Daanyeel 11

1 Daariyus oo reer Maaday ahaa, sannaddiisii kowaad ayaan u istaagay inaan caawiyo oo xoogaysiiyo isaga.

I, therefore, in the first year of Darius the Mede, was at my station to strengthen and embolden him;

2 Oo haatan runtaan kuu sheegayaa, Bal ogow, weliba saddex boqor baa Faaris ka kici doonee, kan afraadna kulligood waa ka wada maal badnaan doonaa, oo markuu maalkiisa aad ugu xoogaysto, ayuu dhammaan boqortooyada Gariigta ku kicin doonaa.

and, now, the truth, I will tell thee: —Lo! there are, yet three kings, to arise—belonging to Persia, and, the fourth, will amass greater riches than they all, and, when he hath strengthened himself in his riches, the whole, will stir up, the kingdom of Greece.

3 Oo waxaa kici doona boqor xoog badan, oo talo weyn ku talin doona, hadba siduu doonayana yeeli doonaa.

And so a hero king, will arise, —and wield great authority, and do according to his own pleasure;

4 Oo markuu kaco, ayaa boqortooyadiisu jabi doontaa, waxaana loo kala qaybin doonaa afarta jaho oo samada, laakiin farcankiisa iyo sida dowladnimadiisu ahayd toona looma qaybin doono, waayo, boqortooyadiisa waa la rujin doonaa, oo waxaa yeelan doona kuwo kale oo aan kuwan ahayn.

but, when he hath arisen, his kingdom, shall be broken in pieces, and be divided, toward the four winds of the heavens, —but not to his own posterity, nor according to his own authority which he wielded, for his kingdom, shall be uprooted, even for others besides these.

5 Oo boqorka koonfureed ayaa xoog yeelan doona, oo mid amiirradiisa ka mid ah ayaa ka sii xoog badnaan doona, wuxuuna yeelan doonaa dowladnimo, oo dowladnimadiisuna waxay noqon doontaa dowladnimo weyn.

But a king of the south, will become strong, even from among his rulers, —and will prevail against him, and have authority, a great authority, shall his authority be.

6 Sannado dabadoodna way isku darsami doonaan kulligood, oo boqorka koonfureed gabadhiisa ayaa u iman doonta boqorka woqooyi inay heshiis la dhigato; laakiinse gacanteedu xoog ma sii yeelan doonto; isaga iyo gacantiisuna sii ma taagnaan doonaan, laakiinse waa la sii dayn doonaa iyada, iyo kuwii keenay, iyo kii dhalay, iyo kii waayahaas iyada xoogayn jirayba.

And, at the end of years, they will league together, yea, the daughter of the king of the south, will go in unto the king of the north, to make peace, but she shall not retain strength of arm, neither shall he stand, nor his arm, but she shall be delivered up—she herself, and they who brought her in, and he who begat her, and he that strengthened her in the times.

7 Laakiinse biqil ka baxay jiriddii ay ka soo farcantay ayaa meeshiisa istaagi doona oo u iman doona ciidanka, oo wuxuu soo geli doonaa boqorka woqooyi qalcaddiisa, wuuna ka gees ahaan doonaa iyaga, kolkaasuu ka adkaan doonaa.

But one will stand up from the sprout of her roots, [in] his stead, —and he will enter the army, and enter into a fortress of the king of the north, and deal with them and shew himself strong;

8 Oo weliba wuxuu xagga Masar qaadan doonaa ilaahyadooda, iyo sanamyadooda la shubay, iyo weelashoodii wanaagsanaa ee laga sameeyey lacagta iyo dahabka, oo intii dhawr sannadood ah ayuu ka hadhi doonaa boqorka woqooyi.

yea, even their gods, with their molten images, with their delightful vessels of silver and gold, with a host of captives, will he bring into Egypt, —and, he, will stand more, years, than the king of the north;

9 Oo wuxuu iman doonaa boqortooyada boqorka koonfureed, laakiin waddankiisuu ku noqon doonaa.

so will the king of the south, enter into the kingdom, and then return unto his own soil.

10 Wiilashiisuna way dagaallami doonaan, oo waxay urursan doonaan ciidan faro badan oo imanaya, oo dhulka qarqinaya, oo dhex maraya, markaasuu soo noqon doonaa oo la dagaallami doonaa ilaa qalcaddiisa.

But, his sons, will rouse themselves to war, and gather together a multitude of large armies, but he will come on and on, and overflow and pass through, —and will return and wage war, up to his fortress.

11 Oo boqorka koonfureed wuu cadhoon doonaa, kolkaasuu soo bixi doonaa oo la dagaallami doonaa boqorka woqooyi, oo wuxuu soo bixin doonaa dad faro badan, dadka faraha badanna isagaa gacanta loo gelin doonaa.

Then will the king of the south, be enraged, and go forth and fight with him, with the king of the north, —and will raise a great multitude, but the multitude, will be delivered, into his hand.

12 Oo dadka faraha badanna waa la qaadi doonaa, qalbigiisuna wuu kibri doonaa; oo tobanyaal kun buu hoos u tuuri doonaa, mase adkaan doono.

And, when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart, will be uplifted, —and he will cause tens of thousands to fall, but will not conquer.

13 Oo markaasaa waxaa soo noqon doona boqorkii woqooyi, oo wuxuu soo bixin doonaa dad faro badan oo kuwii hore ka sii badan; oo sannado dabadood wuxuu la iman doonaa ciidan badan iyo maal badan.

Then will the king of the north again raise a multitude, greater than the first, —and, at the end of the times—some years, he will come on and on with a great army, and with great substance.

14 Oo wakhtigaasna dad badan baa ka gees noqon doona boqorka koonfureed; oo weliba kuwa wax dulma oo dadkaaga ku dhex jira ayaa kici doona si ay riyadu u dhisanto; laakiinse way dhici doonaan.

And, in those times, many, will rise against the king of the south, —and, the sons of the oppressors of thy people, will exalt themselves to confirm the vision, but will be overthrown.

15 Sidaasuu boqorkii woqooyi u iman doonaa, oo tuulmo buu tuuli doonaa, oo magaalo deyr lehna wuu qaadan doonaa, ciidanka koonfureedna isma hor taagi doonaan, iyo dadkiisa uu doortay toona, oo xoog ay isku hor taagaanna ma jiri doono.

Then will come in the king of the north, and cast up a rampart, and capture a city of strongholds, —and, the arms of the south, will not rise, nor the people of his chosen ones, and there shall be no strength to rise.

16 Laakiin kan isaga ku kaca ayaa hadba siduu doonayo yeeli doona, oo ninna isma hor taagi doono. Oo wuxuu dhex istaagi doonaa dhulka quruxda leh, gacantiisana waxaa ku jiri doona baabbi'in.

So shall he that cometh against him do according to his own pleasure, and, none, shall stand before him, —therefore will he take his stand in the beautiful land, and it will languish and be exhausted in his hand.

17 Inuu xoogga boqortooyadiisa oo dhan la yimaado aawadeed ayuu wejigiisa u jeedin doonaa, waxaana la jiri doona kuwa qumman, markaasuu siduu doonayo yeeli doonaa; oo waxaa la siin doonaa gabadha dumarka si uu u kharribo, laakiin ma ay istaagi doonto, tiisiina ma ay noqon doonto.

Then will he set his face to enter, with the might of all his kingdom, and, equitable terms with him, will make, —and, a daughter of women, will he give him to corrupt her, but she will not remain, nor, his, shall she become.

18 Taas dabadeedna wuxuu u jeesan doonaa xagga gasiiradaha, kuwo badanna wuu qaadan doonaa, laakiinse mid amiir ah ayaa caydii uu caayay joojin doona; oo weliba caydiisii isaguu ku celin doonaa.

Then will he turn his face to the Coastlands, and will capture many, —but a commander, will bring to an end, his reproach against himself, that, his reproach, return not unto him.

19 Markaasuu haddana u jeesan doona xagga qalcadaha waddankiisa, laakiinse wuu turunturoon doonaa oo dhici doonaa, lamana heli doono.

Therefore will he turn his face towards the fortresses of his land, —but he shall stagger and fall, and shall not be found.

20 Dabadeedna waxaa meeshiisii istaagi doona mid ka dhigi doona in cashuurqaade boqortooyada ammaanteeda dhex maro, laakiin dhawr maalmood dabadood ayaa la jebin doonaa, lagumase jebin doono cadho ama dagaal.

Then will rise up in his stead, one causing an exactor to pass through the ornament of the kingdom, —but, in a few days, shall he be broken in pieces, not with anger, nor in battle.

21 Oo waxaa meeshiisii qaadan doona mid la quudhsado, oo aan la siinin murwaddii boqortooyada, laakiin wuxuu iman doonaa wakhtiga nabadgelyada, oo boqortooyadana sasabashuu ku qaadan doonaa.

Then will rise up in his stead, one despised, and they will not lay upon him the dignity of the kingdom, —but he will come in unexpectedly, and strengthen the kingdom by flatteries;

22 Oo iyaga hortiisa ayaa laga xaaqi doonaa, sida daadku wax u qarqiyo oo kale, waana la jebin doonaa iyagii, iyo weliba amiirkii axdigaba.

and, the arms of an overflowing flood, will sweep all before him, and they shall be broken in pieces, —moreover also, the prince of a covenant;

23 Oo markii wacad lala dhigto dabadeed ayuu si khiyaano ah ku shaqaysan doonaa, waayo, dad yar buu la soo bixi doonaa, wuuna xoog badnaan doonaa.

and, by reason of the leaguing against him, he will work deceitfully, and will come up and become strong, with a small nation.

24 Wakhtiga nabadgelyada ayuu iman doonaa xataa meelaha gobolka ugu barwaaqo badan, markaasuu wuxuu samayn doonaa wax aan awowayaashiis iyo abkowyadiis midkoodna samayn; oo wuxuu ku dhex firdhin doonaa wax la boobay iyo dhac iyo maal: oo intii wakhti ayuu wax qalcadaha ka gees ah ku fikiri doonaa.

Unexpectedly, even into the rich places of the province, will he enter, and will do what neither his fathers nor his father’s fathers had done, prey and spoil and substance—among them, will he scatter, —and, against strongholds, will he devise plots even until a (convenient) time.

25 Markaasuu xooggiisa iyo geesinimadiisa ku kicin doonaa boqorka koonfureed, isagoo ciidan badan wata, boqorka koonfureedna isaguu la dagaallami doona isagoo wata ciidan aad u xoog badan, laakiinse isma uu taagi doono, maxaa yeelay, wax ka gees ah bay ku fikiri doonaan.

Then will he stir up his strength and his heart, against the king of the south, with a great army, and, the king of the south, will wage war, with a great and exceedingly mighty army, —but will make no stand, for they will devise against him plots;

26 Oo kuwii quudkiisii cunay ayaa jebin doona isaga, oo ciidankiisuna dalkuu qarqin doonaa, oo kuwo badan baa dhici doona iyagoo la laayay.

and, they who have been eating his delicacies, will break him in pieces, and, his army, will he overwhelm like a flood, —and many wounded, will fall.

27 Oo labadaas boqorba qalbiyadoodu waxay ka shaqayn doonaan belaayo, oo miis keliya ayay been isugu sheegi doonaan; laakiinse ma ay hagaagi doonto; waayo, weliba ugudambaystu waxay noqon doontaa wakhtigii la xugmay.

Now, as for the two kings, their heart, will be set on acting wickedly, and, at one table, will they speak, falsehood, —but it shall not succeed, for yet is the end for an appointed time.

28 Markaasuu dhulkiisii ku noqon doonaa isagoo maal badan wata, qalbigiisuna ka gees buu noqon doonaa axdiga quduuska ah; siduu doonayo ayuu yeeli doonaa oo dhulkiisuu ku noqon doonaa.

So then he will return to his own land, with great substance, with, his heart, set upon a holy covenant; yea he will act with effect, and return to his own land.

29 Wakhtigii loo xugmay ayuu noqon doonaa oo koonfurtuu iman doonaa; laakiinse wakhtiga ugu dambaysta ma noqon doono sidii kii hore,

At the appointed time, will he again enter the south, —but it shall not be like the former, nor like the latter.

30 waayo, doonniyaha Kitiim ayaa soo weerari doona; oo sidaas daraaddeed ayuu u quusan doonaa, oo u noqon doonaa, oo wuxuu u cadhoon doonaa axdiga quduuska ah oo siduu doonayo ayuu yeeli doonaa, oo xataa wuu noqon doonaa, wuuna u fiirsan doonaa kuwa ka taga axdiga quduuska ah.

Then will come in against him the ships of Cyprus, and he will be disheartened, and again have indignation against a holy covenant, and will act with effect, —and again gain intelligence, concerning them who are forsaking a holy covenant.

31 Oo ciidan baa isaga la gees noqon doona, oo waxay nijaasayn doonaan meesha quduuska ah ee qalcadda leh, oo waxay qaadan doonaan qurbaanka joogtada, oo waxay qotomin doonaan waxa baas oo wax baabbi'iya.

And, arms, from him, will arise, —and will profane the sanctuary, the fortress, and will set aside the continual [ascending-sacrifice], and place the horrid abomination that astoundeth.

32 Oo kuwa wax baas oo axdiga ka gees ah sameeya ayuu sasabasho ku qalloocin doonaa; laakiinse dadka Ilaahooda yaqaan way xoog badnaan doonaan, oo waxyaalo waaweyn bay samayn doonaan.

And, them who are ready to deal lawlessly with a covenant, will he make impious by flatteries, —but, the people who know their God, will be strong and act with effect.

33 Oo kuwa xigmadda leh oo dadka ku dhex jira, kuwo badan bay wax bari doonaan; laakiinse maalmo badan bay ku dhici doonaan seef, iyo olol, iyo maxbuusnimo, iyo dhac.

And, they who make the people wise, will impart understanding to the many, —yet shall they be brought low, by sword and by flame, by captivity and by prey, for some days;

34 Haddaba markay dhacaan baa lagu caawin doonaa caawimaad yar, laakiinse qaar badan baa iyagoo sasabanaya ku darsami doona.

but, when they are brought low, they shall be helped with a little help, —and many, will join themselves unto them, by flatteries;

35 Oo qaarkooda xigmadda leh ayaa dhici doona, si loo tijaabiyo, oo loo daahiriyo, oo loo caddeeyo, ilaa wakhtiga ugudambaysta, maxaa yeelay, waa weli wakhtigii la xugmay.

and, of them who make wise, some shall be brought low, to refine them, and to purify and make white, up to the time of the end, —for yet is it for an appointed time.

36 Oo boqorku siduu doonuu yeeli doonaa; wuuna isa sarraysiin doonaa oo iska weynaysiin doonaa ilaah kasta, oo waxyaalo yaab miidhan ah ayuu kaga hadli doonaa Ilaaha ilaahyada, wuuna iska barwaaqoobi doonaa ilaa ay cadhadu buuxsanto; waayo, wixii la goostay ayaa la samayn doonaa.

And the king, will do according to his own pleasure, and will exalt himself, and magnify himself against every GOD, yea, against the GOD of GODS, will he speak wonderful things, —and will succeed, until exhausted is the indignation, for, what is decreed, must be done;

37 Umana fiirsan doono ilaahyadii awowayaashiis, ama waxa dumarku jecel yihiin, oo ilaahna uma fiirsan doono, waayo, wuu iska weynaysiin doonaa wax kasta.

and, for the god of his fathers, will he have no regard, nor, for the delight of women, nor for any god, will he have regard, —for, against all, will he magnify himself.

38 Laakiinse meeshiisuu ku cisayn doonaa ilaaha qalcadaha; oo ilaah aanay awowayaashiis garanayn ayuu ku cisayn doonaa dahab iyo lacag iyo dhagaxyo qaali ah, iyo waxyaalo fiican.

Howbeit, to the god of the fortresses, in his place, will he give honour, —even to a god whom his fathers, knew not, will he give honour, with gold and with silver and with precious stones and with articles of delight.

39 Oo ilaah qalaad caawimaaddiis ayuu wax ku samayn doonaa qalcadaha ugu xoogga badan, oo mid kasta oo isaga aqoonsada wuxuu u kordhin doonaa ammaan; wuxuuna ka dhigi doonaa inay xukumaan kuwo badan, dhulkana abaal buu ugu kala qaybin doonaa.

And he will prepare, for the strongholds of the fortress of the sea, the people of an alien god, whom he will acknowledge—will greatly honour, —and will give them authority over the many, and, the soil, will he apportion for a price.

40 Wakhtiga ugu dambaysta ayaa boqorka koonfureed la dagaallami doonaa isaga, oo boqorka woqooyina wuxuu ugu iman doonaa sida dabayl cirwareen ah, isagoo wata gaadhifardood, iyo fardooley, iyo doonniyo badan, wuxuuna soo dhex geli doonaa waddammada, wuuna qarqin doonaa, oo dhex mari doonaa.

And, in the time of the end, will the king of the south, push at him, and the king of the north, will rush against him, with chariots and with horsemen, and with many ships, —and he will enter the lands, and overwhelm and pass over;

41 Wuxuu kaloo dhex geli doonaa dhulka quruxda leh, oo waddammo badan oo kalena waa la afgembiyi doonaa, laakiin waxaa gacantiisa laga samatabbixin doonaa Edom, iyo Moo'aab, iyo kuwa waaweyn oo reer Cammoon.

yea he will enter the beautiful land, and, many [lands], shall be laid low, —but, these, shall be delivered out of his hand, Edom and Moab, and the first portion of the sons of Ammon;

42 Oo haddana gacantiisuu waddammada ku fidin doonaa, oo dalka Masarna ma baxsan doono.

yea he will thrust forth his hand against the lands, —and, the land of Egypt, shall have no deliverance;

43 Laakiinse xoog buu u yeelan doonaa khasnadaha dahabka iyo lacagta ah, iyo waxyaalaha qaaliga ah ee Masar oo dhan. Oo weliba dadka Liibiya, iyo dadka Itoobiyana tallaabooyinkiisay daba geli doonaan.

and he will have authority over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the delightful things of Egypt, —with Libyans and Ethiopians among his followers;

44 Laakiinse warar bari iyo woqooyi ka yimid ayaa ka welwelin doona isaga, markaasuu isagoo aad u cadhaysan u soo bixi doonaa inuu kuwo badan baabbi'iyo oo idleeyo.

but, tidings, will terrify him, out of the east, and out of the north, —therefore will he go forth with great fury, to destroy and to devote many;

45 Oo wuxuu teendhooyinkiisii boqornimo ka taagi doonaa meel u dhaxaysa badda iyo buurta qurxoon oo quduuska ah; laakiin mar buu dhammaadkiisu iman doonaa; oo ninna ma caawin doono.

and will plant his palace-home between the seas, towards the beautiful holy mountain, but shall come to his end, with none to help him.
