The priests: sons of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy-three;

The singers: sons of Asaph, one hundred twenty-eight.

42 Oo kuwii irdaha dhawri jiray oo ahaa reer Shalluum, iyo reer Aateer, iyo reer Talmon, iyo reer Caquub, iyo reer Xatiitaa, iyo reer Shobay, kulligood waxay isku ahaayeen boqol iyo sagaal iyo soddon.

Sons of the gatekeepers: sons of Shallum, sons of Ater, sons of Talmon, sons of Akkub, sons of Hatita, sons of Shobai, the whole [are] one hundred thirty-nine.

55 Oo ilmihii addoommadii Sulaymaanna waxay ahaayeen reer Sotay, iyo reer Hasofered, iyo reer Feruudaa,

Sons of the servants of Solomon: sons of Sotai, sons of Sophereth, sons of Peruda,

56 iyo reer Yacalaa, iyo reer Darqoon, iyo reer Giddeel,

sons of Jaalah, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,

57 iyo reer Shefatyaah, iyo reer Xatiil, iyo reer Fokered Hasebaayiim iyo reer Aamii.

sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth of Zebaim, sons of Ami.

58 Reer Netiiniim oo dhan iyo ilmihii addoommadii Sulaymaan waxay isku ahaayeen saddex boqol iyo laba iyo sagaashan.

All the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon [are] three hundred ninety-two.

59 Oo kuwanuna waxay ahaayeen kuwii ka tegey Teel Melax, iyo Teel Xarshaa, iyo Keruub, iyo Addaan, iyo Immeer, laakiinse iyagu ma ay sheegi karin qabiilkoodii iyo jilibkoodii, iyo inay reer binu Israa'iil ahaayeen iyo in kale toona,

And these [are] those going up from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsa, Cherub, Addan, Immer, and they have not been able to declare the house of their fathers, and their seed, whether they [are] of Israel:

60 oo reer Delaayaah, iyo reer Toobiyaah, iyo reer Neqoodaa waxay isku ahaayeen lix boqol iyo laba iyo konton.

sons of Delaiah, sons of Tobiah, sons of Nekoda, six hundred fifty-two.

61 Oo kuwii wadaaddada ahaa, waxay ahaayeen reer Xabayaah, iyo reer Xaqoos, iyo reer Barsillay oo naag ka guursaday gabdhaha Barsillay oo ahaa reer Gilecaad, oo iyaga lagu magacaabay.

And of the sons of the priests: sons of Habaiah, sons of Koz, sons of Barzillai (who took a wife from the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and is called by their name);

62 Kuwanu magacyadoodii waxay ka doondooneen buuggii abtiriska, laakiinse lagama helin, sidaas aawadeed wadaadnimadii waa laga saaray sidii iyagoo nijaas ah.

these have sought their register among those reckoning themselves by genealogy, and they have not been found, and they are redeemed from the priesthood,

63 Oo taliyihii baa iyagii ku amray inayan waxyaalaha quduuska ah wax ka cunin jeer wadaad Uuriim iyo Tummiim leh kaco.

and the Tirshatha says to them that they do not eat of the most holy things until the standing up of a priest with [the] Lights and with [the] Perfections.

64 Oo ururka oo dhammu wuxuu giddigiis isku ahaa laba iyo afartan kun iyo saddex boqol iyo lixdan,

All the assembly together [is] forty-two thousand three hundred sixty,

65 oo intaas waxaa gooni ka ahaa raggii addoommadooda ahaa iyo naagihii addoommahooda ahaa, oo iyana waxay ahaayeen toddoba kun iyo saddex boqol iyo toddoba iyo soddon, oo waxay lahaayeen laba boqol oo ah rag iyo naago gabya.

apart from their servants and their handmaids; these [are] seven thousand three hundred thirty-seven: and of them [are] two hundred male and female singers.

66 Fardahoodu waxay ahaayeen toddoba boqol iyo lix iyo soddon; baqlahooduna laba boqol iyo shan iyo afartan,

Their horses [are] seven hundred thirty-six, their mules, two hundred forty-five,

67 geelooduna afar boqol iyo shan iyo soddon, dameerahooduna lix kun iyo toddoba boqol iyo labaatan.

their camels, four hundred thirty-five, donkeys, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68 Oo qaar ah madaxdii qabiilooyinka ayaa markay yimaadeen gurigii Rabbiga oo Yeruusaalem ku yaal ikhtiyaarkood wax ugu bixiyey in gurigii Rabbiga meeshiis laga dhiso.

And some of the heads of the fathers in their coming to the house of YHWH that [is] in Jerusalem, have offered willingly for the house of God, to establish it on its base;

69 Iyagu intay awoodeen ayay khasnaddii shuqulka siiyeen kow iyo lixdan kun oo dirham oo dahab ah, iyo shan kun oo mina oo lacag ah, iyo boqol khamiis oo ah dhar wadaadood.

according to their power they have given to the treasure of the work; of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and of silver, five thousand pounds, and of priests’ coats, one hundred.

70 Sidaas daraaddeed wadaaddadii, iyo kuwii reer Laawi, iyo dadkii qaarkiis, iyo nimankii gabayaaga ahaa, iyo irid-dhawryadii, iyo reer Netiiniimba waxay degeen magaalooyinkoodii, oo reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammuna waxay degeen magaalooyinkoodii.

And the priests dwell, and the Levites, and of the people, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the Nethinim, in their cities; even all Israel in their cities.
