< Boqorradii Labaad 20 >

1 Oo waagaas ayaa Xisqiyaah bukooday, oo geeri buu u dhowaaday. Markaasaa Nebi Ishacyaah oo ahaa ina Aamoos u yimid oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Reerkaaga la dardaaran, waayo, waad dhimanaysaa oo sii noolaan maysid.
In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, The Lord says, Put your house in order, for your death is near.
2 Oo isna markaasuu wejigiisii derbiga ku sii jeediyey, oo Rabbiga baryay, oo yidhi,
Then, turning his face to the wall, he made his prayer to the Lord, saying,
3 Rabbiyow, waan ku baryayaaye, bal haatan xusuuso sidaan hortaada ugu socday runta iyo qalbi qumman, iyo sidaan u sameeyey waxa hortaada ku wanaagsan. Xisqiyaahna aad buu u ooyay.
O Lord, keep in mind how I have been true to you with all my heart, and have done what is good in your eyes. And Hezekiah gave way to bitter weeping.
4 Oo intaanu Ishacyaah weli magaalada dhexe u bixin ayaa eraygii Rabbigu isagii u yimid oo ku yidhi,
Now before Isaiah had gone out of the middle of the town, the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
5 Dib u noqo, oo Xisqiyaah oo ah amiirka dadkayga waxaad ku tidhaahdaa, Rabbiga ah Ilaaha awowgaa Daa'uud wuxuu leeyahay, Baryootankaagii waan maqlay, ilmadaadiina waan arkay, haddaba waan ku bogsiinayaa, oo maalinta saddexaad waxaad u bixi doontaa guriga Rabbiga.
Go back and say to Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, The Lord, the God of David your father, says, Your prayer has come to my ears, and I have seen your weeping; see, I will make you well: on the third day you will go up to the house of the Lord.
6 Oo cimrigaagiina waxaan kuugu dari doonaa shan iyo toban sannadood, oo adiga iyo magaaladanba waan ka samatabbixin doonaa gacanta boqorka Ashuur, oo waxaan magaaladan u daafici doonaa aniga daraadday iyo addoonkaygii Daa'uud daraaddiis.
I will give you fifteen more years of life; and I will keep you and this town safe from the hands of the king of Assyria; I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant David.
7 Markaasaa Ishacyaah yidhi, Waxaad qaaddaan fud berde ah, oo iyana way qaadeen, oo waxay saareen kasoobixii, wuuna bogsaday.
Then Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. So they took it and put it on his wound, and he got better.
8 Markaasaa Xisqiyaah wuxuu Ishacyaah ku yidhi, Maxaa calaamad ii noqon doona in Rabbigu i bogsiinayo oo aan maalinta saddexaad guriga Rabbiga u baxayo?
And Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What is to be the sign that the Lord will make me well, and that I will go up to the house of the Lord on the third day?
9 Kolkaasaa Ishacyaah ku yidhi, Calaamadda xagga Rabbiga kaaga imanaysa in Rabbigu samaynayo wixii uu ballanqaaday waxay ahaan doontaa tan: hoosku ma inuu hore u socdaa toban derejo mase waa inuu dib u socdaa toban derejo?
And Isaiah said, This is the sign the Lord will give you, that he will do what he has said; will the shade go forward ten degrees or back?
10 Markaasaa Xisqiyaah wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Waa wax fudud in hoosku toban derejo hore u socdo; hase ahaatee, hoosku dib ha u soo noqdo toban derejo,
And Hezekiah said in answer, It is a simple thing for the shade to go forward; but let it go back ten degrees.
11 Markaasaa Nebi Ishacyaah u qayliyey Rabbiga; oo isna markaasuu hooskii toban derejo dib uga soo celiyey intuu hore uga socday derejooyinkii Aaxaas.
Then Isaiah the prophet made prayer to the Lord, and he made the shade go back ten degrees from its position on the steps of Ahaz.
12 Waagaas Berodag Baladaan, oo ahaa ina Baladaan oo boqorkii Baabuloon ahaa ayaa warqado iyo hadiyad Xisqiyaah u soo diray, waayo, wuxuu maqlay in Xisqiyaah bukay.
At that time, Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters with an offering to Hezekiah, because he had news that Hezekiah had been ill.
13 Oo markaasuu Xisqiyaah iyagii maqlay oo wuxuu tusay dhammaan gurigii ay yiilleen waxyaalihiisii qaaliga ahaa, kuwaasoo ahaa lacagtii iyo dahabkii, iyo uunsigii iyo saliiddii qaaliga ahayd, iyo gurigiisii hubka, iyo kulli waxyaalihii khasnadihiisa ku jiray oo dhan. Oo Xisqiyaah wax uusan iyaga tusin laguma arag gurigiisa iyo dowladdiisa oo dhan.
And Hezekiah was glad at their coming and let them see all his store of wealth, the silver and the gold and the spices and the oil of great price, and the house of his arms, and everything there was in his stores; there was nothing in all his house or his kingdom which Hezekiah did not let them see.
14 Markaasaa Nebi Ishacyaah u yimid Boqor Xisqiyaah, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, War nimankanu maxay yidhaahdeen? Xaggee bayse kaaga yimaadeen? Kolkaasaa Xisqiyaah yidhi, Waxay ka yimaadeen dal fog, kaasoo ah Baabuloon.
Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah and said to him, What did these men say and where did they come from? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country, even from Babylon.
15 Markaasuu ku yidhi, Maxay gurigaaga ku arkeen? Oo Xisqiyaah wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Way wada arkeen waxa gurigayga yaal oo dhan; oo khasnadahayga kuma jiraan wax aanan tusin.
And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah said in answer, They saw everything in my house: there is nothing among my stores which I did not let them see.
16 Kolkaasaa Ishacyaah wuxuu Xisqiyaah ku yidhi, Haddaba bal maqal erayga Rabbiga.
And Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Give ear to the word of the Lord.
17 Bal eeg, waxaa iman doona maalmaha waxa gurigaaga yaal oo dhan iyo wixii ay awowayaashaa ilaa maantadan kaydiyeen Baabuloon loo qaadan doono. Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Waxba ma hadhi doonaan.
Truly, days are coming when everything in your house, and whatever your fathers have put in store till this day, will be taken away to Babylon: all will be gone, says the Lord.
18 Wiilashaada kaa soo bixi doona oo aad dhali doontana waa la kaxaysan doonaa; oo iyana waxay ahaan doonaan bohommo jooga daarta boqorka Baabuloon.
And your sons, the offspring of your body, they will take away to be unsexed servants in the house of the king of Babylon.
19 Markaasaa Xisqiyaah wuxuu Ishacyaah ku yidhi, Erayga Rabbiga oo aad ku hadashay waa wanaagsan yahay. Oo weliba wuxuu kaloo yidhi, Mar haddii nabad iyo rumu ay jirayaan intaan noolahay, sow ma wanaagsana?
Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which you have said. Then he said, ... if in my time there is peace and righteousness?
20 Haddaba Xisqiyaah falimihiisii kale, iyo xooggiisii oo dhan, iyo siduu u sameeyey balliga iyo biyomareenka, iyo siduu magaalada biyo ugu keenay, sow kuma qorna kitaabkii taariikhda boqorradii dalka Yahuudah?
Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his power, and how he made the pool and the stream, to take water into the town, are they not recorded in the book of the history of the kings of Judah?
21 Markaasaa Xisqiyaah dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis, oo waxaa meeshiisii boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Manaseh.
And Hezekiah went to rest with his fathers; and Manasseh his son became king in his place.
