Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy, to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

2 Nimco ha idinla jirto iyo nabad ka timaada Ilaaha Aabbaha ah iyo Rabbi Ciise Masiix.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly increasing and the love that each of you has for one another is abounding.

4 Sidaas daraaddeed waxaannu idinku faannaa kiniisadaha Ilaah dhexdooda, waana dulqaadashadiinna iyo rumaysadkiinna aad ku dhex leedihiin silecyada iyo dhibaatooyinka aad u adkaysataan oo dhan.

As a result we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your perseverance and faithfulness in all the persecutions and tribulations that you are enduring.

5 Taasu waxay muujisaa xukunka xaqa ah ee Ilaah, in laydinku tiriyo kuwo istaahila boqortooyada Ilaah, tan aad daraaddeed u xanuunsataan.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, and it is happening so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

6 Waayo, xagga Ilaah waa xaq inuu dhib ugu abaalgudo kuwa idin dhiba,

It is indeed right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,

7 iyo inuu kuwiinna la dhibay nala kiin nasiyo markii Rabbi Ciise samada ka muuqdo, isagoo wata malaa'igaha xooggiisa

and to give to you who are being afflicted relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his mighty angels.

8 oo dab ololaya ku jira, oo ka aargudanaya kuwa aan Ilaah aqoon iyo kuwa aan addeecin injiilka Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix.

With flaming fire he will inflict vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

9 Waxaa lagu ciqaabi doonaa halaag weligiis ah, oo waxaa laga gooyn doonaa Rabbiga hortiisa iyo ammaanta xooggiisa, (aiōnios g166)

They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, (aiōnios g166)

10 markuu yimaado maalintaas in isaga lagu ammaano quduusiintiisa oo lagula yaabo kuwii rumaystay oo dhan, maxaa yeelay, markhaatifurkayagii aan idiin sheegnay waa la rumaystay.

on that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all who have believed, including you, because you have believed our testimony.

11 Sababtaas daraaddeed mar walba waannu idiin ducaynaa in Ilaaheen idinka dhigo kuwa istaahila yeedhistiisa oo uu xoog ku dhammeeyo doonis kasta oo wanaag ah iyo shuqulka rumaysadka,

With this in mind, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling and by his power bring to fulfillment every good intention and work of faith,

12 in magaca Rabbi Ciise dhexdiinna lagu ammaano, idinkana in laydinku dhex ammaano isaga, sida nimcada Ilaaheenna iyo Rabbi Ciise Masiix ay tahay.

so that the name of our Lord Jesus will be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.
