< Yexesqeel 36 >

1 Oo weliba Wiilka Aadamow, buuraha reer binu Israa'iil wax u sii sheeg, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Buuraha reer binu Israa'iilow, bal erayga Rabbiga maqla.
You human, prophesy about the mountains in Israel. Say to them, “You mountains in Israel, listen to what Yahweh says.
2 Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Cadowgu wuxuu idinku yidhi, Ahaa, xataa meelihii sarsare oo hore annagaa hanti ahaan u leh.
This is what Yahweh the Lord says: Your enemies [happily] said about you, ‘Aha! The mountains in Israel that have existed for a long time have become ours!’”
3 Sidaas daraaddeed wax sii sheeg, oo waxaad tidhaahdaa, Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Iyagu cidla bay idinka dhigeen, oo dhinac kastaba way idinka liqeen, si aad quruumaha kale hanti ugu noqotaan, oo waxaa laydinku hadal hayaa bushimaha waranwarrowyada, oo dadyowgaad ceeb u tihiin.
Therefore prophesy about those mountains and say, “This is what Yahweh the Lord declares: [Armies of other nations] attacked you [DOU] from every direction, with the result that your land became abandoned, and people of other nations occupied you, and they spoke maliciously about you and slandered you.
4 Sidaas daraaddeed buuraha reer binu Israa'iilow, bal erayga Sayidka Rabbiga ah maqla. Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu ku leeyahay buuraha iyo kuraha, iyo webiyaasha, iyo dooxooyinka, iyo meelaha cidlada ah, iyo magaalooyinka laga tegey oo quruumaha kale ee ku wareegsan wax la dhaco oo la quudhsado u noqday,
Therefore, you mountains in Israel, listen to this message from me. I, Yahweh the Lord, have something to say to the hills and mountains, to the ravines and valleys, to the deserted ruins and towns whose valuable possessions have been taken and their people ridiculed by the people of other nations around them. This is what I, Yahweh the Lord, declare: I am very angry [DOU] with the people of Edom and other nations; they have forced you [Israeli people] to endure them insulting you.
5 sidaas daraaddeed Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Hubaal anigu waxaan dabkii masayrkayga kaga hadlay wax ka gees ah kuwa quruumaha kale iyo reer Edom oo dhan, kuwaasoo dalkaygii dhaxal ahaan isaga qaatay iyagoo aad u faraxsan oo dadkayga quudhsanaya si ay u dhacaan.
6 Sidaas daraaddeed dalka reer binu Israa'iil wax ka sii sheeg, oo waxaad buuraha iyo kuraha iyo webiyaasha iyo dooxooyinkaba ku tidhaahdaa, Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Bal eega, masayrkaygii iyo cadhadaydii ayaan ku hadlay, maxaa yeelay, idinku waxaad sidateen ceebtii quruumaha.
7 Sidaas daraaddeed Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Gacan taagan ayaan ku dhaartay oo idhi, Hubaal quruumaha idinku wareegsanu ceebtooday sidan doonaan.
Therefore, this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: Lifting up my arm, I solemnly declare that the people of the nations that are around you will also endure being insulted.
8 Laakiinse idinku buuraha reer binu Israa'iilow, waxaad soo bixin doontaan laamihiinna, oo waxaad midhihiinna u dhali doontaan dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil, waayo, iyagu dhaqsay u iman doonaan.
But [I say to] you mountains in Israel that huge crops of fruit will grow on your trees for my Israeli people, because they will soon return home [from Babylonia].
9 Waayo, bal eega, raalli baan idinka ahay, oo waan idiin soo noqon doonaa, oo idinkana waa laydin fali doonaa oo waa laydin beeri doonaa.
I (am concerned about/will take care of) you, and I will bless you. I will [enable farmers to] plow the ground and plant seed there.
10 Oo waxaan idinku badin doonaa dad ah reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan, xataa kulligoodba, oo magaalooyinka waa la degi doonaa, meelaha burbursanna waa la wada dhisi doonaa.
I will cause the number of people who live on you mountains and everywhere else in Israel to greatly increase. People will live in the towns and rebuild [houses where there are now only] ruins.
11 Oo waxaan idinku badin doonaa dad iyo duunyo, oo iyana way sii kordhi doonaan oo wax bay dhali doonaan, oo dad baan idin dejin doonaa sidii markii hore, oo waxaan idiin samayn doonaa wax bilowgiinnii hore ka sii wanaagsan, oo waxaad ogaan doontaan inaan anigu Rabbiga ahay.
I will cause the number of people and domestic animals to increase. People will have many children [IDM, DOU]. I will enable people to live there like they did previously, and I will enable them to prosper like they did before. Then you will know that it is I, Yahweh, [who have the power to do what I say that I will do].
12 Hubaal waxaan ka dhigi doonaa in dad kugu dul socdo, waana dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil, oo way ku hantiyi doonaan, oo dhaxalkoodii baad ahaan doontaa, oo haatan ka dibna mar dambe ma aad gablamin doontid.
I will enable my Israeli people to walk through your mountains. They will own you; you will be their permanent possession. Never again will their children die.
13 Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaa lagu yidhaahdaa, Dalyahow, dadka waad baabbi'isaa oo quruuntaadiina waad gablamisay,
This is also what I, Yahweh the Lord, say to you: People say that [only a small amount of food is produced on your mountains, and as a result the people of Israel] die from hunger.
14 sidaas daraaddeed Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Mar dambe dad ma aad baabbi'in doontid, oo quruuntaadana mar dambe ma aad gablamin doontid.
Therefore, I, Yahweh the Lord, declare that no longer will that happen.
15 Oo Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxaan ka dhigi doonaa inaan mar dambe ceebtii quruumaha dhexdaada laga maqal, oo mar dambena caydii dadyowga siima aad sidan doontid, oo quruuntaadana mar dambe ma aad turunturayn doontid.
No longer will the people of other nations ridicule you; no longer will they laugh at you; no longer will [the armies of] other nations conquer you. [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have declared that it will happen.”
16 Oo haddana Eraygii Rabbiga ayaa ii yimid isagoo leh,
Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
17 Wiilka Aadamow, markii reer binu Israa'iil ay dalkooda dhex degganaayeen waxay ku nijaaseeyeen socodkooda iyo falimahooda, oo jidkooduna wuxuu hortayda kula mid ahaa sidii naag caado qabta xaylkeed oo kale.
“You human, when the Israeli people were living in their own land, they (defiled it/caused it to become unacceptable to me) by the things that they did. I considered that their behavior was [disgusting], like [SIM] the rags/cloths that women use during their monthly menstrual periods.
18 Sidaas daraaddeed cadhadaydii iyagaan ugu kor shubay dhiiggii ay dalka ku dhex daadiyeen aawadiis, iyo sanamyadoodii ay ku nijaaseeyeen aawadood.
So I severely punished [MTY] them, because they had murdered [MTY] many people and because they had defiled the land by [worshiping] idols there.
19 Oo markaasaan iyagii quruumaha ku kala dhex firdhiyey, oo waddammaday ku kala firidhsanaayeen. Waxaan iyaga u xukumay siduu socodkoodu ahaa iyo siday falimahoodu ahaayeen.
I caused them to be scattered among many nations [DOU]. I punished [MTY] them like they deserved to be punished because of their very evil behavior [DOU].
20 Oo markay quruumihii ay tageenba dhex galeen, magacayga quduuska ah nijaas bay kaga dhigeen, waayo, waxaa laga yidhi, Kuwanu waa dadkii Rabbiga oo dalkiisii ka soo baxay.
And wherever they went among those nations, they caused my reputation [MTY] to be disgraced. What has happened is that the people in those countries said about the Israeli people, ‘They belong to Yahweh, but they were forced to leave the land that he [gave to them].’
21 Laakiinse anaa u naxay magacayga quduuska ah oo ay reer binu Israa'iil nijaas kaga dhex dhigeen quruumihii ay tageenba.
But I was concerned about my reputation, which the people of Israel had disgraced among the nations to which they were forced to go.
22 Sidaas daraaddeed waxaad reer binu Israa'iil ku tidhaahdaa, Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Reer binu Israa'iilow, anigu taas idinka aawadiin uma aanan samayn, laakiinse waxaan u sameeyey magacayga quduuska ah aawadiis, kaasoo aad nijaas kaga dhex dhigteen quruumihii aad tagteenba.
Therefore, say to the Israeli people, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: You Israeli people, it is not for your sake that I am going to do these things. Instead, it is for the sake of my sacred reputation, which you have disgraced among the nations to which you were forced to go.
23 Oo quduus baan ka dhigi doonaa magacayga weyn oo quruumaha nijaas laga dhex dhigay, oo aad idinku nijaas kaga dhigteen. Oo Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Quruumuhu waxay ogaan doonaan inaan anigu Rabbiga ahay markaan dhexdiinna quduus kaga noqdo iyagoo indhaha ku haya.
I will show that my reputation is sacred, a reputation which you have disgraced among the nations to which you were forced to go. And when I show the nations that I am holy, the people of those nations will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].
24 Waayo, quruumahaan idinka soo dhex bixin doonaa, oo waddammadana waan idinka soo ururin doonaa, oo waxaan idin geeyn doonaa dalkiinnii.
What I will do is to bring you back from those nations. I will gather you from all the countries [to which you were forced to go], and bring you back to your own land.
25 Oo markaasaan biyo nadiif ah idinku kor rushayn doonaa, oo idinna nadiif baad ahaan doontaan, oo waxaan idinka nadiifin doonaa wasakhdiinnii oo dhan iyo sanamyadiinnii oo dhanba.
[It will be as though] [MET] I will sprinkle clean water on you, and then you will be clean. I will cause you to be cleansed from everything that has defiled you, and I will cause you to stop worshiping idols.
26 Oo weliba waxaan idin siin doonaa qalbi cusub, oo ruux cusubna waan idin gelin doonaa; jidhkiinnana qalbigii dhagaxa ahaa baan ka dhex bixin doonaa, oo waxaan idin siin doonaa qalbi jiidh ah.
I will give you a completely new way of thinking [IDM]. I will enable you to stop being stubborn [IDM], and I will enable you to obey me from your inner beings [IDM].
27 Oo Ruuxayga ayaan idin dhex gelin doonaa, oo waxaan ka dhigi doonaa inaad qaynuunnadayda ku socotaan, xukummadaydana waad xajin doontaan, waadna samayn doontaan.
I will put my Spirit within you and enable you to carefully obey all my laws [DOU].
28 Oo waxaad degganaan doontaan dalkii aan awowayaashiin siiyey, oo dadkaygii baad ahaan doontaan, aniguna Ilaahiinna baan ahaan doonaa.
You will again live in the land that I gave to your ancestors. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
29 Oo weliba wasakhnimadiinna oo dhan waan idinka badbaadin doonaa, oo waxaan idiinku yeedhi doonaa hadhuudh, waanan badin doonaa, oo abaarna idinkuma soo dejin doono.
I will free you from all your disgraceful behavior. I will cause your grain to be plentiful, and I will not send a famine to you again.
30 Oo midhaha dhirtana iyo waxa beeraha ka baxaba, waan badin doonaa, si aydaan mar dambe cay abaareed quruumaha uga dhex helin.
I will cause your fruit trees to produce plenty of fruit and your ground to produce plenty of good crops, with the result that you will no longer be ridiculed by the people of other nations because of your not having enough food.
31 Oo markaasaad jidadkiinnii xunxumaa iyo falimihiinnii aan wanaagsanayn soo xusuusan doontaan, oo xumaatooyinkiinna iyo waxyaalihiinna karaahiyada ah aawadood ayaad iskaraahsan doontaan.
When that happens, you will think about your previous evil behavior and wicked deeds, and you will (be very displeased with/hate) yourselves for your sins and the detestable things that you did.
32 Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Taas idinka aawadiin uma aan sameeyo, bal idinku taas ogaada, reer binu Israa'iilow, jidadkiinna xunxun aawadood isu ceebsada oo facsharma.
But I, Yahweh the Lord, declare that I want you to know that it is not for your sake that I will do those things. You Israeli people ought to be ashamed of your behavior.
33 Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Maalinta aan idinka nadiifin doono xumaatooyinkiinna oo dhan waxaan ka dhigi doonaa in magaalooyinka la degganaado, oo meelihii burburayna waa la wada dhisi doonaa.
This is also what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: At the time that I forgive you for all the sins that you have committed, I will enable you to live in your towns again and to build houses where there are now only ruins.
34 Oo dhulkii cidlada ahaan jirayna waa la beeran doonaa, kaasoo cidlada ku ahaan jiray wax alla wixii soo dhex maraba.
People who walk through your country will see that your land is again cultivated instead of (being desolate/having nothing growing in it).
35 Oo waxaa la odhan doonaa, Dalkan cidlada ahaan jiray wuxuu noqday sidii beertii Ceeden oo kale, oo magaalooyinkii dumay oo burburay oo cidlada ahaa waa la deyray oo waa la dhex degay.
They will say, “This land that was ruined has become [very fertile/productive] like [SIM] the garden of Eden! The cities that were piles of ruins, empty and destroyed, now have walls around them, and people live in those cities.”
36 Oo markaasaa quruumaha hareerihiinna ku hadhay waxay ogaan doonaan in aniga Rabbiga ahu aan meelihii dumay dhisay, iyo inaan dhulkii cidlada ahaa beeray. Aniga Rabbiga ah ayaa saas ku hadlay oo waxaasna waan samayn doonaa.
When that happens, the people in the nations that are around you that still exist will know that it is I, Yahweh, who have enabled you to rebuild what was destroyed, and to again plant crops in the fields that had nothing growing in them. I, Yahweh, have said [that it will happen], and I will cause it to happen.
37 Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Weliba reer binu Israa'iil waxaas bay i weyddiisan doonaan inaan iyaga u sameeyo, oo dad sidii adhi oo kale ah ayaan iyaga ku sii badin doonaa.
This is also what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: Again I will heed what you Israeli people are pleading for me to do for you. I will cause your people to be as numerous as your sheep,
38 Sida adhiga quduuska ah oo kale, iyo sida adhiga Yeruusaalem dhex jooga wakhtiga iidaheeda ayaa magaalooyinkii dumay dad sidii adhi oo kale ah ugu wada buuxsami doonaan, oo waxay ogaan doonaan inaan anigu Rabbiga ahay.
as numerous as the flocks of sheep that will be needed for offerings in Jerusalem during your regular festivals. The cities that are now ruined will be filled with people, and then you will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”
