been for the Jews.
8 waayo, kii Butros kaga dhex shaqeeyey sii uu rasuul ugu ahaado kuwa gudan ayaa anna igaga dhex shaqeeyey sii aan dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn rasuul ugu ahaado,
For he who gave Peter power for his mission to the Jews gave me, also, power to go to the Gentiles.
9 oo kolkay ogaadeen nimcada lay siiyey, Yacquub iyo Keeyfas iyo Yooxanaa, iyagoo loo sharfay sida tiirar, waxay aniga iyo Barnabas na siiyeen gacanta midigta oo wehelnimada, inaannu annagu u tagno dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn, iyaguna ay u tagaan kuwa gudan.
Recognising the charge entrusted to me, James, Peter, and John, who were regarded as pillars of the church, openly acknowledged Barnabas and me as fellow workers, agreeing that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews.
10 Waxay keliyahoo doonayeen inaannu masaakiinta xusuusanno, taas oo aan ku dadaalayay inaan sameeyo.
Only we were to remember the poor – the thing I was myself anxious to do.
11 Laakiinse Keeyfas kolkuu Antiyokh yimid, waan hor joogsaday, maxaa yeelay, wuu eedaysnaa.
But, when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face; for he stood self-condemned.
12 Maxaa yeelay, intaan qaar Yacquub ka iman, Keeyfas wuxuu wax la cuni jiray dad aan Yuhuud ahayn, laakiinse markay yimaadeen, wuu ka soo noqday oo ka soocmay, isagoo kuwa gudan ka cabsanaya.
Before certain persons came from James, he had been in the habit of eating with the Gentile converts; but, when they came, he began to withdraw and hold aloof, because he was afraid of offending those who still held to circumcision.
13 Yuhuudda inteedii kalena sidaas oo kalay labawejiilayaal la ahaayeen isaga, sidaas daraaddeed labawejiilenimadoodii waxay la tagtay xataa Barnabas.
The rest of the Jewish converts were guilty of the same hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led away by it.
14 Kolkaan arkay inayan si hagaagsan ugu soconayn runta injiilka, ayaan kulli hortooda Keeyfas ku idhi, Adigoo Yuhuudi ah haddaad u dhaqanto sida dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn, oo aadan ahaan sida Yuhuudda, sidee baad ugu qasbaysaa dadka aan Yuhuudda ahayn inay u dhaqmaan sida Yuhuudda?
But, when I saw that they were not dealing straightforwardly with the truth of the good news, I said to Peter, before them all, ‘If you, who were born a Jew, adopt Gentile customs, instead of Jewish, why are you trying to compel the Gentile converts to adopt Jewish customs?’
15 Innagoo jinsigeennu Yuhuud yahay, oo aan ahayn dembilayaal aan Yuhuud ahayn,
We, though we are Jews by birth and not sinners of Gentile origin, know that no one is pronounced righteous as the result of obedience to Law, but only through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 ayaynu weliba garanaynaa inaan nin xaq ku noqon shuqullada sharciga, rumaysadka uu Ciise Masiix ku rumaystay mooyaane, xataa innagu waan rumaysannay Ciise Masiix inaynu xaq ku noqonno rumaysadka Masiix ee ayan ahayn shuqullada sharciga, maxaa yeelay, shuqullada sharciga ninna xaq kuma noqon doono.
So we placed our faith in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be pronounced righteous, as the result of faith in Christ, and not of obedience to Law; for such obedience will not result in even one soul’s being pronounced righteous.
17 Laakiinse markaynu doonaynay inaynu Masiix xaq ku noqonno, haddii la helo inaynu qudheennu dembilayaal nahay, Masiix miyuu yahay midiidinka dembiga? Ma suurtowdo!
If, while seeking to be pronounced righteous through union with Christ, we were ourselves seen to be sinners, would that make Christ an agent of sin? Heaven forbid!
18 Waayo, haddaan mar kale dhiso waxyaalihii aan dumiyey, waxaan isku caddaynayaa inaan ahay mid xad gudbay.
For, if I rebuild the things that I pulled down, I prove myself to have done wrong.
19 Anigu sharcigaan ugu dhintay xagga sharciga inaan Ilaah u noolaado.
I, indeed, through Law became dead to Law, in order to live for God.
20 Waxaa iskutallaabta laygula qodbay Masiixa, laakiin weli waan noolahay. Aniga ma aha kan nooli, laakiin Masiix ayaa igu dhex nool, oo nolosha aan haatan jidhka ku dhex noolahay waxaan ku noolahay rumaysadka xagga Wiilka Ilaah, kan i jeclaaday oo naftiisa u bixiyey daraadday.
I have been crucified with Christ. So it is no longer I that live, but it is Christ who lives in me; and, as for my present earthly life, I am living it by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
21 Nimcada Ilaah burin maayo, waayo, haddii xaqnimo sharciga laga helo, Masiix micnela'aan buu u dhintay.
I do not reject the love of God. If righteousness comes through Law, then there was no need for Christ to die!
