1 Markaasaynu noqonnay, oo waxaynu u guurnay cidladii ku tiil jidka Badda Cas loo maro, sidii Rabbigu igu amray, oo in maalmo badan ah baynu ku wareegaynay Buur Seciir.
Then we turned, and tooke our iourney into the wildernes, by the way of the red Sea, as the Lord spake vnto me: and we compassed mount Seir a long time.
2 Markaasaa Rabbigu ila hadlay oo wuxuu igu yidhi,
And the Lord spake vnto me, saying,
3 Idinku buurtan wakhti dheer baad ku wareegayseen, haddaba xagga woqooyi u leexda.
Ye haue compassed this mountaine long ynough: turne you Northward.
4 Oo adigu waxaad dadka ku amartaa oo ku tidhaahdaa, Idinku waxaad dhex martaan soohdinta walaalihiin reer Ceesaw oo Seciir deggan, oo iyana way idinka cabsan doonaan, haddaba si wanaagsan u digtoonaada,
And warne thou the people, saying, Ye shall go through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir, and they shall be afraide of you: take ye good heede therefore.
5 hana la diririna, waayo, dalkooda idinka siin maayo xataa intii cagta la saaro, maxaa yeelay, Buur Seciir hanti baan u siiyey reer Ceesaw.
Ye shall not prouoke them: for I wil not giue you of their land so much as a foot breadth, because I haue giuen mount Seir vnto Esau for a possession.
6 Wax aad cuntaan lacag kaga iibsada, oo weliba biyo aad cabtaanna lacag kaga iibsada.
Ye shall buy meate of them for money to eate, and ye shall also procure water of them for money to drinke.
7 Waayo, Rabbiga Ilaahiinna ahu waa idinku wada barakeeyey shuqulkii gacantiinna oo dhan, oo isagu wuu yiqiin socodkiinnii aad cidladan soo dhex marteen. Afartankan sannadood ayaa Rabbiga Ilaahinna ahu idinla jiray, oo waxba uma aydaan baahan.
For the Lord thy God hath blessed thee in all the workes of thine hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wildernes, and the Lord thy God hath bene with thee this fourtie yeere, and thou hast lacked nothing.
8 Oo sidaas daraaddeed ayaynu walaalaheen reer Ceesaw oo Buur Seciir degganaa ku soo dhaafnay jidka Caraabaah ee ka soo baxa Eelad iyo Cesyoon Geber. Markaasaynu leexannay oo waxaynu soo marnay jidka cidlada Moo'aab.
And when we were departed from our brethren the children of Esau which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plaine, from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and went by the way of the wildernes of Moab.
9 Markaasaa Rabbigu igu yidhi, Reer Moo'aab ha dhibin, dagaalna ha kula diririn, waayo, dalkooda waxba hanti idiinka siin maayo, maxaa yeelay, Caar waxaan hanti u siiyey reer Luud.
Then the Lord sayd vnto me, Thou shalt not vexe Moab, neither prouoke them to battel: for I wil not giue thee of their land for a possession, because I haue giuen Ar vnto the children of Lot for a possession.
10 (Waagii hore waxaa halkaas degganaan jiray reer Eymiim oo ahaa dad waaweyn oo badan oo dhaadheer sida reer Canaaq.
The Emims dwelt therein in times past, a people great and many, and tall, as the Anakims.
11 Oo kuwaasna sida reer Canaaq ayaa waxaa la odhan jiray Refaa'iim, laakiinse reer Moo'aab waxay iyaga ku magacaabaan reer Eymiim.
They also were taken for gyants as the Anakims: whom the Moabites call Emims.
12 Oo reer Xorna waagii hore waxay degganaan jireen Seciir, laakiinse reer Ceesaw ayaa daba hantiyey oo hortooda ka baabbi'iyey, oo meeshoodii degay, sida reer binu Israa'iil ay ku sameeyeen dalkii ay hantiyeen oo Rabbigu iyaga siiyey.)
The Horims also dwelt in Seir before time, whome the children of Esau chased out and destroyed them before them, and dwelt in their steade: as Israel shall doe vnto the land of his possession, which the Lord hath giuen them.
13 Haddaba kaca oo ka gudba durdurka Sered. Oo markaasaynu ka gudubnay durdurkii Sered.
Now rise vp, sayd I, and get you ouer the riuer Zered: and we went ouer the riuer Zered.
14 Oo wakhtigii u dhexeeyey waagii aan Qaadeesh Barneeca ka soo kacnay iyo markii aan durdurka Sered ka soo gudubnay wuxuu ahaa siddeed iyo soddon sannadood, ilamaa qarnigii dagaalyahannada ahaa oo dhan laga wada baabbi'iyey xerada dhexdeedii, sidii Rabbigu iyaga ugu dhaartay.
The space also wherein we came from Kadesh-barnea, vntill we were come ouer the riuer Zered, was eight and thirtie yeeres, vntill all the generation of the men of warre were wasted out from among the hoste, as the Lord sware vnto them.
15 Oo weliba gacantii Rabbigu iyaga gees bay ka ahayd, si iyaga looga wada baabbi'iyo xerada dhexdeeda jeeray wada baabba'aan.
For in deede the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from among the hoste, till they were consumed.
16 Markii dadkii dagaalyahannada ahaa oo dhammu ay wada baabbe'een oo ay dadka dhexdiisii ka wada le'deen,
So when all the men of warre were consumed and dead from among the people:
17 ayuu Rabbigu ila hadlay oo igu yidhi,
Then the Lord spake vnto me, saying,
18 Maanta waa inaad ka gudubtaa Caar oo ah soohdinta dalka Moo'aab,
Thou shalt goe through Ar the coast of Moab this day:
19 oo markaad u soo dhowaato reer Cammoon, iyaga ha dhibin hana la diririn, waayo, waxba hanti idiinka siin maayo dalka reer Cammoon, maxaa yeelay, halkaas waxaan hanti u siiyey reer Luud.
And thou shalt come neere ouer against the children of Ammon: but shalt not lay siege vnto them, nor moue warre against them: for I will not giue thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession: for I haue giuen it vnto the children of Lot for a possession.
20 (Weliba dalkaasna waxaa lagu tiriyaa inuu yahay dalkii reer Refaa'iim, maxaa yeelay, waagii hore waxaa halkaas degganaan jiray reer Refaa'iim, laakiinse reer Cammoon waxay iyaga ku magacaabaan Samsummiim,
That also was taken for a land of gyants: for gyants dwelt therein afore time, whome the Ammonites called Zamzummims:
21 oo ahaa dad waaweyn oo badan oo dhaadheer sida reer Canaaq, laakiinse Rabbiga ayaa hortooda ka baabbi'iyey, kolkaasay daba hantiyeen oo meeshoodii degeen,
A people that was great, and many, and tall, as the Anakims: but the Lord destroyed them before them, and they succeeded them in their inheritance, and dwelt in their stead:
22 siduu reer Ceesaw oo Buur Seciir deggan u sameeyey markuu hortooda ka baabbi'iyey reer Xor oo ay daba hantiyeen oo ay meeshoodii degeen ilaa maantadan la joogo.
As he did to the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horims before them, and they possessed them, and dwelt in their stead vnto this day.
23 Oo reer Caw oo degganaa tuulooyin tan iyo Gaasa yiil waxaa wada baabbi'iyey oo meeshoodii degay reer Kaftoriim oo ka soo baxay Kaftoor.)
And the Auims which dwelt in Hazarim euen vnto Azzah, the Caphtorims which came out of Caphtor destroyed them, and dwelt in their steade.
24 Haddaba kaca oo guura, oo waxaad ka gudubtaan dooxada Arnoon. Bal eeg, waxaan gacantaada soo geliyey boqorka Xeshboon oo Siixon ah oo reer Amor iyo dalkiisaba. Haddaba waxaad bilowdaa inaad dalka hantidid oo aad isaga la dagaallantaa.
Rise vp therefore, sayd the Lord: take your iourney, and passe ouer the riuer Arnon: beholde, I haue giuen into thy hand Sihon, the Amorite, King of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possesse it and prouoke him to battell.
25 Maanta waxaan bilaabayaa inaan cabsidaada iyo baqdintaada ku soo dejiyo dadyowga samada ka hooseeya oo dhan, oo waxay maqli doonaan warkaaga, kolkaasay gariiri doonaan oo kaa nixi doonaan.
This day wil I begin to send thy feare and thy dread, vpon all people vnder the whole heauen, which shall heare thy fame, and shall tremble and quake before thee.
26 Oo anigu waxaan cidladii Qedemood uga diray boqorkii Xeshboon oo Siixon ahaa wargeeyayaal hadallo nabdeed sida, oo waxaan ku idhi,
Then I sent messengers out of the wildernes of Kedemoth vnto Sihon King of Heshbon, with wordes of peace, saying,
27 Dalkaaga aan dhex maree. Waxaan iska marayaa jidka weyn, oo u leexan maayo xagga midigta iyo xagga bidixda toona.
Let me passe through thy land: I will go by the hie way: I will neither turne vnto the right hand nor to the left.
28 Wax aan cuno lacag igaga iibso, oo biyo aan cabbana lacag iga siiso, haddaba waxaa keliyahoo aad ii yeeshaa inaan dalka cagahayga ku dhex maro,
Thou shalt sell me meate for money, for to eate, and shalt giue me water for money for to drinke: onely I will go through on my foote,
29 oo ii yeel siday ii yeeleen reer Ceesaw oo deggan Buur Seciir iyo reer Moo'aab oo deggan Caar, ilamaa aan Webi Urdun uga gudbo dalkii Rabbiga Ilaahayaga ahu na siinayo.
(As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did vnto me) vntill I be come ouer Iorden, into the land which the Lord our God giueth vs.
30 Laakiinse Siixon oo ahaa boqorkii Xeshboon inooma dayn inaan dalkiisa marno, waayo, Rabbiga Ilaahaaga ah ayaa ruuxiisa qallafiyey oo qalbigiisana wuxuu ka dhigay wax adag, si uu isaga u soo geliyo gacantaada siday maanta tahay.
But Sihon the King of Heshbon would not let vs passe by him: for the Lord thy God had hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, because hee would deliuer him into thine hand, as appeareth this day.
31 Markaasaa Rabbigu wuxuu igu yidhi, Bal eeg, waxaan bilaabay inaan Siixon iyo dalkiisaba gacantaada soo geliyo, haddaba waxaad bilowdaa inaad hantidid aad dalkiisa dhaxashide.
And the Lord sayd vnto me, Beholde, I haue begun to giue Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possesse and inherite his land.
32 Markaasaa Siixon iyo dadkiisii oo dhammu inagu soo kaceen oo waxay inagula dirireen Yahas.
Then came out Sihon to meete vs, him selfe with all his people to fight at Iahaz.
33 Oo Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ahu isaguu soo geliyey gacanteenna, oo innana waynu dilnay isagii iyo wiilashiisii iyo dadkiisii oo dhanba.
But the Lord our God deliuered him into our power, and we smote him, and his sonnes, and all his people.
34 Oo waagaasaynu wada qabsannay magaalooyinkiisii oo dhan, oo magaalooyinkii la degganaa oo dhanna waynu wada baabbi'innay, iyo dumarkii iyo dhallaankiiba, cidna kama aynu reebin.
And we tooke all his cities the same time, and destroyed euery citie, men, and women, and children: we let nothing remaine.
35 Laakiin waxaynu booli ahaan u qaadannay xoolihii iyo alaabtii magaalooyinka aynu qabsannay.
Onely the cattell we tooke to our selues, and the spoyle of the cities which we tooke,
36 Oo magaalo inagu adag laguma arag tan iyo Carooceer oo ku taal dooxada Arnoon qarkeeda, iyo tan iyo magaalada dooxada ku dhex taal iyo tan iyo Gilecaad, maxaa yeelay, Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ah ayaa kulligood gacanta inoo geliyey.
From Aroer, which is by the banke of the riuer of Arnon, and from the citie that is vpon the riuer, euen vnto Gilead: there was not one citie that escaped vs: for the Lord our God deliuered vp all before vs.
37 Laakiinse waxaa keliyahoo aadan u soo dhowaan dalkii reer Cammoon, iyo Webi Yabboq dhinaciisa oo dhan, iyo magaalooyinka dalka buuraha leh, iyo meel alla meeshii uu Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ahu inoo diiday.
Onely vnto the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not, nor vnto any place of the riuer Iabbok, nor vnto the cities in the mountaines, nor vnto whatsoeuer the Lord our God forbade vs.
