1 Tesaloniika 5
1 Walaalayaalow, uma baahnidin in laydiin soo qoro wax ku saabsan wakhtiyada iyo xilliyada.
But concerning the times and seasons, my brethren, ye need not that I write to you:
2 Waayo, idinka qudhiinnuba qummaati baad u garanaysaan inay maalinta Rabbigu u imanayso sida tuug habeen u yimaado.
for ye know assuredly, that the day of our Lord so cometh, as a thief by night.
3 Markay leeyihiin, Waa nabad iyo salaamad, kolkaasaa filashola'aan halaaggu u qaban doonaa sida fooshu naag uur leh u qabato; iyaguna sinaba ugama baxsan doonaan.
While they will be saying, Peace and quietness, then suddenly destruction will burst upon them, as distress upon a child-bearer, and they will not escape.
4 Laakiinse idinku, walaalayaalow, gudcur kuma jirtaan in maalintaasu sida tuug idiin qabato.
But ye, my brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Waayo, kulligiin waxaad tihiin carruurta nuurka iyo carruurta maalinnimada, innagu ma nihin kuwa habeennimada iyo gudcurka;
For ye are all children of the light, and children of the day; and are not children of the night, and children of darkness.
6 sidaas daraaddeed yeynan seexan sida kuwa kale yeelaan, laakiinse aan soo jeedno oo aan feeyignaanno.
Let us not therefore sleep, like others; but let us be vigilant and considerate.
7 Waayo, kuwa seexdaa habeenkay seexdaan, kuwa sakhraamaana habeenkay sakhraamaan.
For they who sleep, sleep in the night; and they who are drunken, are drunken in the night.
8 Laakiin innagoo kuwa maalinta ah aan feeyignaanno, oo gashanno hubka laabta oo rumaysadka iyo jacaylka ah iyo koofiyadda rajada badbaadada ah.
But let us who are children of the day, be wakeful in mind, and put on the breastplate of faith and love, and take the helmet of the hope of life.
9 Waayo, Ilaah inooma uu dooran cadhada, laakiinse wuxuu inoo doortay inaynu ku badbaadno Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix,
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to the acquisition of life, by our Lord Jesus the Messiah:
10 kan inoo dhintay, inaynu la wada noolaanno isaga, haddaynu nool nahay iyo haddaynu dhimannoba.
who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we might live together with him.
11 Sidaas daraaddeed midkiinba midka kale ha dhiirrigeliyo oo ha dhiso sidaad yeelaysaan oo kale.
Therefore comfort one another, and edify one another, as also ye have done.
12 Laakiinse waxaannu idinka baryaynaa, walaalayaalow, inaad maamuustaan kuwa idinku dhex hawshooda, oo xagga Rabbiga idinkaga sarreeya oo idinla taliya;
And we entreat you, my brethren, that ye recognize them who labor among you, and who stand before your faces in our Lord, and instruct you:
13 oo aad iyaga aad iyo aad jacayl ugu derejaysaan shuqulkooda aawadiis. Nabad ku wada jooga.
that they may be esteemed by you with abundant love; and, on account of their work, live ye in harmony with them.
14 Oo waannu idin waaninaynaa, walaalayaalow, Kuwa si aan hagaagsanayn u socda la taliya, oo kuwa qalbi jabay dhiirigeliya, oo kuwa itaalka yar garab siiya, oo dadka oo dhanna u dulqaata.
And we entreat you, my brethren, that ye admonish the faulty, and encourage the faint-hearted, and bear the burdens of the weak, and be long suffering towards all men.
15 Iska jira inaan midkiinna midka kale shar shar uga celin; laakiinse kol kasta wax wanaagsan ha ugu dadaalo, oo dadka oo dhanna ha ugu dadaalo.
And beware, lest any of you return evil for evil, but always follow good deeds, towards one another, and towards all men.
16 Had iyo goorba farxa.
And be joyful always.
17 Joogsila'aanna tukada.
And pray without ceasing.
18 Wax walbana mahad ka naqa, waayo, taasu waxay idiin tahay doonista Ilaah xagga Ciise Masiix.
And in every thing be thankful: For this is the pleasure of God in Jesus the Messiah, concerning you.
19 Ruuxa ha deminina.
Quench not the Spirit.
20 Wax sii sheegiddana ha quudhsanina.
Despise not prophesying.
21 Wax walba tijaabiya, waxa fiicanna xajiya.
Explore every thing, and hold fast the good:
22 Wax kasta oo shar u egna ka fogaada.
and fly from every thing evil.
23 Ilaaha nabadda qudhiisu quduus ha idinka wada dhigo, oo ruuxiinna iyo naftiinna iyo jidhkiinna dhammaan ha la wada ilaaliyo, iyagoo ceeb la' markii Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix yimaado.
And may the God of peace sanctify you all, perfectly, and keep blameless your whole spirit, and your soul, and your body, till the coming of our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
24 Kan idiin yeedhaa waa aamin, wuuna samayn doonaa.
Faithful is he that hath called you, who will do it.
25 Walaalayaalow, noo soo duceeya.
My brethren, pray for us.
26 Walaalaha oo dhanna dhunkasho quduus ah ku salaama.
Salute all our brethren with a holy kiss.
27 Rabbigaan idinku dhaarinayaaye, Warqaddan ha loo akhriyo walaalaha oo dhan.
I conjure you by our Lord, that this epistle be read to all the holy brethren.
28 Nimcada Rabbigeenna Ciise Masiix ha idinla jirto.
The grace of our Lord Jesus the Messiah be with you. Amen.
