1 Markaasaa Rabbigu Muuse la hadlay oo wuxuu ku yidhi,

And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

2 Curadyada oo dhan quduus iiga dhig; wax alla wixii maxal fura oo ku dhex jira reer binu Israa'iil, dad iyo duunyoba, anigaa iska leh.

Sanctifie vnto me all the first borne: that is, euery one that first openeth the wombe among the children of Israel, as well of man as of beast: for it is mine.

3 Markaasaa Muuse wuxuu dadkii ku yidhi, Xusuusta maalintan aad Masar ka soo baxdeen, oo aad ka soo baxdeen gurigii addoonsiga; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog badan buu idinkaga soo bixiyey meeshan; waa inaan kibis khamiirsan la cunin.

Then Moses sayd vnto the people, Remember this day in the which ye came out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage: for by a mightie hande the Lord brought you out from thence: therefore no leauened bread shall bee eaten.

4 Idinku waxaad baxdeen maanta oo ah bisha Aabiib.

This day come yee out in the moneth of Abib.

5 Oo markii Rabbigu idin geeyo dalka reer Kancaan iyo reer Xeed, iyo reer Amor, iyo reer Xiwi, iyo reer Yebuus, oo uu awowayaashiin ugu dhaartay inuu idin siinayo, kaas oo ah dal caano iyo malab la barwaaqaysan, de markaas waa inaad bishan dhexdeeda dhawrtaan u adeegiddan Ilaah.

Now when the Lord hath brought thee into the land of the Canaanites, and Hittites, and Amorites, and Hiuites, and Iebusites (which he sware vnto thy fathers, that he woulde giue thee, a land flowing with milke and honie) then thou shalt keepe this seruice in this moneth.

6 Toddoba maalmood waa inaad kibis aan khamiir lahayn cuntaan, oo maalinta toddobaad waa inay iid Rabbiga u ahaato.

Seuen dayes shalt thou eate vnleauened bread, and the seuenth day shall be the feast of the Lord.

7 Oo kibis aan khamiir lahayn waa in la cunaa toddobada maalmood oo dhan; oo waa inaan lagugu arag kibis khamiirsan, ama waa inaan xataa lagugu arag khamiir, tan iyo xudduudkaaga oo dhan.

Vnleauened bread shall bee eaten seuen dayes, and there shall no leauened bread be seene with thee, nor yet leauen be seene with thee in all thy quarters.

8 Maalintaas waa inaad wiilkaaga u sheegtaa, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Waa wixii Rabbigu ii sameeyey aawadood markii aan Masar ka soo baxay.

And thou shalt shew thy sonne in that day, saying, This is done, because of that which the Lord did vnto me, when I came out of Egypt.

9 Oo waxay kuu noqon doontaa calaamo gacantaada saaran, iyo xusuus indhahaaga u dhaxaysa, in Rabbiga sharcigiisu afkaaga ku jiro; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog leh buu kaaga soo bixiyey dalkii Masar.

And it shalbe a signe vnto thee vpon thine hande, and for a remembrance betweene thine eyes, that the Lawe of the Lord may be in thy mouth: for by a strong hand the Lord brought thee out of Egypt.

10 Sidaas daraaddeed waa inaad amarkan haysaa xilligiisa, oo aad dhawrtaa sannad ilaa sannad.

Keepe therefore this ordinance in his season appoynted from yeere to yeere.

11 Oo markii Rabbigu ku geeyo dalka reer Kancaan siduu ugu dhaartay adiga iyo awowayaashaaba, oo uu ku siiyo,

And when the Lord shall bring thee into the lande of the Canaanites, as hee sware vnto thee and to thy fathers, and shall giue it thee,

12 de markaas waa inaad Rabbiga gooni ugu soocdaa kulli intii maxal furta oo dhan iyo intii xoolaha curad ah, mid kasta oo lab ah Rabbigu waa iska lahaan doonaa.

Then thou shalt set apart vnto the Lord all that first openeth the wombe: also euery thing that first doeth open the wombe, and commeth forth of thy beast: the males shalbe the Lordes.

13 Oo curad kasta oo dameer ah waa inaad ku madax furtaa wan yar; oo haddii aadan doonaynin inaad madax furto, de markaas waa inaad luqunta ka jebisaa, oo dadkaaga curadyadiisa oo dhan waa inaad wax ku madax furtaa.

But euery first foale of an asse, thou shalt redeeme with a lambe: and if thou redeeme him not, then thou shalt breake his necke: likewise all the first borne of man among thy sonnes shalt thou bye out.

14 Oo dabadeedto markii wiilkaagu wax ku weyddiiyo oo kugu yidhaahdo, Waxanu waa maxay? waa inaad ku tidhaahdaa isaga, Gacan xoog badan baa Rabbigu nagaga soo bixiyey Masar oo ahaa gurigii addoonsiga;

And when thy sonne shall aske thee to morowe, saying, What is this? thou shalt then say vnto him, With a mightie hande the Lord brought vs out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

15 oo markii Fircoon dooni waayay inuu na sii daayo, waxaa dhacday inuu Rabbigu wada laayay curadyadii Masar oo dhan oo ahaa curadyadii dadka iyo curadyadii duunyadaba; oo sidaas daraaddeed baan Rabbiga allabari ugu bixiyaa wax alla wixii maxal fura oo dhan, ee ah inta lab, laakiinse dadkayga curadyadiisa oo dhan wax baan ku madax furtaa.

For when Pharaoh was harde hearted against our departing, the Lord then slewe all the first borne in the lande of Egypt: from the first borne of man euen to the first borne of beast: therefore I sacrifice vnto the Lord all the males that first open the wombe, but all the first borne of my sonnes I redeeme.

16 Oo waxay kuu noqon doontaa calaamo gacantaada saaran, iyo wax ka laalaada indhahaaga dhexdooda; waayo, Rabbigu gacan xoog badan buu Masar nagaga soo bixiyey.

And it shalbe as a token vpon thine hand, and as frontlets betweene thine eyes, that the Lord brought vs out of Egypt by a mightie hande.

17 Oo markii Fircoon dadkii sii daayay, Ilaah kuma uu kaxayn jidka dalka reer Falastiin in kastoo uu kaasu dhowaa, waayo, Ilaah wuxuu yidhi, Waaba intaasoo dadku markay dagaal arkaan ay qoomameeyaan, oo ay Masar dib ugu noqdaan.

Nowe when Pharaoh had let the people go, God caried them not by the way of the Philistims countrey, though it were neerer: (for God sayd, Lest the people repent whe they see warre, and turne againe to Egypt)

18 Laakiinse Ilaah wuxuu dadkii u hor kacay waddada la wareegta cidlada ku ag taal Badda Cas; reer binu Israa'iilna waxay Masar ka bexeen iyagoo hubkoodii sita.

But God made the people to go about by the way of the wildernesse of the red sea: and the children of Israel went vp armed out of the land of Egypt.

19 Markaasaa Muuse wuxuu qaaday lafihii Yuusuf; waayo, Yuusuf aad buu ugu dhaartay reer binu Israa'iil, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Hubaal Ilaah waa idin soo booqan doonaa; ee lafahayga waa inaad halkan ka qaaddaan.

(And Moses tooke the bones of Ioseph with him: for he had made the children of Israel sweare, saying, God will surely visite you, and ye shall take my bones away hence with you)

20 Oo waxay sodcaalkoodii ka bilaabeen Sukod, oo waxay degeen Eetaam, oo ku taal cidlada qarkeeda.

So they tooke their iourney from Succoth, and camped in Etham in the edge of the wildernesse.

21 Rabbiguna inuu iyaga jidka tuso aawadeed ayuu maalintii hortooda socon jiray isagoo ku jira tiir daruur ah, habeenkiina tiir dab ah, inuu iyaga u iftiimiyo si ay u socdaan hadh iyo habeenba.

And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloude to leade them the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to giue them light, that they might go both by day and by night.

22 Tiirkii daruurta ahaa oo maalinta, iyo tiirkii dabka ahaa oo habeenka kama tegin dadka hortiisa.

He tooke not away the pillar of ye cloude by day, nor the pillar of fire by night from before the people.
