And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and Greeks believed.
2 Laakiin Yuhuuddii caasiyiinta ahayd ayaa waxay dadkii aan Yuhuudda ahayn ku kiciyeen oo si xun ugu direen walaalihii.
But the Jews that disbelieved stirred up and embittered the minds of the gentiles against the brethren.
3 Haddaba wakhti dheer ayay halkaas joogeen iyagoo geesinimo ugu hadlaya Rabbiga, kaasoo markhaati u furay ereyga nimcadiisa, wuxuuna siiyey inay calaamooyin iyo yaabab gacmahooda ku sameeyaan.
They abode therefore a long time there, speaking boldly in reliance on the Lord, who gave testimony to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be wrought by their a hands.
4 Markaasaa dadkii badnaa oo magaaladu kala qaybsameen, oo qaar waxay raaceen Yuhuudda, qaarna rasuulladii.
But the multitude of the city was divided; and some held with the Jews, and some with the apostles.
5 Markii dadkii aan Yuhuudda ahayn iyo Yuhuuddaba, iyaga iyo taliyayaashoodii, ay ku yaaceen inay caayaan oo dhagxiyaan,
And when a movement was made both of the gentiles, and the Jews with their rulers, to abuse and stone them,
6 ayay garteen, oo waxay u carareen magaalooyinkii la odhan jiray Luka'oniya iyo Lustara iyo Derbe iyo dhulka ku wareegsan;
they became aware of it, and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra and Derbe, and the neighboring country;
7 meeshaasna ayay injiilka ku wacdiyeen dadka.
and they were publishing the glad tidings there.
8 Lustara waxaa fadhiyey nin aan cagaha xoog ku lahayn, oo tan iyo markuu uurka hooyadii ka dhashay curyaan ahaa, kaasoo aan weligiis socon.
And at Lystra there sat a certain man who had not the use of his feet, a cripple from his birth, who never had walked.
9 Isagu wuxuu maqlay Bawlos oo hadlaya, kaasoo indhaha aad ugu fiiriyey, gartayna inuu rumaysad uu ku bogsan karo leeyahay,
This man heard Paul speaking; who looking steadily at him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,

said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped up and walked.

And the multitudes, seeing what Paul had done, lifted up their voices, saying, in the language of Lycaonia, The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men.
12 Barnabasna waxay u bixiyeen Yubiter; Bawlosna waxay u bixiyeen Merkuriyos, maxaa yeelay, wuxuu ahaa kii hadalka waday.
And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercury, because he was the chief speaker.
13 Markaasaa wadaadkii Yubiter oo macbudkiisu ku yiil magaalada horteeda, wuxuu irdaha keenay dibiyo, iyo ubaxyo isku taxan, wuxuuna doonayay inuu dadkii badnaa la sadqeeyo.
Then the priest of Jupiter, that was in front of the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have offered sacrifice with the multitudes.
14 Laakiin rasuulladii Barnabas iyo Bawlos markay maqleen, ayay dharkoodii jeexjeexeen, oo dadkii badnaa ku soo dhex boodeen, iyagoo ku dhawaaqaya
But the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, when they heard of it, rent their garments, and rushed forth to the multitude, crying out
15 oo leh, Niman yahow, maxaad waxyaalahan u samaynaysaan? and saying, Men, why do ye these things? We also are men of like nature with you, bringing to you glad tidings, that ye may turn from these vanities to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea, and all things that are therein;

who in the ages past suffered all the nations to walk in their own ways;
17 Hase ahaatee isu maragfurla'aan iskama sii dayn, laakiin wanaag buu sameeyey, oo wuxuu samada idinka siiyey roob iyo xilliyo barwaaqo ah, isagoo qalbiyadiinna ka dherginaya cunto iyo farxad.
although he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness.
18 Markay waxyaalahaas yidhaahdeen, ayay dadkii badnaa dhib kaga joojiyeen inay u sadqeeyaan iyaga.
And with these words, they hardly restrained the multitudes from sacrificing to them.
19 Laakiin waxaa Antiyokh iyo Ikoniyon ka yimid Yuhuud, oo markay dadkii badnaa yeelsiiyeen, ayay Bawlos dhagxiyeen, oo magaaladii ka jiideen, iyagoo u malaynaya inuu dhintay.
But there came thither Jews from Antioch and Iconium; who, having persuaded the multitudes, and stoned Paul, dragged him out of the city, supposing him to be dead.
20 Laakiin intii xertii hareerihiisii taagnaayeen, ayuu kacay, markaasuu magaaladii galay; maalintii dambena wuu ka baxay oo Barnabas u raacay Derbe.
But the disciples having gathered around him, he rose up, and came into the city. And the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
21 Oo markay magaaladaas injiilkii ku wacdiyeen oo kuwo badan xer ka dhigeen, ayay ku noqdeen Lustara iyo Ikoniyon iyo Antiyokh,
And when they had published the glad tidings to that city, and had made many disciples, they went back to Lystra, and to Iconium, and to Antioch;
22 iyagoo nafihii xerta ku xoogaynaya, kuna waaninaya inay iimaanka ku sii wadaan, iyagoo ku leh, Waa inaynu dhibaatooyin badan ku galnaa boqortooyada Ilaah.
confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying that it is through many afflictions that we mast enter into the kingdom of God.
23 Oo markay iyagii kiniisad walba waayeello uga dooreen oo ay soon ku tukadeen, waxay iyagii ku ammaana geliyeen Rabbiga ay rumaysteen.
And having appointed for them elders in every church, they prayed with fasting, and commended them to the Lord, in whom they believed.
24 Markaasay sii dhex mareen Bisidiya oo yimaadeen Bamfuliya.
And having gone through Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia;
25 Oo kolkay ereyga kaga hadleen Berga ayay waxay tageen Ataliya;
and when they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia,
26 meeshaasna waxay uga dhoofeen Antiyokh, taasoo ahayd meeshii iyaga lagaga ammaana geliyey nimcadii Ilaah shuqulkii ay sameeyeen aawadiis.
and thence set sail for Antioch, whence they had been commended to the grace of God, for the work which they had accomplished.
27 Oo markay yimaadeen oo kiniisaddii isu ururiyeen waxay uga warrameen waxyaalihii Ilaah iyaga la sameeyey oo dhan iyo siduu albaabka iimaanka ugu furay dadkii aan Yuhuudda ahayn.
And when they had arrived and had gathered the church together, they related what great things God had wrought with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the gentiles.
28 Markaasay wakhti aan yarayn xertii la joogeen.
And they abode no little time with the disciples.
