1 Oo haddana Eraygii Rabbiga ayaa ii yimid isagoo leh,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 Wiilka Aadamow, haddana Turos aawadeed baroor kor ugu qayli,
Thou, therefore, son of man, Take up over Tyre a dirge;
3 oo waxaad Turos ku tidhaahdaa, Taada badda kadinkeeda ku taal, oo ah meesha ay gasiirado badan dadkoodu ka baayacmushtaraanay, Sayidka Rabbiga ahu wuxuu leeyahay, Turosay, waxaad istidhi, Anigu waxaan leeyahay qurux kaamil ah.
And thou shalt say unto Tyre, O thou that dwellest by the entrances of the sea, Thou merchant of the peoples unto many shores, — Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, O Tyre, Thou saidst, I, am the perfection of beauty!
4 Soohdimahaagu waxay ku yaallaan badda dhexdeeda, oo kuwii ku dhisayna quruxdaadii way kaamileen.
In the heart of the seas, were thy bounds, —Thy builders perfected thy beauty:
5 Alwaaxda doonniyahaaga oo dhan waxay ka sameeyeen dhirta berooshka ah ee Seniir, oo Lubnaan waxay ka soo goosteen geedo kedar ah si ay daqal kaaga dhigaan.
With fir-trees from Senir, but they for thee all the two-decked vessels, — Cedar from Lebanon, fetched they, to make masts for thee:
6 Waxay seebab kaaga sameeyeen geedihii alloonka ee Baashaan, oo kursiyadaadiina waxay ka sameeyeen alwaax gasiiradaha Kitiim laga keenay oo foolmaroodi lagu sharxay.
With oaks from Bashan, made they thine oars, — Thy benches, made they of ivory, inlaid with boxwood, From the shores of the West:
7 Oo waxaa shiraaq kuu ahaa maro wanaagsan oo daabac leh oo Masar laga keenay, si ay taasu calaamad kuugu ahaato, oo waxaa kugu dednaa buluug iyo guduud gasiiradaha Eliishaah laga keenay.
Of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, was thy sail, To serve thee for ensign, — Blue and purple from the shores of Aeolis became thine awning:
8 Turosay, kuwii sixiimadahaagii seebiyey waxay ahaayeen dadka Siidoon iyo Arwaad deggan, oo kuwii xigmadda lahaa ee ku dhex joogayna waxay ahaayeen doonniyawadayaashaadii.
the inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad, Became rowers for thee, — Thine own skilled men O Tyre, were within thee, They were thy sailors:
9 Odayaashii Gebal iyo kuweedii xigmadda lahaa ee ku dhex joogay ayaa kuwa dillaacyada awda kuu ahaayeen, oo badda doonniyaheedii oo dhan iyo baxriyadoodii oo dhammuba way ku dhex joogeen si ay kuula baayacmushtaraan.
the elders of Byblus and the skilled men thereof, were within thee, Thy calkers, — All the ships of the sea and their mariners, were within thee, To carry on thy traffic,
10 Reer Faaris, iyo reer Luud, iyo reer Fuud ayaa ciidankaagii ku jiray, oo waxay kuu ahaayeen dagaalyahankaagii, oo dhexdaaday gaashaanka iyo koofiyadda dagaalka sudheen, oo waxay soo bandhigeen quruxdaadii.
They of Persia and Lud and Phut were in thine army, Thy men of war, — Shield and helmet, hung they up within thee, They set forth thy splendour:
11 Oo derbiyadaadii kugu wareegsanaana waxaa dul joogay raggii reer Arwad iyo ciidankaagii, oo munaaradahaagiina waxaa ku jiray raggii reer Gammaadiim. Iyana gaashaammadooday derbiyadaadii kugu wareegsanaa sudheen, oo quruxdaadiina kaamil bay ka dhigeen.
The sons of Arvad: with thine army, were upon thy walls round about, And valorous in thy towers, — Their shields, hung they up on thy walls round about, They perfected thy beauty:
12 Tarshiish waxay ahayd tii kula baayacmushtari jirtay hodantinimadaadii badnayd ee cayn kasta ahayd aawadeed, oo waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jirtay lacag, iyo bir, iyo qasacad, iyo alxan.
Tarshish was a trader of thine. For the abundance of all wealth, — With silver iron. tin and lead, Took they part in thy traffic:
13 Oo reer Yaawaan, iyo reer Tubal, iyo reer Meshegna way kula baayacmushtari jireen, oo waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jireen dad noolnool iyo weelal naxaas ah.
Javan. Tubal and Meshech, They were merchants of thine, — With the persons of men and vessels of bronze, Shared they in thy barter:
14 Oo kuwii reer Togarmaahna waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jireen fardo iyo fardo la fuulo iyo baqlo.

15 Dadkii reer Dedaanna way kula baayacmushtari jireen, oo gasiirado badan ayaa kuu ahaan jiray meelahaad ku baayacmushtartid, oo waxay kuu keeni jireen foolmaroodi iyo qori haabniim ah.
the sons of Dedan were merchants of thine, Many, isles, took the merchandise of thy hand, —Horns of ivory and ebony, gave they back to thee in exchange:
16 Suuriyana way kula baayacmushtari jirtay, maxaa yeelay, sanco faro badan baad samayn jirtay, oo waxay alaabtaada kaga baayacmushtari jireen dhagaxyo sumurud la yidhaahdo, iyo guduud, iyo daabac, iyo dhar wanaagsan, iyo shacaab iyo dhagax agate la yidhaahdo.
Syria, was a trader of thine For the abundance of thy manufactures, - With carbuncle and purple and embroidery and fine linen and coral and rubies, Took they part in thy traffic:
17 Dalka Yahuudah iyo dalka Israa'iilna way kula baayacmushtari jireen, oo waxay alaabtaada kaga baayacmushtari jireen sarreenkii Minniid, iyo fannag macaan, iyo malab, iyo saliid, iyo beeyo.

18 Dimishaqna way kula baayacmushtari jirtay sancadaadii faraha badnayd aawadeed, iyo hodantinimadaadii badnayd ee cayn kasta ahayd oo dhan, oo waxay ka dhaafsan jirtay khamrigii Xelboon iyo dhogor cad.
Damascus was a trader of thine For the multitude of thy manufactures For the multitude of all wealth, - With the wine of Helbon and white wool:
19 Wedaan iyo Yaawaan waxay alaabtaada kaga baayacmushtareen dun, oo alaabtaadana waxaa ka mid ahaa bir dhalaalaysa iyo kasiya iyo kalamus.
Wedan and Javan, from Uzal, Brought into thy traffic, — Steel, cassia and calamus, Were, in thy merchandise:
20 Dedaan waxay kaga baayacmushtari jirtay dharka qaaliga ah ee fardaha lagu saldhaysto.
Dedan was a merchant of thine, - With spreading wraps for riding:
21 Carabiya iyo amiirradii reer Qedaar oo dhammu waxay kuu soo iib geeysan jireen baraar, iyo wanan iyo orgi: oo waxaasay kaaga baayacmushtari jireen.
Arabia and all the princes of Kedar, They, were traders at thy service, — With lambs and rams and he-goats, With these, were they traders of thine:
22 Oo reer Shebaa iyo reer Racmaahna way kula baayacmushtari jireen, oo waxay alaabtaadii kaga baayacmushtari jireen xawaashka ugu fiican, iyo dhagxan kasta oo qaali ah, iyo dahab.
The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, They were merchants of thine, — With the chief of all spices and with every kind of precious stone and gold, Took they part in thy traffic:
23 Oo waxaa kaloo kula baayacmushtari jiray Xaaraan, iyo Kanneeh, iyo Ceeden, iyo baayacmushtariyaashii Shebaa, iyo Ashuur, iyo Kilmad oo dhan.
Haran and Canneh and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, —Asshur. Chilmad, Were merchants of thine:
24 Kuwaasu waxay ahaan jireen baayacmushtariyaasha kaa iibin jiray alaab door ah oo cayn kasta ah oo ahaa dhar buluug ah, iyo daabac, iyo sanaaduuq uu dhar qaali ahu ka buuxo oo ay xadhko ku xidhxidhan yihiin oo alwaax kedar ah laga sameeyey.
Those were thy merchants for gorgeous garments, for wrappings of blue and embroidery, and for treasure-chests of variegated cloth, —for cords, twisted and strong, in thy market:
25 Doonniyaha Tarshiish ayaa shixnaddaada qaadi jiray, oo adigu waad buuxsantay, oo badda dhexdeeda ayaad aad ugu sharaf badnayd.
the ships of Tarshish, were thy masts Carrying on thy barter, So wast thou filled and becamest very glorious In the heart of the seas.
26 Kuwii seebab kuugu kaxaynayay waxay ku geeyeen meel biyo badan, oo dabayshii bari ayaa badda dhexdeeda kugu jebisay.
Into mighty waters, have they brought thee, the rowers—even thee, — the east wind, hath broken thee In the heart of the seas:
27 Maalkaaga, iyo alaabtaada, iyo baayacmushtarkaaga, iyo baxriyadaada, iyo doonniyawadayaashaada, iyo kuwa dillaacyada awda, iyo kuwa baayacmushtarkaaga ka shaqaysta, iyo raggaaga dagaalyahanka ah oo ku dhex jooga oo dhan, iyo guutada ku dhex joogta oo dhammuba waxay maalinta baabbi'iddaada ku wada daadan doonaan badaha dhexdooda.
Thy wealth and thy wares, thy merchandise thy mariners, and thy sailors, -thy calkers and the barterers of thy merchandise and all thy men of war who are in thee and in all thy gathered host which is in thy midst Shall fall into the heart of the seas, In the day of thy fall.
28 Kuwa agagaarkaaga jooga oo dhammu waxay la wada gariiri doonaan qaylada dhawaaqa doonniyawadayaashaada.
At the sound of the outcry of thy pilots, the coasts shall quake:
29 Oo kuwa seebabka ku shaqeeya oo dhan, iyo baxriyada, iyo doonniyawadayaasha badda oo dhammuba doonniyahooda way ka soo degi doonaan, oo berrigay soo istaagi doonaan.
Then shall come down from their ships all that handle the oar, mariners, all the sailors of the sea— Upon the land, shall they take up their station;
30 Oo waxaa la maqli doonaa iyagoo kuu barooranaya, oo si qadhaadh ayay u ooyi doonaan, oo madaxooday boodh ku dul shubi doonaan, oo dambaskay ku galgalan doonaan.
And make loud [lament] over thee, with their voice, And make biter outcry, - And shall lift up dust on their heads, In ashes, shall roll themselves;
31 Oo adiga daraaddaa ayay isu xiiri doonaan, oo joonyado bay guntan doonaan, oo waxay kuugu ooyi doonaan qalbi murugaysan iyo baroor qadhaadh.
And shall make bald for thee a baldness And gird them with sackcloth, — And shall weep for thee in bitterness of soul A bitter lamentation;
32 Oo intay ooyayaan ayay baroor kuu qaadi doonaan, oo waxay ku barooran doonaan iyagoo leh, Turosta badda dhexdeeda ku baabba'day, bal magaaladee baa la mid ah?
And shall take up for thee in their Wailing: a dirge, And shall chant over thee, - Who is like Tyre? Like the Sent One in the midst of the sea?
33 Markay alaabtaadu badda ka soo baxday dad faro badan baad dhergin jirtay, oo boqorradii dunidana hodan baad maalkaagii badnaa iyo baayacmushtarkaagii kaga dhigtay.
By the going forth of thy commodities out of the seas, Thou didst satisfy many peoples, By the multitude of thy wares and of thy merchandise, Thou didst enrich the kings of the earth.
34 Wakhtigii badaha lagugu jebiyey biyaha moolka dheer dhexdooda ayaa baayacmushtarkaagii iyo guutadaadii oo dhammuba kugu wada dhex baabbi'iyeen.
Now, thou art wrecked out of the seas In the depths of waters, — Thy merchandise and all thy gathered host In thy midst, have fallen.
35 Dadka gasiiradaha deggan oo dhammu way kula yaabsan yihiin, oo boqorradooduna aad iyo aad bay u cabsan yihiin, oo wejigooduna aad buu u argaggaxsan yahay.
All the dwellers in the coastlands, Are astounded over thee, - And their kings have been made to shudder a shuddering, To be troubled in countenance.
36 Oo baayacmushtariyaasha dadka ku dhex jiraa way kugu foodhyaan, oo cabsi baad noqotay, oo weligaana mar dambe ma aad jiri doontid.
The traders among the peoples, have hissed over thee: A terror, hast thou become, And, art not, Unto times age-abiding.
