Samuu'Eel Labaad 17
1 Oo weliba Axiitofel wuxuu Absaaloom ku yidhi, I daa aan laba iyo toban kun oo nin doortee oo aan caawa Daa'uud eryadee,
And he said Ahithophel to Absalom let me choose please two [plus] ten thousand man and I will arise and I will pursue after David this night.
2 oo waxaan u imanayaa intuu daallan yahay oo gacmihiisu taag daranyihiin, markaasaan cabsiinayaa, oo dadka isaga la jira oo dhammuna way carari doonaan. Markaasaan dili doonaa boqorka oo keliya.
So I may come on him and he [will be] weary and slack of hands and I will terrify him and will flee all the people which [is] with him and I will strike down the king to only him.
3 Oo dadka oo dhanna waan kuu soo celin doonaa, oo ninka aad doonaysaa waa sidii iyadoo ay dhammaan soo wada noqdeen; markaasay dadka oo dhammu nabad ku noolaan doonaan.
And I will bring back all the people to you as returns everything the man whom you [are] seeking all the people it will be peace.
4 Oo hadalkaasuna aad buu uga farxiyey Absaaloom iyo odayaashii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan.
And it was pleasing the word in [the] eyes of Absalom and in [the] eyes of all [the] elders of Israel.
5 Markaasaa Absaaloom wuxuu yidhi, Bal haddana iigu yeedh Xuushay kii reer Arkii, oo bal aan maqalno wuxuu isagu leeyahay.
And he said Absalom summon please also Hushai the Arkite so let us hear what? [is] in mouth his also he.
6 Markaasaa Xuushay u yimid Absaaloom, oo Absaaloomna intuu la hadlay ayuu ku yidhi, Axiitofel sidan buu ku hadlay. Haddaba siduu nagu yidhi ma yeelnaa? Haddii kale, adigu hadal.
And he came Hushai to Absalom and he said Absalom to him saying according to the word this he has spoken Ahithophel ¿ will we do word his if not you speak.
7 Kolkaasaa Xuushay wuxuu Absaaloom ku yidhi, Axiitofel talada uu markan ku taliyey ma fiicna.
And he said Hushai to Absalom not [is] good the counsel which he has counseled Ahithophel at the time this.
8 Oo weliba Xuushay wuxuu yidhi oo kale, Waad taqaannaa aabbahaa iyo raggiisaba inay rag xoog leh yihiin, iyo in maankoodu u kulul yahay sidii orso ilmaheedii duurka laga xaday, oo aabbahaana waa nin dagaalyahan ah, oo dadkana meel la baryi maayo.
And he said Hushai you you know father your and men his that [are] warriors they and [are] bitter of soul they like a bear robbed of cubs in the field and father your [is] a man of war and not he will pass [the] night with the people.
9 Oo bal eeg, hadda wuxuu ku dhuumanayaa bohol, ama meel kale; oo markii qaarkood la dilo marka hore, ku alla kii maqla ayaa odhan doona, Ciidammadii Absaaloom raacay waa la laayay.
There! now he [has] hidden himself in one of the ravines or in one of the places and it will be when falls among them at the first and he will hear the [one who] hears and he will say it has been a slaughter among the people which [is] after Absalom.
10 Oo xataa kan xoog badan, ee qalbigiisu yahay sida qalbiga libaaxa, wuu dhalaali doonaa dhammaantiis; waayo, reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu way og yihiin in aabbahaa yahay nin xoog badan, iyo in kuwa isaga la jira ay yihiin rag daran.
And he also a son of strength whom heart his [is] like [the] heart of lion surely he will melt for [is] knowing all Israel that [is] a warrior father your and [are] sons of strength who [are] with him.
11 Laakiinse anigu waxaan ku talinayaa in reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu adiga kuu soo shiraan oo ay ka yimaadaan tan iyo Daan iyo ilaa Bi'ir Shebac, oo ay u soo bataan sida cammuudda badda agteeda taal; oo aad adiga qudhaadu dagaalka gashid.
For I counsel certainly let it be gathered to you all Israel from Dan and to Beer Sheba like the sand which [is] at the sea for multitude and face your [will be] going in the battle.
12 Sidaasaynu isaga ugu iman doonnaa meesha laga helo, oo waxaynu ugu soo degi doonnaa sida dharabku dhulka ugu soo dego oo kale; oo isaga iyo dadka la socda oo dhanba xataa mid qudha ka reebi mayno.
And we will come against him (in one of *Q(k)*) the places where he is found there and we will set on him when it will fall the dew on the ground and not we will leave among him and among all the men who [are] with him also one.
13 Oo weliba hadduu magaalo galo, markaasay reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu xadhko soo qaadan doonaan, oo waxaynu magaalada u jiidaynaa xagga webiga oo waan ku ridaynaa, ilaa halkaas laga waayo xataa dhagax yar.
And if into a city he will be gathered and they will cause to bring all Israel to the city that ropes and we will drag him to the wadi until that not it has been found there also a pebble.
14 Markaasaa Absaaloom iyo raggii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhammu waxay yidhaahdeen, Xuushay kii reer Arkii taladiisu way ka wanaagsan tahay taladii Axiitofel. Waayo, Rabbigu wuxuu ka dhigay in laga adkaado taladii wanaagsanayd oo Axiitofel, si Rabbigu Absaaloom shar ugu soo dejiyo.
And he said Absalom and every man of Israel [is] good [the] counsel of Hushai the Arkite more than [the] counsel of Ahithophel and Yahweh he had commanded to frustrate [the] counsel of Ahithophel good in order to bring Yahweh to Absalom calamity.
15 Markaasaa Xuushay wuxuu ku yidhi wadaaddadii ahaa Saadooq iyo Aabyaataar, Axiitofel saas iyo saas buu ula taliyey Absaaloom iyo odayaashii reer binu Israa'iil, oo anna saas iyo saas baan ula taliyey.
And he said Hushai to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests like this and like this he has counseled Ahithophel Absalom and [the] elders of Israel and like this and like this I have counseled I.
16 Sidaas daraaddeed haddiiba u cid dira, oo Daa'uud u war geeya, oo waxaad ku tidhaahdaan, Caawa ha ku baryin meelaha loogu gudbo cidlada, laakiinse si alla si aad yeeshaba ka gudub; yaan adiga iyo dadka kula socda oo dhanba la wada liqine, boqorow.
And therefore send quickly and tell to David saying may not you pass [the] night this night at [the] desert plains of the wilderness and also certainly you will pass over lest it should be swallowed up to the king and to all the people which [is] with him.
17 Haddaba Yoonaataan iyo Axiimacas ma ay karin inay magaalada bayaan u soo galaan, sidaas daraaddeed waxay joogeen Ceyn Rogeel, oo gabadh addoon ah ayaa intay u tagtay wax u sheegtay; oo iyana intay tageen ayay boqor Daa'uud u soo warrameen.
And Jonathan and Ahimaaz [were] staying at En Rogel and she went the maidservant and she told to them and they they went and they told to the king David for not they were able to be seen to go the city towards.
18 Laakiinse wiil baa arkay iyagii, oo wuxuu u soo sheegay Absaaloom, oo iyana labadoodiiba haddiiba way carareen, oo waxay yimaadeen nin Baxuuriim deggan gurigiis oo barxadda ceel ku leh; oo iyana halkaasay ku dhaadhaceen.
And he saw them a young man and he told to Absalom and they went [the] two of them quickly and they came - to [the] house of a man in Bahurim and [belonged] to him a well in courtyard his and they went down there.
19 Oo naagtiina ceelka afkiisii bay wax ku gogoshay, oo waxay ku dul firdhisay hadhuudh la tumay; oo waxbana lagama ogaan.
And she took the woman and she spread out the covering on [the] face of the well and she spread on it the grain[s] and not it was known anything.
20 Oo addoommadii Absaaloom naagtii bay gurigii ugu yimaadeen; oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Awaye Axiimacas iyo Yoonaataan? Markaasaa naagtii waxay ku tidhi, War waxay ka gudbeen togga biyaha. Oo iyana markay doondooneen oo ay heli waayeen ayay ku noqdeen Yeruusaalem.
And they came [the] servants of Absalom to the woman the house towards and they said where? [are] Ahimaaz and Jonathan and she said to them the woman they have passed over [the] brook of water and they sought [them] and not they found [them] and they returned Jerusalem.
21 Oo markay tageen dabadeed ayay ceelkii ka soo baxeen, oo ay tageen, oo ay Boqor Daa'uud u soo warrameen; oo waxay Daa'uud ku yidhaahdeen, War ka kaca, oo haddiiba biyaha gudba, waayo, Axiitofel sidaasuu talo kaa gees ah ugu taliyey.
And it was - after had gone they and they came up from the well and they went and they told to the king David and they said to David arise and pass over quickly the water for thus he has counseled on you Ahithophel.
22 Markaasaa Daa'uud iyo dadkii isaga la jiray oo dhammu kaceen, oo waxay ka gudbeen Webi Urdun; oo markii waagii baryay ma jirin mid iyagii ah oo aan Webi Urdun ka gudbin.
And he arose David and all the people which [was] with him and they passed over the Jordan until [the] light of the morning up to one [person] not [was] missing who not he had passed over the Jordan.
23 Oo Axiitofelna markuu arkay inaan taladiisii la raacin ayuu dameerkii kooraystay, oo magaaladiisuu tegey, oo intuu reerkiisii la dardaarmay, ayuu isdeldelay; wuuna dhintay, oo waxaa lagu aasay qabrigii aabbihiis.
And Ahithophel he saw that not it was done counsel his and he saddled the donkey and he arose and he went to house his to city his and he commanded concerning household his and he hanged himself and he died and he was buried in [the] tomb of father his.
24 Oo Daa'uudna wuxuu yimid Maxanayim. Absaaloomna wuxuu ka soo gudbay Webi Urdun, isagoo wata raggii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan.
And David he had gone Mahanaim towards and Absalom he had passed over the Jordan he and every man of Israel with him.
25 Oo Absaaloomna wuxuu ciidankii madax uga dhigay Camaasaa, oo Yoo'aab wuu ka beddelay. Haddaba Camaasaa waxaa dhalay nin reer binu Israa'iil ah oo magiciisa la odhan jiray Yitraa, oo wuxuu qabay Abiigayil oo ay Naaxaash dhashay, oo waxay la dhalatay Seruuyaah oo ahayd Yoo'aab hooyadiis.
And Amasa he had appointed Absalom in place of Joab over the army and Amasa [was] a son of a man and name his [was] Jether the Israelite who he had gone into Abigail [the] daughter of Nahash [the] sister of Zeruiah [the] mother of Joab.
26 Markaasaa Absaaloom iyo reer binu Israa'iil waxay soo degeen dalkii Gilecaad.
And it encamped Israel and Absalom [the] land of Gilead.
27 Markii Daa'uud yimid Maxanayim waxaa u yimid Shobii oo ahaa ina Naaxaash ee ahaa reer Cammoonkii degganaa Rabbaah, iyo Maakiir oo ahaa ina Cammii'eel ee ahaa reer Loo Debaar, iyo Barsillay oo ahaa reer Gilecaadkii degganaa Rogeliim,
And it was when came David Mahanaim towards and Shobi [the] son of Nahash from Rabbah of [the] people of Ammon and Makir [the] son of Ammiel from Lo Debar and Barzillai the Gileadite from Rogelim.
28 oo waxay u keeneen gogol, iyo fijaanno, iyo weelal dhoobo ah, iyo sarreen, iyo shaciir, iyo bur, iyo salool, iyo atar, iyo misir, iyo digir,
Bed[s] and basins and a vessel of a potter and wheat and barley and flour and roasted grain and bean[s] and lentils and roasted grain.
29 iyo malab, iyo subag, iyo ido, iyo faar lo'aad, oo waxay waxaas oo dhan u keeneen Daa'uud iyo dadkii la socday inay cunaan, waayo, waxay isyidhaahdeen, Dadku cidladay ku gaajoodeen, oo ku daaleen, oo ku harraadeen.
And honey and curd and sheep and cheese of [the] herd they brought for David and for the people which [was] with him to eat for they said the people [is] hungry and weary and thirsty in the wilderness.
