Jotham [is] a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jerushah daughter of Zadok.
2 Oo isna wuxuu sameeyey wax Rabbiga hortiisa ku qumman, oo wuxuu wada yeelay sidii aabbihiis Cusiyaah yeelay oo kale. Habase yeeshee ma uu gelin macbudkii Rabbiga, oo dadkiina weliba way sii xumaadeen.
And he does that which is right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Uzziah did; only, he has not come into the temple of YHWH; and again the people are doing corruptly.
3 Oo isagu wuxuu dhisay iriddii sare oo guriga Rabbiga, oo derbigii Cofel dushiisana wax badan buu ka dhisay.
He has built the Upper Gate of the house of YHWH, and in the wall of Ophel he has built abundantly;
4 Oo haddana wuxuu magaalooyin ka dhisay dalka Yahuudah oo buuraha leh, oo kaynta dhexdeedana wuxuu ka dhisay qalcado iyo munaarado.
and he has built cities in the hill-country of Judah, and he has built palaces and towers in the forests.
5 Oo weliba wuxuu la diriray oo ka adkaaday boqorkii reer Cammoon. Oo reer Cammoonna isla sannaddaasba waxay isagii siiyeen boqol talanti oo lacag ah, iyo toban kun oo kor oo sarreen ah, iyo toban kun oo kor oo shaciir ah. Oo reer Cammoon intaas ayay siiyeen sannaddii labaad iyo sannaddii saddexaadba.
And he has fought with the king of the sons of Ammon, and prevails over them, and the sons of Ammon give to him in that year one hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand of barley; the sons of Ammon have returned this to him both in the second year and in the third.
6 Oo sidaasuu Yootam u xoogaystay, maxaa yeelay, jidadkiisa ayuu ku hor toosiyey Rabbiga Ilaahiisa ah.
And Jotham strengthens himself, for he has prepared his ways before his God YHWH.
7 Haddaba Yootam falimihiisii kale iyo dagaalladiisii oo dhan iyo jidadkiisii oo dhammu waxay ku qoran yihiin kitaabkii boqorrada dalka Israa'iil iyo dalka Yahuudah.
And the rest of the matters of Jotham, and all his battles, and his ways, behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah.
8 Markuu boqor noqday wuxuu jiray shan iyo labaatan sannadood, oo Yeruusaalemna lix iyo toban sannadood buu boqor ku ahaa.

9 Markaasaa Yootam dhintay oo la seexday awowayaashiis oo waxaa lagu aasay magaaladii Daa'uud, oo meeshiisiina waxaa boqor ka noqday wiilkiisii Aaxaas.
and Jotham lies with his fathers, and they bury him in the City of David, and his son Ahaz reigns in his stead.
