< Falimaha Rasuullada 2 >
1 Oo kolkii maalintii Bentekoste la gaadhay, meel bay kulligood wada joogeen.
In the course of the Festival at the close of the Harvest the disciples had all met together,
2 Oo waxaa filanla'aan samada ka yimid sanqadh sida dabayl xoog leh oo aad u dhacaysa, oo waxay buuxisay gurigii ay fadhiyeen oo dhan.
when suddenly there came from the heavens a noise like that of a strong wind rushing by; it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.
3 Markaasaa carrabbo u kala qaybsamaya sida dab oo kale iyaga u muuqday oo ku dul fadhiistay midkood kasta.
Then there appeared tongues of what seemed to be flame, separating, so that one settled on each of them;
4 Kolkaasaa waxaa kulligood ka wada buuxsamay Ruuxa Quduuska ah, oo waxay bilaabeen inay afaf kale ku hadlaan sidii Ruuxu iyaga u siiyey hadalka.
and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and began to speak with strange ‘tongues’ as the Spirit prompted their utterances.
5 Markaas waxaa Yeruusaalem joogay Yuhuud oo ahaayeen niman cibaado leh oo ka yimid quruun kasta oo samada hoosteeda joogta.
Now there were then staying in Jerusalem religious Jews from every country in the world;
6 Oo markii sanqadhaas la maqlay, dadkii badnaa ayaa isu yimid, wayna yaabeen, maxaa yeelay, nin kastaa wuxuu maqlay iyagoo afkiisa ku hadlaya.
and, when this sound was heard, numbers of people collected, in the greatest excitement, because each of them heard the disciples speaking in his own language.
7 Oo dhammaantood way wada nexeen oo yaabeen, oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Bal eeg, kuwan hadlaya oo dhammu miyaanay reer Galili ahayn?
They were utterly amazed, and kept asking in astonishment: “What! Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
8 Sidee baa midkeen waluba u maqlaa iyagoo ku hadlaya afkeenna aynu ku dhalannay?
Then how is it that we each of us hear them in our own native language?
9 Innagoo ah reer Bartiya iyo Mediya iyo Ceelaam, iyo kuwa deggan Mesobotamiya, iyo Yahuudiya iyo Kabbadokiya, iyo Bontos iyo Aasiya,
Some of us are Parthians, some Medes, some Elamites; and some of us live in Mesopotamia, in Judea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Roman Asia,
10 iyo Farugiya iyo Bamfuliya, iyo Masar iyo meelaha Liibiya oo Kuranaya ku wareegsan, iyo ajanabiyo Rooma ka yimid oo ah Yuhuud iyo kuwa raacsan labadaba,
in Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the districts of Libya adjoining Cyrene; some of us are visitors from Rome,
11 iyo reer Kereetee iyo Carabta, waxaynu maqlaynaa iyagoo ku hadlaya afafkeenna oo ka hadlaya Ilaah waxyaalihiisa waaweyn.
either Jews by birth or converts, and some are Cretans and Arabians — yet we all alike hear them speaking in our own tongues of the great things that God has done.”
12 Markaasay wada yaabeen oo shakiyeen, oo waxay isku yidhaahdeen, Tani micneheedu waa maxay?
They were all utterly amazed and bewildered. “What does it mean?” they asked one another.
13 Qaar kalena waa ku qosleen oo waxay yidhaahdeen, Kuwan waxaa ka buuxa khamri cusub.
But there were some who said with a sneer: “They have had too much new wine.”
14 Laakiin Butros intuu koob-iyo-tobankii isla taagay, ayuu sare u qaaday codkiisa oo ku yidhi iyaga, Niman yahow reer Yahuudiya iyo dhammaantiinan Yeruusaalem degganow, tan ogaada oo hadalladayda dhegaysta.
Then Peter, surrounded by the eleven other Apostles, stood up, and, raising his voice, addressed the crowd. “Men of Judea,” he began, “and all you who are staying in Jerusalem, let me tell you what this means. Mark well my words.
15 Waayo, kuwanu ma sakhraansana sidaad u malaynaysaan inay sakhraansan yihiin; maxaa yeelay, tanu waa saacaddii saddexaad ee maalmeed.
These men are not drunk, as you suppose; for it is only now nine in the morning! No!
16 Laakiin waxanu waa wixii lagaga dhex hadlay nebi Yoo'eel,
This is what is spoken of in the prophet Joel —
17 Ilaah baa yidhi, Maalmaha ugu dambaysta waxyaalahanu waa noqon doonaan, Ruuxayga ayaan ku shubi doonaa dad oo dhan; Oo wiilashiinna iyo hablihiinnu wax bay sii sheegi doonaan, Raggiinna dhallinyarada ahuna wax bay arki doonaan, Odayaashiinnuna riyooyin bay ku riyoon doonaan;
‘It shall come about in the last days,’ God says, ‘That I will pour out my Spirit on all mankind; Your sons and your daughters shall become Prophets, Your young men shall see visions, And your old men dream dreams;
18 Haah, oo maalmahaas addoommadayda, rag iyo dumarba, Ruuxaygaan ku shubi doonaa, iyaguna wax bay sii sheegi doonaan.
Yes, even on the slaves — for they are mine — both men and women, I will in those days pour out my Spirit, And they shall become Prophets;
19 Oo waxaan samada sare ka muujin doonaa yaabab, Dhulka hoosena waxaan ka muujin doonaa calaamooyin, Kuwaas oo ah dhiig iyo dab iyo uumiskii qiiqa.
And I will show wonders in the heavens above, And signs on the earth below — Blood and fire and mist of smoke;
20 Qorraxdu waxay u beddelmi doontaa gudcur, Dayaxuna wuxuu u beddelmi doonaa dhiig, Intaanay iman maalinta Rabbigu, Taas oo ah maalin weyn oo caan ah.
The sun shall become darkness, And the moon blood-red, Before the Day of the Lord comes — that great and awful day.
21 Oo waxay noqon doontaa in ku alla kii magaca Rabbiga ku dhawaaqaa, uu badbaadi doono.
Then shall every one who invokes the Name of the Lord be saved.’
22 Rag yahow reer binu Israa'iil, hadalladan maqla; Ciisihii reer Naasared oo ahaa nin Ilaah idiinku caddeeyey shuqullo xoog leh iyo yaabab iyo calaamooyin oo Ilaah ku sameeyey isaga gacantiisa idinka dhexdiinna, sidaad idinka qudhiinnuba u og tihiin,
Men of Israel, listen to what I am saying. Jesus of Nazareth, a man whose mission from God to you was proved by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God showed among you through him, as you know full well —
23 markii isaga lagu gacangeliyey taladii Ilaah goostay oo uu hore u ogaa, gacanta sharcilaawayaasha ayaad ku qabateen, waadna ku qodobteen iskutallaabta oo disheen.
He, I say, in accordance with God’s definite plan and with his previous knowledge, was betrayed, and you, by the hands of lawless men, nailed him to a cross and put him to death.
24 Isaga Ilaah baa sara kiciyey, oo ka furfuray xanuunkii dhimashada, maxaa yeelay, dhimashadu ma xajin karin.
But God released him from the pangs of death and raised him to life, it being impossible for death to retain its hold upon him.
25 Waayo, Daa'uud baa isaga ka hadlay, oo yidhi, Had iyo jeerba Rabbigaan hortayda ku arki jiray, Maxaa yeelay, midigtayduu joogaa si aan la ii dhaqaajin.
Indeed it was to him that David was referring when he said — ‘I have had the Lord ever before my eyes, For he stands at my right hand, that I should not be disquieted.
26 Taas aawadeed qalbigaygu waa farxay, carrabkayguna waa reyreeyey; Weliba jidhkaygu rajuu ku nasan doonaa.
Therefore my heart was cheered, and my tongue told its delight; Yes, even my body, too, will rest in hope;
27 Maxaa yeelay, naftayda Haadees kuma dayn doontid, Kaaga Quduuska ahna uma dayn doontid inuu qudhun arko. (Hadēs )
For thou wilt not abandon my soul to the Place of Death, Nor surrender me, your holy one, to undergo corruption. (Hadēs )
28 Waxaad i tustay jidadka nolosha, Hortaadana farxad baad iga buuxin doontaa.
Thou have shown me the path to life, Thou wilt fill me with gladness in your presence.’
29 Walaalayaalow, waxaan si bayaan ah idiinku sheegi karaa in awowe Daa'uud dhintay, lana aasay, xabaashiisuna ilaa maanta waa inagu dhex taal.
Brothers, I can speak to you the more confidently about the Patriarch David, because he is dead and buried, and his tomb is here among us to this very day.
30 Haddaba isagoo nebi ahaa oo ogaa in Ilaah dhaar ugu dhaartay isaga inuu dhashiisa midkood carshigiisa ku fadhiisin doono,
David, then, Prophet as he was, knowing that God ‘had solemnly sworn to him to set one of his descendants upon his throne,’ looked into the future,
31 wuxuu hore u arkay oo ka hadlay Masiixa sarakiciddiisa inaan isaga Haadees lagu dayn, jidhkiisuna qudhun arag. (Hadēs )
and referred to the resurrection of the Christ when he said that ‘he had not been abandoned to the Place of Death, nor had his body undergone corruption.’ (Hadēs )
32 Ciisahan Ilaah baa sara kiciyey, annagoo dhammuna markhaatiyaal baan ka wada nahay.
It was this Jesus, whom God raised to life; and of that we are ourselves all witnesses.
33 Haddaba isagoo Ilaah midigtiisa sare loogu qaaday, oo Aabbaha ka helay ballankii Ruuxa Quduuska ahaa, ayuu soo shubay waxan oo aad arkaysaan oo maqlaysaan.
And now that he has been exalted to the right hand of God, and has received from the Father the promised gift of the Holy Spirit, he has begun to pour out that gift, as you yourselves now see and hear.
34 Maxaa yeelay, Daa'uud samooyinka kor uma aadin; laakiin isaga qudhiisaa leh, Rabbigu wuxuu Sayidkayga ku yidhi, Midigtayda fadhiiso
It was not David who went up into Heaven; for he himself says — ‘The Lord said to my master: “Sit on my right hand,
35 Ilaa aan cadaawayaashaada cagahaaga hoostooda geliyo.
Till I put your enemies as a footstool under thy feet.”’
36 Reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu aad ha u ogaadeen in Ilaah ka dhigay Rabbi iyo Masiixba Ciisahan aad iskutallaabta ku qodobteen.
So let the whole nation of Israel know beyond all doubt, that God has made him both Lord and Christ — this very Jesus whom you crucified.”
37 Markay taas maqleen ayaa qalbiga laga wareemay, markaasay ku yidhaahdeen Butros iyo rasuulladii kale, Walaalayaalow, maxaannu falnaa?
When the people heard this, they were conscience-smitten, and said to Peter and the rest of the Apostles: “Brothers, what can we do?”
38 Markaasaa Butros iyagii ku yidhi, Toobadkeena, oo midkiin kasta ha lagu baabtiiso magaca Ciise Masiix dembidhaafkiinna aawadiis, oo waxaad heli doontaan hadiyadda ah Ruuxa Quduuska ah.
“Repent,” answered Peter, “and be baptized every one of you in the Faith of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
39 Maxaa yeelay, ballanka waxaa leh idinka iyo carruurtiinna iyo kuwa fog oo dhan in alla intii Rabbiga Ilaaheenna ahu u yeedho.
For the promise is for you and for your children, and also for all those now far away, who may be called by the Lord our God.”
40 Hadallo kaloo badan ayuu markhaati ahaan ugu waaniyey isagoo leh, Naftiinna ka badbaadiya qarnigan qalloocan.
With many other words Peter enforced his teaching, while the burden of his exhortations was — “Save yourselves from the perverse spirit of this age.”
41 Markaasaa kuwii hadalkiisii aqbalay la baabtiisay, oo waxaa maalintaas lagu daray iyaga abbaaraha saddex kun oo qof.
So those who accepted his teaching were baptized, and about three thousand people joined the disciples on that day alone.
42 Oo waxay ku sii adkaysteen rasuulladu waxay bari jireen iyo xidhiidhka ka dhexeeyey iyaga, iyo kibista jebinteeda iyo tukasho.
They devoted themselves to the teaching of the Apostles and to the Common Life of the Church, to the Breaking of the Bread and to the Prayers.
43 Oo naf kasta cabsi baa gashay; oo rasuulladii waxay sameeyeen yaabab iyo calaamooyin badan.
A deep impression was made upon every one, and many wonders and signs were done at the hands of the Apostles.
44 Oo kuwii rumaystay oo dhammu waa wada jireen, wax walubana waa ka wada dhexeeyeen;
All who became believers in Christ held everything for the common use;
45 oo intay iibiyeen waxyaalahoodii iyo alaabtoodiiba ayay dhammaan u wada qaybiyeen sidii nin kasta baahidiisu ahayd.
they sold their property and their goods, and shared the proceeds among them all, according to their individual needs.
46 Oo maalin walba iyagoo isku wada qalbi ah ayay macbudka ku jiri jireen, oo kibistana guryahooday ku jejebin jireen, cuntadoodana farxad iyo qalbi daacad ah ayay ku cuni jireen.
Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the Temple Courts, and to the Breaking of Bread at their homes, while they partook of their food in simple-hearted gladness, praising God, and winning the good-will of all the people.
47 Ilaah bay ammaani jireen, oo dadka oo dhammuna waa u bogay iyaga. Ilaahna maalin walba kuwa badbaadaya ayuu ku dari jiray.
And the Lord daily added to their company those who were in the path of Salvation.
