1 Haddaba waxyaalahaas dabadeed intii Artaxshasta oo boqorkii Faaris ahaa dowladnimada haystay ayaa Baabuloon waxaa ka soo kacay Cesraa ina Seraayaah, oo ahaa ina Casaryaah, ina Xilqiyaah,
Now after these things, in the reigne of Artahshashte King of Persia, was Ezra the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
2 ina Shalluum, ina Saadooq, ina Axiituub,
The sonne of Shallum, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Ahitub,
3 ina Amaryaah, ina Casaryaah, ina Meraayood,
The sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Meraioth,
4 ina Seraxyaah, ina Cusii, ina Buqii,
The sonne of Zeraiah, the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Bukki,
5 ina Abiishuuca, ina Fiinexaas, ina Elecaasaar, ina Haaruun kii ahaa wadaadka sare;
The sonne of Abishua, the sonne of Phinehas, the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron, the chiefe Priest.
6 oo Cesraahan ayaa ka tegey Baabuloon, oo wuxuu ahaa karraani aad u yaqaan sharcigii Muuse uu Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil siiyey; oo boqorkuna wuxuu siiyey wixii uu weyddiistay oo dhan sidii ay gacantii Rabbiga Ilaahiis ahu u saarnayd.
This Ezra came vp from Babel, and was a Scribe prompt in the Lawe of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had giuen, and the King gaue him all his request according to the hande of the Lord his God which was vpon him.
7 Oo sannaddii toddobaad oo dowladnimadii Boqor Artaxshasta waxaa Yeruusaalem tegey qaar ah reer binu Israa'iil, iyo wadaaddada, iyo reer Laawi, iyo nimankii gabayaaga ahaa, iyo irid-dhawryadii, iyo reer Netiiniim.
And there went vp certaine of the children of Israel, and of the Priests, and the Leuites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims vnto Ierusalem, in the seuenth yere of King Artahshashte.
8 Oo wuxuu Yeruusaalem yimid boqorka sannaddiisii toddobaad, bisheedii shanaad.
And hee came to Ierusalem in the fift moneth, which was in the seuenth yeere of the King.
9 Baabuloon ayuu ka soo baxay bishii kowaad maalinteedii kowaad, oo wuxuu Yeruusaalem yimid bishii shanaad maalinteedii kowaad, sidii ay gacantii Ilaahiisa oo wanaagsanayd u saarnayd.
For vpon the first day of the first moneth began he to goe vp from Babel, and on the first day of the fift moneth came he to Ierusalem, according to the good hande of his God that was vpon him.
10 Waayo, Cesraa wuxuu qalbigiisa u diyaariyey inuu doondoono oo sameeyo Rabbiga sharcigiisa iyo inuu reer binu Israa'iil baro qaynuunno iyo xukummo.
For Ezra had prepared his heart to seeke the Lawe of the Lord, and to doe it, and to teach the precepts and iudgements in Israel.
11 Haddaba kanu waa naqilkii warqaddii uu Boqor Artaxshasta siiyey Cesraa oo ahaa wadaadkii iyo karraanigii kaasoo ahaa karraanigii erayadii amarrada Rabbiga iyo qaynuunnadiisii uu reer binu Israa'iil siiyey.
And this is the copie of the letter that King Artahshashte gaue vnto Ezra the Priest and scribe, euen a writer of the words of the commadements of ye Lord, and of his statutes ouer Israel.
12 Anigoo ah Artaxshasta boqorkii boqorrada, waxaan u qorayaa wadaadkii Cesraa oo ah karraanigii sharciga Ilaaha samada ee kaamil ah, iyo wax la mid ah. Salaan
ARTAHSHASHTE King of Kings to Ezra the Priest and perfite scribe of the Lawe of the God of heauen, and to Cheeneth.
13 Waxaan amar ku bixinayaa in dadka reer binu Israa'iil, iyo wadaaddadooda, iyo reer Laawi, inta boqortooyadayda ku jirta, ee ikhtiyaarkooda u doonaya inay Yeruusaalem tagaan, ay dhammaan ku raacaan.
I haue giuen commandement, that euery one, that is willing in my kingdome of the people of Israel, and of the Priestes, and Leuites to goe to Ierusalem with thee, shall goe.
14 Waxaa ku soo diray boqorkii iyo toddobadiisii lataliye inaad soo warsatid Yahuudah iyo Yeruusaalem, sida waafaqsan sharciga Ilaahaaga oo gacantaada ku jira,
Therefore art thou sent of the King and his seuen counsellers, to enquire in Iudah and Ierusalem, according to the lawe of thy God, which is in thine hand,
15 iyo inaad qaaddid lacagta iyo dahabka ay boqorka iyo lataliyayaashiisu ikhtiyaarkooda ugu bixiyeen Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil oo rugtiisu tahay Yeruusaalem,
And to carry the siluer and the gold, which the King and his cousellers willingly offer vnto the God of Israel (whose habitation is in Ierusalem)
16 iyo kulli lacagta iyo dahabka aad ka heli doonto gobolka Baabuloon oo dhan, iyo qurbaanka dadku ikhtiyaarka u bixiyo, iyo kan wadaaddadu ay ikhtiyaarkooda ugu bixiyaan guriga Ilaahooda oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal aawadiis,
And all the siluer and gold that thou canst finde in all the prouince of Babel, with the free offring of the people, and that which the Priestes offer willingly to the house of their God which is in Ierusalem,
17 haddaba sidaas daraaddeed waa inaad aad ugu dadaashaa inaad lacagtan ku iibiso dibi, iyo wanan, iyo baraar, iyo qurbaannadooda hadhuudhka ah, iyo qurbaannadooda cabniinka ah, oo aad ku dul bixisaa meesha allabariga ee guriga Ilaahaaga oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal.
That thou mayest bye speedily with this siluer, bullocks, rammes, lambes, with their meate offrings and their drinke offrings: and thou shalt offer them vpon the altar of the house of your God, which is in Ierusalem.
18 Oo lacagta iyo dahabka intooda kale ku sameeya wax alla wixii adiga iyo walaalahaa idinla wanaagsan oo sida Ilaahiin doonayo ah.
And whatsoeuer it pleaseth thee and thy brethren to do with the rest of the siluer, and gold, doe ye it according to the will of your God.
19 Oo weelasha laguugu dhiibay in lagu qabto adeegidda guriga Ilaahaaga waxaad hor geeysaa Ilaaha Yeruusaalem.
And the vessels that are giuen thee for the seruice of the house of thy God, those deliuer thou before God in Ierusalem.
20 Oo wax alla wixii kaloo loogu baahan yahay guriga Ilaahaaga aawadiis, ee kugu habboon inaad bixiso, ka bixi boqorka gurigiisa khasnadda ah.
And the residue that shall be needeful for the house of thy God, which shall be meete for thee to bestowe, thou shalt bestowe it out of the Kings treasure house,
21 Oo weliba anigoo ah Boqor Artaxshasta waxaan amar ku siinayaa khasnajiyada webiga shishadiisa jooga oo dhan, in dadaal lagu sameeyo wax alla wixii uu idin weyddiisto wadaadka Cesraa oo ah karraaniga sharciga Ilaaha samada,
And I King Artahshashte haue giuen commandemet to all the treasurers which are beyond the Riuer, that whatsoeuer Ezra the Priest and Scribe of the Law of the God of heauen shall require of you, that it be done incontinently,
22 intii ku siman boqol talanti oo lacag ah, iyo boqol kor oo sarreen ah, iyo boqol bad oo khamri ah, iyo boqol bad oo saliid ah, iyo cusbo aan la xisaabin intay tahay.
Vnto an hundreth talents of siluer, vnto an hundreth measures of wheate, and vnto an hundreth baths of wine, and vnto an hundreth baths of oyle, and salt without writing.
23 Haddaba wax alla wixii Ilaaha samadu uu amro saas dadaal ha loogu sameeyo guriga Ilaaha samada aawadiis, waayo, bal maxay cadho ugu dhacaysaa boqortooyada boqorka iyo wiilashiisa?
Whatsoeuer is by the commandement of the God of heauen, let it be done speedily for the house of the God of heauen: for why should he be wroth against the realme of the King, and his children?
24 Oo weliba waxaannu ku ogeysiinaynaa inaanay xalaal ahaan doonin in gabbaro, canshuur, amase baad toona la saaro wadaaddada, iyo kuwa reer Laawi, iyo nimanka gabayaaga ah, iyo irid-dhawryada, iyo reer Netiiniim, iyo addoommada gurigan Ilaah midkoodna.
And we certifie you, that vpon any of the Priestes, Leuites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or Ministers in this house of God, there shall no gouernour laye vpon them tolle, tribute nor custome.
25 Oo adigoo Cesraa ahu xigmadda Ilaahaagu ku siiyey ku dooro xaakinno iyo qaadiyo u garsoora dadka webiga ka shisheeya oo dhan, in alla inta taqaan sharciyada Ilaahaaga, oo kii aan aqoonna bara.
And thou Ezra (after the wisedome of thy God, that is in thine hand) set iudges and arbiters, which may iudge all the people that is beyond the Riuer, euen all that knowe the Lawe of thy God, and teach ye them that know it not.
26 Oo ku alla kii aan addeecin sharciga Ilaahaaga iyo sharciga boqorka, xukun ha lagu soo dejiyo, iyadoo aad loogu dadaalayo, hadday tahay in la dilo, ama in la masaafuriyo, ama in xoolihiisa lagala wareego, amase in la xidho.
And whosoeuer will not doe the Lawe of thy God, and the Kings lawe, let him haue iudgement without delay, whether it be vnto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
27 Waxaa ammaan leh Rabbiga ah Ilaaha awowayaashayo, oo boqorka qalbigiisa geliyey wax sidanoo kale ah, inuu ku qurxiyo guriga Rabbiga oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal,
Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which so hath put in the Kings heart, to beautifie the house of the Lord that is in Ierusalem,
28 oo naxariis iga siiyey boqorkii, iyo lataliyayaashiisa, iyo amiirradiisa xoogga badan hortooda oo dhan. Oo waxaan u xoogaystay sidii gacanta Rabbiga Ilaahayga ahu ii saarnayd, markaasaan reer binu Israa'iil ka dhex urursaday rag madax ah inay i raacaan.
And hath enclined mercy toward me, before the King and his counsellers, and before all the Kings mightie Princes: and I was comforted by the hand of the Lord my God which was vpon me, and I gathered the chiefe of Israel to goe vp with me.
